My child is obsessed with the songs from her Music Together class, so it's good to be able to pull them up on my phone without going the the hassle of uploading the CD to my computer and then downloading it onto the phone. However, this app leaves a lot to be desired. It is slow to load the songs or change tracks. It has a "playlist" feature, but since there does not seem to be a way to actually play the playlists I make, it's not useful. This is too bad because I'd like to loop her favorite songs on repeat, but that's not an option here. Plus, making a playlist is painfully slow and frustrating. Also, you can't move to different parts of a song, e.g., you can't skip the intro or review a specific section of a song. I haven't tried any of the video or other features, but I think it should work well as a music player, before adding extras.

Every couple of weeks this app logs me out mid-playback and I have to change my password while my toddler asks me 100 times for her music. It doesn’t work well at all with Airplay and Apple HomePods - it pauses the music when you go to another app or lock your phone - so I have play it from my phone with poor sound quality in order to be able to use any other apps while it plays. And sometimes during AirPlay, mid-playback it would turn on the Apple TV and play whatever show we were watching last, which is just bizarre. We still listen to it all day, every day because my toddler loves the music.

I whole heartedly endorse the Music Together program and having everything together in one place on theapp is nice. However, the awesome karaoke feature is gone. I loved specifically this feature in the old version, particularly how you could lower the voice so it still played softly in the background. I cannot understand why this popular feature which made listening to songs on the app a unique feature, is gone. To say I’m bummed is a huge understatement.
