CW Seed Reviews

CWSeed is pretty good for watching shows that can be found on the tv channels, but there’s a few glitches that bother me.
The ads are fine in my opinion, I mean like how else they gonna keep CWSeed free, right?
But these glitches make it so I can’t even watch what I want to. I was in the middle of watching, and the ads come on, like they always do, and I paused it for a minute to go do something, I come back and my iPad screen had turned off, so I turned it back on and when I tried to unpause it, it unpaused for like 2 seconds, then the ads stopped playing and the screen went black. I could tap the screen and the buttons would come up, play/pause, done etc, but when I tried to make it play it wouldn’t. I tried countless times, restarting CWSeed , waiting some, resetting where I was, rewatching the episode until that set of ads, nothing has worked. Every time I got to that particular set of ads, CWSeed just seemed to stop working completely, and crash.
Another one is sometimes, if I pause or go out of CWSeed during the ads, when I come back the play button doesn’t work, however, just restarting CWSeed fixes this one.

If this is fixed, or I find a fix for this issue, I’ll edit this. However for now staying with 3 stars at the moment.

I enjoy CWSeed because I really wanted to watch all the seasons of Whose Line is it Anyways.

There are "commercial" (ads) breaks as if you're watching a program on tv. That might be how they pay for CWSeed in keeping it running. Not sure! As long as you remember the season you are in, it'll show you where you left off last from the specific season that you choose.

I would say that I am glad I can watch the show here, but I really don't like that it glitches often. I'll watch something and then pause and it'll say stream error. Sometimes I can't go back or even watch the episode because there is an upload problem. ((I also came back to edit this review because I have been looking for the the "TAPIOCAAAAA!" clip for a while now and thought I was on the right episode. Apparently CWceed has a list of missing episodes.
This is just an F Y I !))

If those problems would be fixed I'd give it a 5star!

What in the fresh h e double hockey sticks did you guys do to CWSeed? The new design is atrocious and doesn’t even work! The look is simplistic, not streamlined, and looks far worse and less professional than the former design. It doesn’t work in landscape mode, at least not while you’re in the menu stage, which is a baffling choice. Choosing seasons is not intuitive. There’s no air dates next to the episodes which is frustrating when you’re trying to figure out where you left off or which is a brand new episode. BEST OF ALL CWSeed RESET EVERY FRICKING EPISODE SO THAT YOU CAN’T RESUME EPISODES IF YOU STARTED THEM ON THE OTHER VERSION OR KNOW WHICH EPISODES YOU ALREADY WATCHED.

Oh joy! I TRIED to watch an episode and it crashed at the first commercial break and now it crashes every time I reopen CWSeed and try to resume. Awesome work on CWSeed you guys.

Get it together CW and please just chalk this up to a bad design and revert back to the perfectly functional and aesthetically pleasing old design.

Can’t complain because I get my favorite shows which are current for free! Even the ones I missed in the past I get to watch for free! There may be a glitch sometimes but all I do is go out CWSeed and get back on my show. I can’t wait until I can get CWSeed on my Samsung smart tv. Been trying to cast it but no luck so I’ve been watching CWSeed on my laptop and iPhone. I can cast the show to my Vizio smart tv but it’s in my living room and I let my kids watch their shows on there. But as I say CWSeed for me is great! There may be a glitch or two but nothing you can’t work around.

Alright, I was a big fan of CWSeed a few months ago. I used it a lot and loved that I could watch great shows for free. But with this most recent update, I can no longer watch ANYTHING as the shows will not load. When I go to watch something it displays a loading screen for about 30 seconds and then an alert pops up that the “playback has stalled out”. I’ve tried every single show, multiple times and it happens every single time, rendering CWSeed completely useless. No, there is no problem with my network connection. It’s CWSeed . I’m not complaining about the design or anything. I’m asking simply that you please make CWSeed actually do the simple task it claims to do. Hope to see it fixed soon so I can go back to enjoying your great shows.

CW back In The game! I grew up watching CW because we couldn’t afford cable.
The only reason I return to CW now is 100% due to SAM TRIPOLI and the montauk project. The fact that I can watch it in an app. On demand I assume (I just now downloaded CWSeed ), would be the only other reason. CW would be smart to keep goin down this Tin Foil hat/ conspiracy avenue. Sooo many people are enthralled with conspiracy theories. And even more enraged that people have the Gaul to believe or give time to “ such nonsense “, provides for the best entertainment on the internet and tv right now. Give the people what they want. Anyhow shouts out to the CDubZ for hooking up with SAM TRIPOLI

Okay you fixed some of the old other issues. Thank you, I liked the old version of the CW Seed. You had something for everyone Heroes, Cartoons, Drama etc., etc. and some shows had more than one season. Which made it great to look forward to. Example, I have finished season 1 of “Birds of Prey” How/When can I view season 2 and so on?

