I have tried numerous times to “verify my account” by providing the amounts charged to my credit card, and their system continuously said that I am entering the wrong amount. When this happened, I tried to talk to customer service to explain the issue and request their assistance. I was basically told that they don’t know why that was happening and that I must be entering the wrong amount. They took no ownership that perhaps there was an issue on their end, or try to provide me an alternate solution to the issue I was facing. Then the customer service representative told me that the only way I can verify my account now is by providing a picture of myself and a ton of personally identifiable information. I refuse to give any app more information than what is needed. I asked to speak with someone else who could help me like a supervisor, but of course this was their “person in charge”. When asked if they would be able to call me, they did not reply. They lost a customer in me. There are too many similar apps to give business to.

It does not work. I ordered through uber eats and they tell me to download the app so I do, after doing so the accounts wont sink and the agents refuse to acknowledge its the same account. After being hung up on chats ended with half a dozen agents (refusing to answer, just ending the chat)
They refused to help my account. My account was flagged because of another agents incompetence the day before. She accidentally issued my refund as cornershop credits. The next day when i see this mistake I get it fixed on the chat (reversed back to my original payment method), I place my order and think all is well until 5 mins later when i see that my order was canceled and flagged due to this agent. I am then ignored hung up on by customer service for over an hour afterwards….now they wont help with my account refuse to even realize its the same account. Its ridiculous. I also had $24 in promotional/marketing credits that I was made unable to use (false advertsing)
Because of this negligence and mistreatment by the customer service and refusal to correct the issues on my account, this week we are filing suit against Uber Eats and its subsidiary, Cornershop
DO NOT USE CORNERSHOP….use door dash or Grubhub but NOT cornershop!!!
They clearly have a lot of work to do with this new service. It just doesnt work guys. Don’t waste you time. Try an other delivery service

I was quoted $61 (including fees) and actually charged over $110 for my order — incredibly shady business practices!! It took me FOREVER to get any kind of refund and I still ended up paying almost $20 more than quoted - and that’s with one of my larger items being fully refunded because it was not delivered. Cornerstone just claimed it was from “swap outs” or “slight differences in quantities”.... $50 in unapproved swap outs?!!! It was an absolutely nightmare trying to work it out with customer service. To get the $30 refund was near impossible so at that point I just gave up. I don’t know where their high service charge goes but it certainly isn’t being used effectively or worth it. That was my first and absolute last time ever using the service. I order groceries weekly and have never had such a terrible experience.
