Seems like at some point , the all got updated and does not allow you to use your password manager or paste a password in. I’ve given up on logging in

Lot damaged my car and denies responsibility. I pay Dropcar but they claim no responsibility either. Great rate but beware….

After a year, I was informed that my garage was no longer working with DropCar. However DropCarParkingNYC allowed the garage to be rebooked the day before the year was over. My card was charged. I had to make an appointment with drop car customer service to have them call me (customer service is very hard to get BTW). The rep got defensive, telling me that they no longer work with my garage and they booked it as a “glitch”. If your app has a glitch, it isn’t really MY fault. You’d think after a year, they would maybe do something about it. Alas, no. So now, I have to find a new garage, tonight. Certainly not using DropCar. Bait and switch. Bad service.

We used DropCar for a few months because the price point was just perfect; a Manhattan garage would have been double plus the convenience of having someone pick up and drop off your car when you have two little ones under 5 is priceless! The valets, while generally courteous, were routinely late and wouldn't really tell us until well they were already late.

And so as the old adage goes "you get what you pay for" and we did! In late October, we summoned for our car. About an hour later we got a call from the office saying the valet had gotten into an accident with our car. We asked first if the valet was ok and he was and then asked about the state of our car. The receptionist had little information to give and expected us to wait until Monday for more! Bottomline? That was the beginning of a hellish experience where our insurance was charged for the accident and DropCar suffered zero liability. We also required thousands in repair work they said they would reimburse us at 100 percent and three months and multiple calls later we were reimbursed for 80 percent. We are so tired of dealing with Drop Car. So buyer beware - if it sounds to good to be true IT IS!!

I really want to like this service, I signed up 3 months ago and I have to say, more than half the time DropCarParkingNYC either does not allow me to log in or the drivers don't show up or are at least an hour late and calling the support line just leads me to voicemail which I don't hear back until at least a day after. It has been more than frustrating and expensive with additional parking tickets and parking garage costs as a result of the failed services they promise but fail to deliver on.

I use my car mainly on weekends, so if you are thinking about using this service during weekends, you best not schedule any pick up or drop off times at peak volume times (Friday after work or Sunday evening) cause they are not scaled for volume and will drop the ball. If wait time is not a problem then this could be a service for you but there are numerous times I scheduled a late Sunday pickup and they just simply do not even show up.

I'm hoping with more time they will be able to catch up with resourcing and the issue with unreliability and lack of support will improve.

I have been a monthly subscriber for close to a month now in NYC. Pricing for the monthly parking and services are great, but Drop car still needs to figure out a better way of getting their valet to the scheduled pick up and drop offs on time. Most pick ups and drop offs, the valet came 30min to an hour later than scheduled, literally calling me 15 min prior to an appt saying that they will be later than expected. Also, DropCarParkingNYC is not very accurate on where the valet is. Valets are all very polite and nice, but the scheduling service really needs to be on time. Otherwise the frustration of waiting for the valet may make people think twice about using their services again.

Getting started is a little confusing, especially if you try to book on the weekend It’s impossible to get an issue addressed quickly. Their phone number goes directly to voicemail. If you have an issue on the weekend, they’re not getting back to you until Monday via email. The fact that a certain garage requires me to print out paperwork was not explained before booking the parking space. All this could be cleared up with a 5 min phone call. Giving them another try…

If you use your car at peak commuting times, this service is not for you. DC can't seem to handle crunch times. My 8am drop is 90 min late, which I should have anticipated by getting my car the night before and parking on the street or a lot. If you drive at off times and not often, this service works. Drivers have been very nice. While I usually can't get customer service on the phone, I was impressed they handled paying a red light ticket while the car was in there possession very quickly recently. And forget getting your car Friday afternoons during the summer.

DropCar is a great idea and it was really wonderful for the first month. I can drive into the city to my building and the DropCar valet would be there and usually 15 minutes early. Same with bringing the car to me and the valets are all very polite and professional.

A few weeks back we started running into problems. On a Friday night, which I understand is the rush hour when everyone wants their car, the valet was almost 2 hours late due to a "server crash". Was informed via text that it would probably be another 30-60 minutes. I did call and the rep was nice and I understand that things happen, but I have seen other reviews with the same problem of the server crashing as well. This need to be fixed if its a recurring problem.

When the car did arrive, was told by the valet that the new guys weren't following the parking procedures and this was why it was an additional hour to get my car. Valet suggested I get a keychain FOB so they could find it easier next time instead of taking ownership of DropCar valets losing my car in their garage by not following their own parking procedures.

Just last night the valet was 15 minutes late. Schedule for to meet my wife for pickup at 10:45 and didn't show up until 11:00pm.

Overall, I am still a fan of the concept and service. I have hopes that they straigten things out operationally. When things are going well, it is a great convenience and the cost can't be beat.

I've been a customer of valet parking services in NYC for a couple years and DropCar is a great service, if it meets your needs. I only use the "Steve" service which parks my car in a garage in the city and returns it when I need it. It does require some planning to schedule my pickups and returns, which would be the case for every company offering this service.

I'd say that my car is returned to me about 70% on time, which really isn't that bad considering the unpredictability of NYC traffic. So, it does require some patience here and there. When you compare this to the price of a garage in my neighborhood, it still makes it worth it.

I had an issue when I ordered to have my car washed and it wasn't on 2 separate occasions. Customer service was able to resolve the issue though.

DropCarParkingNYC itself is easy to use and better than other companies I've used.

