MyUSMint is worthless for online ordering Period. I have been ordering everything online for over ten years now. MyUSMint is the only app that has a 90% failure rate, not the buyer, MyUSMint . Because it is a Government Agency that is the seller, there is Zero responsibility taken on my many order Failures of the last 5 years, I’ve called and waited for almost an hour to have a Representative tell me “I don’t know why your order did not go though; you must have done something wrong 😑”. I surrendered, “UNCLE”; the stress & Frustration MyUSMint generates is now worth the perceived gain.

It just opens your browser. Plus you cannot actually buy anything because they have no safe guards in place to prvent mass bots buying. Even though they claimed to have fixed that. You can never reach anybody to place a phone order

I hate MyUSMint: it frequently crashes, then erroneously says to "check internet connection." Also, US Mint doesn't quickly update inventory available for sale so buyers are at a disadvantage compared to professional numismatists and dealers. For example, the 2016 gold mercury dime was never listed as available on MyUSMint until days after it was listed on the Mint's website, which sold 9,000 in 90 minutes just before Xmas. For the hobbyist taxpayer, that was a real scam because there was no pre-sale announcement and the product webpage was several clicks from the Mint's homepage.

Two hours waiting to purchase the 75 anniversary silver eagle: the mint keep blocking me for no reason. I been a customer for over 12 years and this is how they paid me! Big corporations purchase thousands and are selling them at eBay for thousands of dollars. And zero, nada, no coin at all, not fair, the mint should look after little faithful collectors like me, even if I only spend $65! I’m very angry, : I know nobody is going to do nothing about it because money talks!

Be aware that MyUSMint has major flaws, which will prevent you from completing the ordering and purchasing of coins. On Aug 10, 2021 it prevented me from purchasing the “2021 Peace Dollar” and on Aug 12, 2021 it prevented me from ordering the new 2021 American Eagle One Ounce Silver Proof Coin. I will never trust MyUSMint again.

I got MyUSMint yesterday and am ready to delete it today. I selected “Most Popular” as one of the three home screen options and when I select it, it gives me the progress circle as tho it’s actually goin to open it, then stops and leaves me at the home screen. Then I was looking thru the coin catalog and the chat pop up window dominated the screen and I couldn’t cancel it because the pop up was too large for the screen and it won’t let me scroll side to side. So there’s no way to cancel it. My advice: use the website, MyUSMint isn’t worth your time.

MyUSMint crashes constantly, giving an error of "check your connection". It seems like every time you click on anything- "check your connection", which also returns you to home page. I tried to purchase a new release and by time I navigated back after all the "check your connection" errors it was sold out. Now if I want that item I have to pay 3x's more on eBay. Thanks for the FREE app!!! <----- (read as sarcasm)

MyUSMint is terrible. 2.8 is being very generous. Does the mint even care? With all these reviews nothing had changed. Press a menu button and nothing happens or it seems to go to their mobile web site. Press Feedback and MyUSMint either crashes or does nothing. Ever other coin app I have works great. I guess that come from being in business to make a profit and not money!

Worst app on the planet. Forget ordering via IOS on cell phone. Finally got order through I-Pad. Sad when you have to order US Coins via 3rd Party. Director of US mint should be replaced since we pay the salary! One more comment, thanks for lifting the household limit. Now all these currency companies can hoard US Coins and resale to the public at ridiculous pricing. Sorry but done with the US mint. Look to Canada for the better deals. Sad!

MyUSMint is one step above worthless, it is NOT a mobile optimized application but a poorly executed web portal. It takes forever to load then it brings up chat boxes that are bigger than can be displayed on the screen, ie they block your view and the close button is outside of the range of your screen. Did anybody test this thing on a non-plus size phone, ie iPhone 7 or 8?

MyUSMint is so full of bugs, it is useless. It crashes the second I tap the menu button on top and it ALWAYS asks me to pick and arrange the home page icons. Can’t it remember my settings? MyUSMint has a desperate need for an update. Maybe sometime after the gov shutdown someone can take a look at this...

App usually works ok. Past two days it will not place item in cart. I am getting a "check internet connection" error.

Please update the operability of the general functions. Account settings are continually unavailable (ie PayPal), some fields do not pre-populate even when the user has only provided one option. Hoping for an updated App soon.

From home screen on I Phone it would be nice to click on the same menu that’s seen on regular website. VERY difficult to find links to all products.

I added items to my shopping bag but I was unable to checkout because I cannot view my shopping bag. I had to login using the desktop computer in order to checkout.

I thought it was cool the US Mint had an app, but was a disappointment once I installed it. For starters, the My Orders button does nothing. I have a Mint account, but nowhere can I see how to login to it. Would love it if MyUSMint did something. I would order from it if I could!

I had hoped MyUSMint would be helpful educating users on the history of the coinage and allow the coin purchaser a good resource in buying coinage from the mint. Instead, MyUSMint seems to be a placeholder for a better program. The mint's website is better than this.

Hey at least it's an app, and presumably order tracking works here. But if you're looking at items, it just opens the page in Safari, which kinda defeats the point of having an app.

The U.S. mint app is long overdue, but for a good reason. MyUSMint allows you to buy mint products, learn more about history, and track your orders. Super smooth and easy to use.

I just downloaded the US mint mobile app and made a purchase. I ordered the great Sand dunes national Park three coin set. I am visiting there next month and hope that the Drive from Texas to Colorado takes less time than the check out process.
