There are a few things you must do and know before canceling subscriptions. They are:

  1. Check the Terms, Service policy or Privacy policy of NatureID to know if they support self-serve subscription cancellation or account deletion:
  2. Once you subscribe to a plan and you don't cancel it manually like you subscribed, that plan will renew automatically because you gave the permission.
  3. When you subscribe for a trial period and then you cancel, you run the risk of losing that trial content altogether.
  4. You must remember to manually cancel a subscription 24 hours before the trial period ends.

How to Cancel NatureID: Plant Identification Subscription on your iPhone or iPad.

  1. First, open the settings app and tap on your name.
  2. Then, tap on the "Subscriptions" tab.
    (Note that you might not automatically see this tab. In that case, tap on iTunes & Appstore)
  3. Next, tap on your Apple ID. View Apple ID then sign in and scroll down to the "Subscriptions" button.
  4. Next, tap on NatureID (subscription) you want to review.
  5. Now, Tap on Cancel.
    (Note that if you don't see a "Cancel Subscription" button for NatureID: Plant Identification, then it's definitely canceled already. It won't be renewed anymore).




How to Cancel NatureID: Plant Identification Subscription on your Android device

To cancel NatureID subscription on Android, you need to realize that deleting the NatureID app alone won't cut it. Follow the steps below:

  1. First, open the Google Play Store. If you have multiple Google accounts, be sure you're signed into the right one.
  2. Click on menu, then go to "Subscriptions".
  3. Choose the NatureID: Plant Identification subscription you wish to cancel and tap on the "Cancel Subscription" option.
  4. Finish up as directed.

Once your NatureID subscription has been removed from Google Play, your future subscriptions will be cancelled and won't be renewed anymore.



How do I remove my Card from NatureID?

Removing card details from NatureID if you subscribed directly is very tricky. Very few websites allow you to remove your card details. So you will have to make do with some few tricks before and after subscribing on websites in the future.

Before Signing up or Subscribing:

  1. Create an account on Justuseapp. signup here →
  2. Create upto 4 Virtual Debit Cards - this will act as a VPN for you bank account and prevent apps like NatureID from billing you to eternity.
  3. Fund your Justuseapp Cards using your real card.
  4. Signup on NatureID: Plant Identification or any other website using your Justuseapp card.
  5. Cancel the NatureID subscription directly from your Justuseapp dashboard.

After Signing Up:

  1. If you didn't use a Justuseapp Card when you subscribed, your only option is to contact NatureID directly. Get their Contact info →



How to Cancel NatureID: Plant Identification Subscription on a Mac computer.

To cancel NatureID subscription on your Mac, do the following:


  1. First open the Mac App Store, then click on your name at the bottom of the sidebar.
  2. Click on the "View Information" tab at the top of the window and sign in if asked to do so.
  3. Scroll down on the next page shown to you until you see the "Subscriptions" tab then click on "Manage".
  4. Click "Edit" beside the NatureID: Plant Identification app and then click on "Cancel Subscription".

Note: Always make sure to use the exact username and ID you used to set up the subscription to manage that subscription when necessary. This is sometimes different from the Apple ID or Android brand ID you have set up.

If you don't remember your password however, contact the App for help/to reset password.


How to Cancel NatureID: Plant Identification Subscription on Paypal.

To cancel your NatureID subscription on PayPal, do the following:

  1. First log into your PayPal account at www.paypal.com .
  2. Click on the settings tab which is beside the logout option.
  3. Press "Payments" from the menu provided to you and click on "Manage Automatic Payments" in the Automatic Payments dashboard.
  4. You'll be shown a series of merchants' agreement you've transacted before. Click on "NatureID: Plant Identification" or "Freeplay Inc" to cancel.
  5. You will be shown a confirmation page. Click on the "Cancel Automatic Payments" tab to affirm that you want to stop making payments to NatureID: Plant Identification.
  6. Then click "Done" on the verification page to complete the unsubscription.




What to do if you subscribed directly on NatureID's website?

Here's how to cancel your NatureID subscription when billed through a payments provider that is not the Appstore, Playstore or Paypal.