DropCarParkingNYC takes care of the bare necessities of the service, but there are several areas for improvement. The first is that DropCarParkingNYC is often quite delayed in the status that it shares on where the driver is with your car. It also routinely does not allow you to select the valet now or upon arrival options, forcing you to schedule for a time that can 2+ hours away and needing to find alternative parking during that time period. Lastly, while the airport service that dropcar offers is amazing, the option should be built straight into DropCarParkingNYC to avoid having issues around the valet now option not being available.

This is an amazing service. I use the monthly "Steve" service and have been incredibly impressed. The drivers have been exemplary; both courteous and uniquely professional. The customer service has also been equally phenomenal and the only thing I regret is not having found the company/service sooner! Rather than the $800/month garage near my building in NYC, $350 has been an enormous cost savings without any compromise. While I was originally concerned that because DropCar is app based, it would be plagued by the pitfalls or glitches that apps such as Uber have, or that supply and demand would be impossible to forecast, I'd be left stranded; but, that could not have been further from my experience. I love this service and highly recommend it!

I tried out Dropcar not knowing a whole lot about the company but needed a place to park my new car.

After downloading DropCarParkingNYC and subscribing to the monthly parking option, I requested my first pickup.

Peter from Dropcar gave me a call to confirm my location and give me a time estimate. A few minutes later he arrived on his scooter. I left the keys with him and went to work.

I loved being able to track the location of my car as he took it to a nearby parking deck.

When I needed my car for a trip, I just requested that my car be dropped off at my location and the valet brought it to my doorstep. I would recommend this service to anyone with a car in New York!

The one thing I'd change is that the time estimate for your car to be returned to you is calculated by the time it would take the valet to walk/scooter to the deck your car is in. If they take the subway the time will only be a fraction of the estimate.

No affiliation to Dropcar. Just a very appreciative customer.

I am a monthly service customer, and I couldn't be happier! On top of having someone pick up my car, park it, and then return it to me at the click of a button, it's ONLY $299/MONTH - amazing! Most garages in my neighborhood are upwards of $500 and no one is bringing me my car! Yes, there are some kinks to work out on DropCarParkingNYC but the company literally launched a month ago: that is to be expected. If you do have app issues email them
And they literally respond within a few minutes. Customer service is exceptional and they go out of their way to accommodate the customer. This is a fantastic company!

I loved this experience.

I had a couple of midday meetings in midtown, so I figured I'd drive into the city rather than rely on off peak mass transit. I've used LUXE several times, but their app isn't active anymore. I took the chance and downloaded Dropcar.

My valet, Joanne, was prompt & courteous. My first meeting ran over by about an hour & I thought I'd be late for my next one. She told me she'd drive me to my next meeting & wait for me there. Music to my ears!!

As midday midtown traffic is crazy, I got out & walked the last couple of blocks so I wouldn't be late. She sent me texts of where she'd be waiting outside of the building. That meeting ran over an additional hour as well, but when I went outside, there was Joanne waiting for me in my car.

This experience deserves to be described simply as "awesome". I will be using this service many, MANY more times in the years to come!!

We were out of town when the city shut down our parking garage with no notice - following the collapse of a garage from the same owner a few weeks ago. Without us having to do anything, dropcar arranged a new spot for us a few blocks up the street and sent e-mail confirmation and called us to make sure we knew about the arrangements. Afterwards they called to follow up with longer term options. Very proactive, I did not expect it

I've been a DropCar customer for ~10 months and am a huge fan. The monthly parking service is the best value in town, not to mention one of the most convenient. I've do me the valets to be very professional, and most of the time, very punctual. The customer service level has improved during the ~10 months that I've been a customer. I would highly recommend DropCar to anyone who is looking for a great and convenient parking option for half the cost of most Manhattan parking garages.

Years ago (like 20) I worked at a car dealership (customer service and answering phones) as my high school job. So I know all the stuff, good and bad. And I don’t have anything to say, other than I just CANNOT imagine spending hours of my life at a dealership leasing a car. Won’t ever happen. In the past (after working at the dealership) when I encountered the necessary evil of a car purchase/lease I would only deal with internet salespeople/email negotiation and just show up to sign papers and drive away the car. And that was still more than enough. So to my delight and surprise and forever gratitude, after more than 8 years of Manhattan life with no car, when we were ready to get back in the game I used DropCarParkingNYC for a car lease and it was beyond great. Can’t say enough good things. If you are price sensitive to the last $10 a month or have bad credit or need to order a special vehicle or have another special situation, this probably isn’t for you. But if you are like me and know what car you want, have good credit and just want a no-hassle expedience, this is the best thing that ever happened to car leasing. Seriously amazing.

We used this service (the "Will" daily service) for the first time today and it was fantastic. We were going into Manhattan to catch a broadway show and shop, we pulled right up to the theater, met our valet, hopped out of the car and enjoyed the show while he waited in our car a short distance away. When the show ended we texted the driver and he came right over and picked us up. He then drove us to shopping, waited for us in the car and when we were done we hopped in and he left. All this for $15 an hour, or $45 for our 3 hour trip. We had a $20 referral sign-up credit so the cost was less than a garage and we didn't have the hassle of parking and retrieving the car from the lot. We also didn't have to walk to shop. We would definitely use again and would recommend for business meetings in the city as well as weekend visits. They also offer a monthly parking service for city residents who want a cheaper monthly parking option and delivery of their car to/from their homes, but we didn't try that service. There are a number of add -on services as well...they will wash your car, or fill it with gas, or get it inspected. We didn't use any of those services but did enjoy the free mints!
