Some restaurants may delay but note they have the time estimate before picking. Good communication and the best app itself easy to navigate

I think it’s a great app, but needs some work. The fee is too high in comparison to other apps, very limited order selections and there are no updates. Uber has a map, and continuously gives you updates... you should work on that.
Other than that, I love it!

I love that they have many local restaurant options and they’re very quick!

No friendly design. You can not contact the delivery. Delivery get lost. Expensive charges

First two times using Uva order came correct, last three times it was a huge disappointment. I don’t know why you are given the option to add notes on your order if food arrives however the cooks pleases. I do not know if drivers are able to read these notes and they just don’t verify the order or if app do not populate these notes to them. Also app glitches and sometimes after you have an order on cart and are trying to checkout it states you have no items on and you have to recreate order. Once you check your order there’s no way you can go into the details of your order. I want to love Uva since it’s a service which it’s needed but I feel I’m wasting my money on food that doesn’t come how I order and I don’t want to wait for another 40 minutes to an hour so mistake can be fix. When you’re hungry, you’re hungry! Wishing you guys can improve service either by asking more from the restaurant you add or fixing glitches from app. Hope this review helps.

First I called the restaurant and they told me that my order was ready at 7:20 (1 hr after submitting the order) I wrote to my driver that my order was ready just in case I had made any mistake. She told me that she had picked up my order. After about 40 minutes waiting I checked and my driver apparently had canceled and I was assigned another driver. I called him and told him that I had been waiting for my order almost two hours. He said that he would check what happened and if he was able to pick it up he would deliver it to me. Finally 2 and a half hours later my oder finally arrived. I am very unhappy and upset with Uva. I have deleted it and do not recommend it to anyone. If I could give it 0 stars I would. Horrible experience for being my first time and do not intend on using it again.

I had three bad experiences the three times I ordered from them, and tried to give them the chance because I thought it was better to “support local”. But this last one was the worst!! Imagine you place the order, they tell you it’s been accepted. A driver goes to pick up the food, and the restaurant was closed. No notification. The driver leaves, and Uva sends ANOTHER driver to the place. Half an hour later I receive an email as if my meal was delivered. On top of that, they had already charged me, and no one was available from support since their phones no longer accept calls and their customer support line (instead, they direct you to send a message thru Facebook), and they didn’t answer me throughout their Facebook page until the next day. If I could give a 0 star rating, I would.

I tried this application today for the first time and I’m extremely happy with my experience. The selection of restaurants is unparalleled, the ease of ordering unexpected and the delivery process was exceptional.

While on government imposed quarantine, I was able to enjoy sushi from my favorite sushi restaurant (Umai) with no issues in the process. It was delivered fairly fast and in perfect order. If that was not enough, the delivery was FREE!

I thank you for making this quarantine a little less stressful by making it possible to treat myself today.

Living in NY I decided to send bottles of wine to mine and wife’s parents. Only one order made it and the other was not delivered because no one picked up the phone. It appears that the number had a typo. When asked if they could provide refund or attempt another delivery (which I offered to pay) they declined and said that they had done their part.

It was a $97 gift basket of two wines and cheese that I guess the delivery person enjoyed that night. Tried support over FB as they don’t have a number to call. They told me to send an email to support. Never heard back.

They don’t have Terms and Conditions or any sort of clear policy. Just look at the reviews of others. Not using them again.

I ordered from Uva THREE times. The first two times everything was PERFECT I had zero issues with the orders or the deliveries. The third time I ordered, I received a phone call from a woman saying that they do not deliver to my address...remind you I ordered from Uva TWICE before from the SAME place and both deliveries were made no questions asked.
They did not only charge me my order but they also didn’t deliver it... if my address wasn’t eligible for delivery in the first place, it should have been specified IN Uva . But no, they charged me everything anyway and the lady literally had the nerve to say that my refund was going to take 1-10 days.. seriously ?
So I’m supposed to starve until I get my money back. Thanks .

