I am grateful for this service because I was not in the position to pay the amount of money urgent care or ER centers charge for out of pocket care. I don’t have insurance and my symptoms were getting worse. For help with common illnesses that are non life threatening and are clear to see, I think this service is perfect and cost effective for people such as myself who want help but can’t afford high priced centers. And the process is easy and smooth. Thank you MED STAR!

This is sincerely a great idea, but MedStareVisit is flawed. I saw a doctor and they stated they were going to call in two prescriptions for me; however I only received one. Because the doctor never completed and sent me a visit summary I can’t send her a message to ask about it. There is also no link for customer support even though the bottom of the FAQs state to contact customer support for other issues. Now I don’t have medicine, I can’t reach the provider, and I haven’t been able to contact customer support. It’s an excellent idea as I am way to sick to get to a doctors office, but there isn’t a way to correct errors.

I could not get in to my PCP on a Friday afternoon and didn’t want to head in to the weekend with my current symptoms. I had been to a Medstar Urgent Care before and downloaded MedStareVisit for the E visit. I went through the process, answering medical info, and waited 15 mins and then was seen by a very nice physician who was easy to deal with, had great bedside manner (virtually), and seemed quite knowledgeable and was able to help me right away.

I was able to stay home so o felt very safe. I did not have to worry about getting a baby sitter and I was still able to get some work done around the house while waiting for the provider. My eVisit was quick and easy. My provider seemed very knowledgeable and nice. I would definitely use this again for the convenience and safety during this pandemic.

So glad I utilized this option today! I know with everyone running to the urgent cares for COVID19 testing I would have been there forever. And also eliminated risk of coming in contact with others who are much more sick. Also my provider was very pleasant and I did not feel rushed. I would recommend this option to anyone with a minor ailment to utilize this feature !

Great visit, easy to enroll and take the video call. I wish there was an option to long in when your appointment is ready. I sat on the phone for an hour waiting for my turn. It shows how many patients are ahead of you, it would be nice if this wait process was streamlined a bit better.

Dr McDonald was very nice and asked good questions and offered us good suggestions on how to proceed with some problems we are having with health coverage. Thank you for having this service as I do not feel comfortable going to the emergency room with her right now due to the coronavirus. Thank you for your time Dr. McDonald, it was a pleasure and much appreciated.

Consistently not connecting - 2 hours being transferred from “waiting room” to “waiting room” as “the next to be seen”, only to have MedStareVisit , or program (tried app, as the web application wasn’t working either) stall at “you are next to be seen” within 15-20 minutes - then nothing. It seems their claim that you see a provider “in minutes”, is loosely defined. It’s a wonderful service they (MedStar) are providing, but e-visit app and online has been executed poorly. I only made it through by finally calling the customer service number.

My online visit with Dr. Asia McDonald was wonderful. She was very patient, caring and listened intently. Thank you Dr. McDonald for your time and attention.

Also thank you to all the front line personnel who put yourselves at risk for us. Words could never truly express how much I and my family greatly appreciate your dedication and commitment!! May God continue to bless and keep you all!!

I don’t have health insurance because as a single mom, I can’t afford it. Every time I would get sick with a sinus infection, ear infection, streptococcus (strep throat) or pink eye, I’d have to run to the emergency and pay a payment plan to pay off the $300+ bill for the one visit. Now, i can spend $50 and do this while I’m at work on my lunch break, saving me time and money! This is the best thing ever!

I highly recommend MedStar evisit. This was my first experience with a virtual physicians visit. It was fairly easy and quick to set up. The wait time wasn’t very long. And the doctor was very knowledgeable and pleasant. And all from the convenience of my home

My husband is out of town for work and I am home with two little ones. I knew I had a UTI and did not want to have to go to an urgent care with the kids. This is was fast, simple and easy. Now all I have to do is just pick up my prescription. Thank you!

Dr. Katie Edwards shows me she care & actually providing solutions to make me feel better. I wish I could make her my primary care doctor.
Overall this is way better than the actual hospital. I feel hospitals don’t care or take your health serious so I don’t go.

I have had a sinus infection for 3 days. Doc said to wait until 10 days have passed, and what to do at home. From the comfort of my home. Safe, no unnecessary exposure to a walk-in clinic. We are seniors. If I had just needed a script, it would have been called in.
I love telemedicine visits for routine matters.

This was my first virtual doctor’s appointment for medical care. I was very pleased with how easy it was to set up an account and to see a physician immediately. Dr. Brandon Soule had a big welcoming smile and was so kind, knowledgeable and helpful. I will definitely be using this service again.

My provider took his time answering my questions and reviewing my medical history. He was very professional, thorough, and knowledgeable. The entire process was much easier than I thought it would be. I highly recommend the service to anyone in need.

Before doing the e visit...I went to several physicians to get answers for my issue. Dr. Nicole Lee addressed my issues very well, was very pleasant, compassionate, and knowledgeable. Also, I was able to do this from the comfort of my home. I think you all have something with the e visit. But even more with great doctors like Nicole Lee. You need more like her.

So awesome to be able to have a quick visit online for things that really shouldn’t take half a day getting to and waiting at an urgent care! Especially for those times when the weather is crap, etc. It worked great for getting meds for a sinus infection on a Sunday in middle of a snow storm. This is GREAT.

This is the first time that I’ve used a virtual visit. I found experience extremely smooth easy to use and the doctor that I met on the other side was knowledgeable and friendly I will definitely make more use of virtual visits in the future

I am very glad to have been able to have the visit online since covid this is all that’s being talked about but people have other medical issues that need to be addressed I am just glad to be able to do it online

The application crashes constantly. I was starting an appointment and it crashed while I was just waiting. No place for feedback in MedStareVisit that I can see. I use iPhone 8 256 Gb of memory. Latest os and updates. Disappointing as I had to figure out if I was going to charged for the crashed visit. There is also no way to renter an appointment that MedStareVisit crashed on.

I like this MedStar service. Having access to a medical professional from anywhere is great. The waiting time is long and can be worked on.

The provider are extremely knowledgeable and helped me out tremendously with my problem without a long wait and the comfort of my own home

Every time I use eVisit, I have a great experience. It’s a fantastic way to get the piece of mind you need right away, and the guidance you need to make decisions on your health. I highly recommend eVisit!