Sometimes, you may start a subscription directly on a company's website without using an extra layer of security like Paypal or Apple. To unsubscribe, you might have to sign into NatureID's website or directly reach out to their payments provider.

Generally, here are some steps you can take if you find yourself in that fix:

  1. Finding the company's information, then reach out to them directly: Get all NatureID's contact details here

  2. Visit the website of NatureID. Click to visit .

  3. Login to your account.

  4. In the menu section, look for any of the following: "Billing", "Subscription", "Payment", "Manage account", "Settings".

  5. Click the link, then follow the prompts to cancel your subscription.


How to delete NatureID account

You might have created an account on NatureID during the course of using the app. Many apps make it so easy to signup but a nightmare to delete your account. We try to make it easier but since we don't have information for every app, we can only do our best.


Generally, here are some steps you can take if you need your account deleted:

  1. Reach out directly to NatureID via Justuseapp. Get all Contact details →

  2. Send an email to [email protected] Click to email requesting that they delete your account.

  3. Check NatureID's Privacy/TOS/Support channels below for their Data-deletion/request policy and contact them:

    *Pro-tip: Once you visit any of the links above, Use your browser "Find on page" to find "@". It immediately shows the neccessary emails.

Delete NatureID: Plant Identification from iPhone.

To delete NatureID from your iPhone, Follow these steps:

  1. On your homescreen, Tap and hold NatureID: Plant Identification until it starts shaking.
  2. Once it starts to shake, you'll see an X Mark at the top of the app icon.
  3. Click on that X to delete the NatureID: Plant Identification app from your phone.

Method 2:

Go to Settings and click on General then click on "iPhone Storage". You will then scroll down to see the list of all the apps installed on your iPhone. Tap on the app you want to uninstall and delete the app.

For iOS 11 and above:

Go into your Settings and click on "General" and then click on iPhone Storage. You will see the option "Offload Unused Apps". Right next to it is the "Enable" option. Click on the "Enable" option and this will offload the apps that you don't use.


Delete NatureID: Plant Identification from Android

  1. First open the Google Play app, then press the hamburger menu icon on the top left corner.
  2. After doing these, go to "My Apps and Games" option, then go to the "Installed" option.
  3. You'll see a list of all your installed apps on your phone.
  4. Now choose NatureID: Plant Identification, then click on "uninstall".
  5. Also you can specifically search for the app you want to uninstall by searching for that app in the search bar then select and uninstall.

    I made the mistake of signing up for the free trial, and unlike others, I didn't cancel before the 7 days....I'm still going to try to get a refund!!! Charging people who cancelled before the 7 days trial!!!!!...your app is a scam!!!!! It may be a good app but those charges are too hefty....and you can't operate like that!!!!! If you have a good app, then conducting your business is an honest way will bring you success. The more people who get in touch with Apple, the better the chances of stopping this practice!!     I was wrongfully charged for the 60 USD Premium a year after I accepted to the 9.99 USD that was offered after I cancelled. I accepted 9.99 USD because it sounded reasonable but today after the free trial they charged me the original amount which is a deal breaker for me. I would please like a refund on this, it’s a lot of cash I’m not willing to spend.

Hello, I thought I could end the Abonnement of the app NatureID before the free 3 day trial end. But then I went to my setting > my name > Abonnements. First time I’ve tried it I couldn’t see the app in there. Second time I saw it there, tapped on it and after scrolling to the very top I just canceled my Abonnement before paying anything.     Free Trial, cancel anytime you want???

    Not true! I downloaded this app when I needed to identify a plant for a friend. It said 9.99 a month cancel anytime you want. So I thought ok, I’ll keep one month and see how much I actually use it to determine if I cancel it or not...then I got an email confirming my subscription and $60 charge!!! BOOM! I tried asking for a refund from Apple but they refused. I guess I thought it was a monthly charge! I hope I use it but for now I’m a bit upset!

    Stupid expensive

    They are really crazy to try to charge $60 for the apps. Just put on a few ads as the system loads. Let people watch a 10-20 second ad. Then you would make .50 - $1.50 per picture uploaded. Still cant find the exact tree type this is. Some type of oak. Leaf doesn't match any pictures they have listed.
