About ElsterSmart
What is ElsterSmart?
ElsterSmart is an application that allows users to import their certificate file from Mein ELSTER, which is used for login or submission of tax forms, into their smartphone. This eliminates the need for the certificate file on the PC and allows users to access Mein ELSTER from anywhere. Impossible to upload certificate
It’s a shame Germany is lagging so far behind when it comes to digital government. ElsterSmart does not have any functionality as the login does not allow to upload the required certificate

funktioniert mit Mac und iPad!
Der einzige Haken könnte sein, dass man nicht weiß, wo die Zertifikationsdatei liegt. Lässt sich aber über Spotlight (Mac) leicht finden. Bei iOS-Geräten kann man die Datei vom Mac per Drag and Drop direkt in das Dokumente-Fenster ziehen. Danach nur den Angaben folgen!
