My child is obsessed with the songs from her Music Together class, so it's good to be able to pull them up on my phone without going the the hassle of uploading the CD to my computer and then downloading it onto the phone. However, MusicTogether leaves a lot to be desired. It is slow to load the songs or change tracks. It has a "playlist" feature, but since there does not seem to be a way to actually play the playlists I make, it's not useful. This is too bad because I'd like to loop her favorite songs on repeat, but that's not an option here. Plus, making a playlist is painfully slow and frustrating. Also, you can't move to different parts of a song, e.g., you can't skip the intro or review a specific section of a song. I haven't tried any of the video or other features, but I think it should work well as a music player, before adding extras.

Every couple of weeks MusicTogether logs me out mid-playback and I have to change my password while my toddler asks me 100 times for her music. It doesn’t work well at all with Airplay and Apple HomePods - it pauses the music when you go to another app or lock your phone - so I have play it from my phone with poor sound quality in order to be able to use any other apps while it plays. And sometimes during AirPlay, mid-playback it would turn on the Apple TV and play whatever show we were watching last, which is just bizarre. We still listen to it all day, every day because my toddler loves the music.

I whole heartedly endorse the Music Together program and having everything together in one place on theapp is nice. However, the awesome karaoke feature is gone. I loved specifically this feature in the old version, particularly how you could lower the voice so it still played softly in the background. I cannot understand why this popular feature which made listening to songs on MusicTogether a unique feature, is gone. To say I’m bummed is a huge understatement.

My only gripe with MusicTogether is the switch between streaming and download. My daughter tends to switch to streaming at the most inopportune time and we have to wait till we are back on WiFi to get it to useable state. Just bury this switch to some other place in MusicTogether or in settings would make this just easier.

At home, MusicTogether gets 5 stars. My son loves our classes and listening to the songs outside of class.
My only issue is when we’re somewhere with spotty/no cell service. Many times, I’ve tried to check songs and make them available offline. It’s never worked. It’s quite possible that I’m doing something incorrectly. But I’m doing what seems to be indicated and it doesn’t work.

We’ve been a MT family for seven years; our oldest now attends RK. We have the whole MT series with two full editions, going on three, plus our RK albums.

What would make Hello Everybody five stars for me?

* Being able to search. By lyric would be awesome. By title would be great.

* I’d love if downloading really worked. MusicTogether is empty unless it’s connected to the internet, even though I have everything switched to download to my device. It’s a glaring issue. I can’t count the number of times I’ve opened Music up so I can actually play the album we want to hear. Hello Everybody should work whether we are online
or off it. Children just don’t care about network connectivity issues, and I don’t want to either!

Those two issues aside, it’s a very nicely designed app and my first stop for playing all our MT and RK tunes.

As for RK, it’s awesome. We’re so grateful our local school finally started classes. We stated online with teachers out of state through our local school, and the success of the classes led to local teachers up-skilling. Pandemic effect at its finest.

Thank you for the long overdue update of MusicTogether ! The UI is modern, relevant, brighter and easier to use. The UX is also much more pleasant and intuitive, the new player is great because it’s now aligned with that we experience in today’s app ecosystem. Oh! and the icon is so cute! A few notes to consider for the future: it would be nice to have a way to search for songs by name or have the songs tab organized alphabetically for all songs vs per album. But overall, great job! I know a lot goes behind the scenes for a long time to make this big release happen 👏

MusicTogether is an awesome way to have all of our favorite Music Together tunes in one place. The karaoke function is extremely helpful for learning the songs; I’m able to sing-along and teach my kid so much better with the words! Being able to create your own playlists is also a great feature.

The one missing feature is the ability to shuffle music. It would be so much better to not *always* have to hear the songs in the same order or to have to manually jump around. Other than that, a great app!

Wonderful for listening like a CD, and using the karaoke feature. The tracks with only instrumental and no vocals are like bonus content! I wish you could select the albums more easy, like a gallery view, rather than a slide on the bottom of the screen. Another great feature would be the ability to start a track in the middle. If you could see the length of the track and select a starting point that would be a great advantage!

Love MusicTogether and the chance to practice class songs at home and in the car.
Only downside is that I have to stream songs through app rather than have them ‘live’ on my phone. Music Together customer support was excellent and explained this is an apple policy (I use an iPhone). The work around is to load songs via CD onto my iTunes but I’m lazy and hate using iTunes. Only an issue with traveling.
Overall, great app, streaming is excellent, helps us enjoy MT all the time!

All the functions seem to work as intended. I do think it’s too easy to accidentally hit the download on/off button. I would rather have them stay downloaded once it’s done personally, but that’s a minor issue. Very convenient way to let my son listen to his favorite songs almost anywhere.

MusicTogether is linked with our Music Together class music and my kids adore it. We listen to it everyday in the house and in the car! It’s always the calm to the storm.. and music should be in and around every happy home. Great music! Functions perfectly! Always updating with fun new things. Would advise to any mother with young children in the home. ❤️

We love the hello everybody, music together app! It makes taking our favorite music together songs along with us. Since beginning music together, my now 4 year old can pitch match and he and my 2 year old both LOVE to song and dance! They’ve been exposed to all sorts of music, rhythms, and instruments and love going to class! I’d recommend MusicTogether and the classes to any parent!

Music Together has helped my son who’s almost 2y, how to balance, understand how his body can move to the beat of the music, and provided an experience that allowed him to express his interest while interacting with new children his age! We made great friends - mini-humans, moms, and papas! I recommend that anyone with children attend one of these classes. It lets extroverts shine, and provides space for introverts go at their own pace. It’s been a marvelous experience. Having MusicTogether allows easy access to sing, dance, and learn from home or provides activities for play dates!

MusicTogether has been incredibly helpful when in the car for long periods or while redirecting my toddler during tough times. It is also great to just play from my phone during bath time or doing chores around the house. We haven’t used any other feature besides the music portion since were low-tech but it’s great to know when he gets older!

I love Music Together classes. The music book and CD that come with the class are easy to download and use. Pages are filled with colorful images and stories to go along with most songs. After a few times listening to the CD you are singing to songs you’ve never heard of! Best of all, those tunes can be used all throughout the day! You’ll start humming them before you know it!

My children and I love the Hello Everybody app! Such a clever idea to make all the songs in each collection portable so that we have music wherever we go. I particularly love that the lyrics appear, so I can learn them while we listen. And that we can switch to karaoke to improvise our own lyrics. My children engage more fully in music making thanks to MusicTogether!

Wonderful app that allows us to learn all the music from our Music Together classes and take them on the go with us when we’re out and about.

These songs help us through unwanted diaper changes, unhappy car rides, and transitioning between activities. They are also inspiring and make my one year old get up and dance or go and play on her drum.

My husband and I are both professional Musicians in New York City, and is soon as our daughter was old enough I eat out of the way! We signed her up for this program and have only wonderful things to say about it! It incorporates rhythm pitch movement singing instruments… It’s really cohesive and our daughter automatically starts dancing to it whenever she hears the music come on. I highly recommend this and MusicTogether to anyone who is interested and enriching their children with music.

App is easy to navigate and works well with our in person class to review songs and give additional exposure to the program. You can read the lyrics while playing the songs and MusicTogether features are comparable to most other music playing apps.

Great companion to get our little guy experiencing music!
