I have to wonder if TP&W has any idea of how many long time subscribers they lose when the put out a digital edition that is this poorly designed.
I’m an older reader, and have been moving away from the hard copy versions of the periodicals I read. There have been a number I’ve stopped reading because of TXParksWildlifemagazine design was so poor, and I’ve not gone back to the paper version. The reason? Simply put, those apps did not have an intuitive interface. There are better things to do with my time than figure out where the developers put all the Easter Eggs required to utilize TXParksWildlifemagazine ! To be clear, I subscribe to a number of periodical e-editions that work just fine. I’m not a newbie at using this medium.
The first hint of a problem was trying to log into TXParksWildlifemagazine . I subscribed on the TP&W website. I had to find the answer to where the subscriber login was by reading the reviews for TXParksWildlifemagazine! Are you folks dense, or what? Provide instruction in TXParksWildlifemagazine , or on your website! Don’t make people look for it!
Unlike a lot of folks, I pay for my content. I realize the value it provides costs money to produce. When I get an app that is this difficult to navigate, I wonder why I bother. TP&W, get this fixed please. I bought an annual subscription. If the problems aren’t resolved in the next few issues, I will delete TXParksWildlifemagazine and will turn off any auto-renew and will not subscribe again. As a Texas resident and taxpayer, if tax money was used to produce TXParksWildlifemagazine, you have wasted it!
Amendment: After reading through all of the reviews, it is clear that TP&W is non-responsive to the feedback. I should have read the reviews before obtaining the subscription. You won’t get my money again, TP&W!
