First of all, it was nearly impossible to create an account. It wouldn’t let me type in a password, and I tried two different devices. I finally typed a password in a different app, copied and pasted it in to get it to work. It kept selecting the current date for a birthdate and wouldn’t let me change it—I kept having to get the device to select the date and then cut it, but still took several minutes of selecting and cutting and trying just enter a simple date before I got it to work. Once you get in PlaySight , it won’t let you scroll and select the appropriate field, you just have to look through all of the videos on the selected dates. I purchased three, and It seems to have five pending charges—I purchased two with what appeared to be no issues, then a third said there was a problem, to try again in a few minutes. I did, and it appeared to purchase correctly but I’m guessing that’s the fourth charge. No idea why the fifth charge. I’m hoping the extra charge s will drop off. I’ve been looking for over 20 minutes and can’t find a way to download video to my device—because it’s unbelievably slow to just watch so I was hoping that might ultimately be faster. I shudder to think how difficult it’s likely to be if you want to create a video clip or do anything else based on experiences thus far. I’m hoping using a computer might be easier than PlaySight , but who knows?

My son is a college baseball player and every year they start off in Myrtle Beach, at the Cal Ripken facilities… These are serviced by Playsite. Every year I get more and more aggravated by stuttering and stopped video, connection issues ( on their end, I am on a gigabit connection here and everything else is fine) They charge $$20 for a week long pass of virtually unwatchable video. There is a link to contact them if you have issues, but My son is now a Senior, and they still have not answered me back from customer service from the last few seasons, all of which were just as bad… I think we would have a better and more timely idea about the game if they took individual photographs and mailed them individually via the post office…
Wait is there a way to give ZERO stars?

Love the recording of tennis practices and data it provides. The limitation is in the editing. If you could simply import to iMovie or other and not edit in PlaySight it would be perfect. Too much of a hassle to create ‘clips’ in PlaySight .

My favorite features on the this app app are the ability to create highlight clips, and the ability to voice-over/draw over videos. PlaySight allows me to share the highlights and edited clips out in text or on social media. I also really like the zoom and frame by frame features on the video. Having all of my videos and edited clips in one place makes it really easy to stay organized as well.

As an athlete I love to look at my video after sessions and check out my stats. I’m able to do this easily on the go and I’m also able to creat clips, highlighting specific things from practice sessions and matches. Having video, stats, and editing tools at my finger tips has allowed me to really focus on certain aspects of my game for development. PlaySight is great I absolutely love it!

PlaySight needs a serious overhaul. I’m not sure how it could be so behind the times. 99% of scores are not accurate and the clock time never changes. I have contacted several times and they’ve never done a thing about it. Plus, takes your money only to say there are no live games. Not sure, but I’m convinced that throwing my money out the window would have been less painful than the 35 minutes I spent trying to get it to work. Really, I think they owe me.

Loving the ability to make some quick edits off of instant replay during practices. The new camera feature makes it really easy to flip back and forth between angles. Need the ability to trim down full length games to be easier.

My kids love using PlaySight after their games. They go in to cut and edit all their highlights and great shots. Highly recommended for anyone who is lucky enough to have this app at their school or tournament games.

The idea of this is fantastic when families can’t travel to see kids play. But until they deal with service streaming service issues, it’s a waste of any money. Certain fields (ie: Mansfield, Tx) require subscriptions. Purchased a week and can barely tell what’s going on with all the freezing of the video. *Note watching on wired internet, not wireless*

I strongly encourage people not to buy this product! We paid $100 and nothing worked. The staff on site were completely uninformed and consistently said their boss was unavailable. Folks at home were able to see only one half of the court or nothing at all. No live help chat, nothing. Very poor product, service.

App on iPad Pro crashes trying to stream live tennis match. Android version works fine.

PlaySight is amazing! I can watch events from anywhere and as a coach, even tap into instant replay on site and play back video in real time with my athletes.

Pay $400 per month for a system that does not work. They are good at taking your money but not backing it up the system that breaks down then it is worthless. However, they will take your $400 a month even though the system is junked.

I paid $19 to watch a game. The color of everything was pink and the little scoreboard in the left corner was running but it was for a completely different game. Way too much money for a pathetic product!

If I could give a zero I would. Absolutely unwatchable. I have the fastest xfinity they offer. I swear this app is using dial up still. Most frustrating game I ever attempted to watch

App is requiring me to do an update. So I do that then it still says I need update making access to PlaySight or to my recordings impossible. Very frustrating.

I spent the $9.99 one time fee to watch my grandson‘s game. It played for a few seconds and then it stopped. I basically didn’t see one batter complete there at bat.

Got this to watch grand daughter basketball tournament. No livestream came up. Emailed this app they said they are not responsible the event site is. I wouldn’t recommend this

I’m not creating yet another account with yet another self-centered app just to access a live stream.

Little little to cumbersome and the setup here was horrible- never got to record.

This has the potential to be a great tool, but what I really don’t like at all is that editing and cropping the videos is not an option. Creating a clip by having to go through a full live recording of a recording just does not make any sense. Yes, I could probably put it into my library and crop/trim it there, but then I wouldn’t be able to bring that version back into this app.
And I wouldn’t have to do any of this if my session recording was from when I actually scanned into the court, which is how I thought this worked. Instead, I got an hour + before I joined the court and another after I exited the session using PlaySight . I’d appreciate any help.

Did not work. Missed performance

This is the absolute worst app I have ever used.

PlaySight is great! I can watch the video, share my highlights with my friends, and track my data and analytics over time from any of my SmartCourt sessions.
this app was the first time I ever saw myself play sports with HD cameras and video - just like the top pros. It is much easier to improve when I can see exactly what I am doing wrong and right. And PlaySight lets me do that from the road or anywhere in the world - and not just on the court.

I am a USPTA Tennis Teaching Pro. My club has the Play Sight system. Please make an iPad Pro version!
I installed the latest update. I still don't really like PlaySight. I use PlaySight called Coaches Eye. Coaches Eye is a much better app. Some people might like this interface that shows all their stats, etc. But as I stated before this info just clogs up the screen. I need a clean screen where I can just view the video. That's it. With a scroll Wheel at the bottom. The Scroll Wheel in PlaySight is a little clunky it does not spin as freely as in other apps so it is hard to use. I would like to be able to download the video so I can use the video in Coaches Eye.

Lets see how much this great tech grows in the future.

We paid $9.99 for one week of viewing. For starters the live streaming glitched constantly & had to be refreshed over & over & over...This is the most frustrating experience I have ever had trying to live stream a volleyball tournament. Missed so much of each set/match while refreshing. And this is the first time we have ever had to pay!!! 😡😡😡 So far have not been able to watch any of the volleyball tournament matches on demand. They won’t load. If you are charging for a service, it should at least work!!!
