Bad parking experience

Confusing process to set up. Couldn’t use the app because the spot was already occupied by my vehicle. Then I went to the station paid an hour and it only gave me 46 min, stating the spot was in use previously? I had been there less than 5 min trying to get the app to work. Then I could not add more time on the meter and the app says I have no active session. Really frustrating, and really hoping I don’t get a ticket. I’ll be talking to the city next on why they purchased this new system! ParkMobile worked great. This seems buggy, expensive, and not intuitive.

Poorly developed app, company sells user data

Check the privacy policy. Company claims they own all the data collected using their hardware and software (including this app) and that they “share” data with advertisers. Can’t believe our city sold our data, plus half the parking fees revenue, to this company. Our city claims they own all the data collected by this system, so either they are lying or they got duped.

Even after all the money we’re giving them, the company still can’t develop a decent app.

Got a ticket because of the app!

The app kept telling me that the space I was using already had an active session and wouldn’t let me create a new one with my car. I ended up getting a ticket 5 minutes after parking 😡

I now have $10 stuck in my account that I don’t plan to use because I’m not coming back and risking another ticket. I’m going to have quarters on hand for Royal Oak moving forward.

The user interface is crappy and ugly as well.