Costumer service is none user friendly .
No way to review drivers, thus this app allows people with bad people relations skills and even criminals which gives the users bad experiences repeatedly.
The thing here is that this app has had little to no updates in the pasts year of doing business which leds to believe it is just an entertainment for the creators and not a serious business.

You have no way of making sure the food will get to you and if it does it is after 2 and a half hours. One driver never called me and when he finally texted me i called him through facetime audio because he didnt have a phone number just so he would tell me he had left with my food and that he had waited in front of my house. This was obviously not true so im guessing he just lied to eat the food i had ordered. Thanks for nothing I am calling the bank to report the retention. Never ordering from Uva again. Worst experience with a delivery app ever.

Uva it’s glitched or needs an update, when you try to go to the cart after you have selected the items of whatever the restaurant, it doesn’t let you. It doesn’t even shows you a notification or something... but when you try to go the cart before selecting the items it pops up a notification saying “you need to select some items before going to the cart” this needs to be Fix Asap..

If this has happened to anybody else just opt for UberEats... sadly to say but as of right now its more reliable.

With this new reality, nobody wants to leave the house. I love ordering my breakfasts and sometimes dinners with this app. Every driver assigned to my delivery have been very responsable by calling and giving status. I know all drivers don’t give the same service nor treatment, but there are a large amount of good ones working for this app. I do highly recommend Uva!

Uva does not work for me at all! I’ve tried every sign in method, deleted and reinstalled Uva , waited for a couple of weeks and still it doesn’t let me register. When i skip the registration to sign in my details later on, nothing shows up. I’ve been trying to use Uva for literally a year and i still haven't been able to. I gave it so many tries over the months and there has been no change. Im not one to give reviews but i was so upset because i really wanted Uva to work for me.

My experience with this app has always been excellent. The food has arrived as ordered and the drivers are very nice and respectful.
During the pandemic they keep their distance or leave the food outside your door. I love that they added toys for fun and the med store. Makes it much easier to stay at home. I am thinking of ordering Monopoly, that will keep us entertained for a while!

You place the order! They say the order has been accepted and later Uva updates and says it’s being picked up... you get the drivers name! And then they refund the full amount to the email and they do not notify anything on Uva . So you are stuck guessing! Is my food coming? Have I been scammed? if you are not constantly checking your email you would not find out. All of this Meanwhile you and your family are hungry! Won’t be using again if I could give 0 stars ⭐️ I would!

Been giving Uva a chance on and off because they have a lot of local restaurants that other food delivery apps don’t offer but the service stops being worth it. I much rather call the restaurant directly and pick up my order than deal with the stress of cancelled orders, delayed drivers and even delayed “make ups” after they give your order to the wrong person and your food is gone. Really tried to give it a shot but had to delete this one.

Excellent app. Definitely flawless. Order process was very user friendly and quick. Delivery takes approx. 45min which is fair giving they need to place your order, pick it up and deliver. Restaurant selection is way over average. Food arrived at good temperature and the driver was very friendly. Great job guys! Keep it up.

It is app that has space for better tools. But, it is still a great delivery service app! Food arrives on time and the drivers keep me updated of my order status. I recommend ordering with anticipation and enjoy!

As much as I wanna love Uva, I just can’t. The selection of restaurants is the best among all the other app, but you can barely customize any order and there’s no status updates. Plus the delivery fee is WAY too high compared to Uber Eats, Dame un Bite, and Glovo.

They have curated the restaurant list, takes all the effort out of choosing.

Not well designed app! No updates or info on your order! Its not reliable! Worst food app

A simple order took too long (2 hours) to be delivered. Driver was rude and stubborn. The fee is way too high.

I decided to stay at home an order some take out on Valentines Day and the service was awful. My order took 2 hour and It was cold. I didnt get any notification that they receive my order. I tried to call them to know my order status and I didn’t get any respond, they didn’t answer any of my calls. Then I call the restaurant and decided to cancel the order, and they delivered anyway. After all they take the food away and gave me the money back.