I just started watch the first episode of Forever at 13:02 I got an error message “The stream timed out” this usually happens when I try to rewatch a show. I guess I was wrong. This is beginning to be a major bug!!!

I give you two stars, I’ll gladly change this if/when you fix these things. I watch this on my iPhone 6 with iOS 12.1.4.

The CW Seed App just updated. It looks good and CWSeed seems to work better. It has not frozen or crashed as the old version did. Two this to improve!!! 1) while the video is playing I can't check my basic phone information any more! Time? Battery charge? Wifi connection? Previously I could touch the screen and all the info would appear for a second or two. Bring that back.
2). The color/value of the white background looks nice but the episode synopses are light gray and a much smaller font. Light gray on white is not enough contrast. Make it easier to read.

Right, first of all, great selections of shows! Only problem is I can never bloody watch them! I can get part way through the episode, and then it stops working and buffers for hours. I know it’s not the internet, because it’s done it in several other places with different WiFi points. I know it’s not my phone, because it does the same thing on other devices. And the cellular data use makes no difference either. Therefore, I find myself at a loss. I’ve been really enjoying the shows (the parts I can get to at least) but I’m wondering if the effort is worth it.

App would be good if they maintained and FIXED the broken parts. Doesn’t consistently work. I keep trying to play a video, but CWSeed crashes once I click on the video. Looks like it will play, but never loads and crashes. It worked several days ago, so not sure why it’s not now. This normally happens when you stop in the middle of a video and try to resume it later. The video just crashes CWSeed . So if you’re planning on watching something, make sure you reserve time to watch it or keep CWSeed open with the video on pause. Otherwise be prepared to not have access to the video again. I refuse to watch the rest of The Secret Circle until I get thru that one episode.

There is almost nothing on CWSeed that is worth Of today. So far, the only shows I’ve enjoyed on CWSeed are the Blade series and “Saving the Human Race.”

Add some other stuff, because the other CW app barely has anything either. I remember when the second Flash season was coming out, CWSeed had the original 1990’s Flash, and I enjoyed every minute of the Pilot episode. But after a while, you just got rid of it. I never had a chance to finish the rest of the show.

So many great shows have been taken off CWSeed, and it’s really quite sad considering how great it once was. It would be great to see CW put back some of their oldies onto CWSeed.

I was devastated when Forever was cancelled and now I finally have a place where I can rewatch it. CWSeed works mostly fine for me but there is this problem that sometimes happens where the captions won’t line up with what I’m watching. I don’t need the captions but they’re helpful to have and it’s annoying when they’re appearing too soon or too late. Other than that, it’s great. There’s not an incredibly excessive amount of ads and there’s a lot of great shows to watch.

I have has CWSeed for a while but never used it untill now because I say an ad for a show that looked good. I went on CWSeed and started watching. It was fine at first, kind of annoying that everytime I left CWSeed in the middle of an episode he app would be unresponsive when I went back in, but that was an easy fix. Swipe out of CWSeed and then go back in and click continue on the episode. Well around the fourth time it happened in the first episode the first show I started to watch CWSeed crashed and wouldn't let me go into CWSeed . I tried to delete and redownload it but I still can't get into CWSeed . So I don't really know what to do except write this review soooooooo.....

I’m so in love with the free streaming of some old favorites. I seriously use it daily. My biggest issue is that it doesn’t save history or show all of the shows that are on CWSeed . I am hoping for a fix there soon but as for right now, I’m getting to watch for free so I can handle having to remember what episode I am on and search specifically for my shows. Again, I would just really appreciate it being fixed in an upcoming update if possible for the best viewing experience.

Hands down the worst app I’ve ever had to use to watch a show. CWSeed frequently (as in 5+ times in an episode) will skip back, ahead, or start over at the beginning of the episode all together. After starting over multiple times at the beginning when you’re 40 minutes into a show, it makes sitting through all the repetitive commercials that much more unbearable.
If you are casting it via a chrome cast, expect CWSeed to stop your show or close CWSeed altogether - it’s SO fun.
CWSeed was *barely* worth the torture of using it to be able to watch 2 seasons of Pushing Daisies.
I will not keep CWSeed around to waste my time.
