This is one of my favorite music creation apps to play with. I don’t have a trained musical background and I’m always impressed how natural this program feels to me. I like to play with DJ equipment and have for years. I did DJ a little bit when I was younger and I experiment a lot. I’m not a professional DJ, but I’ve definitely been playing around with music my whole life. I have made a few songs with PlayGroundOrganicRemix and I’m always surprised and impressed with what I’m able to create. I also love that you can record things that you make and share them easily. Even just the free app is worth playing with. Anyway, PlayGroundOrganicRemix really is an amazing invention and creation.

Tons of fun "maps" set up with highly customized sound packs...played in time with the stroke of a finger (or more).
Like Lemurs customizable MIDI maps for us lazy folk...and there is even an Ableton MIDI contest.
This is the first app that has felt like I am making organic music with. The sounds are amazing and highly expressive. It maximizes space and pushes the limits of what you can do with a screen.
The only things I would love to see expanded is the looper feature (I would happily pay as an in app purchase if it were tweaked a tad), and IAA and AUv3 support (which I hear may be coming soon alongside some out of this world features like map editing!!)
If I don't want to put a project and template together in Ableton with Lemur, this has ALL the fun and versatility of the end product.

For people who have no musical background, this is the perfect playground for you to play in and create music that you can be proud of. If you are a musician, you can truly dive deeper into PlayGroundOrganicRemix and expand your talent with a new instrument. How is this not the most popular music making app on PlayGroundOrganicRemix Store?

Super fun to play around with & makes being organically creative on the fly really FUN👍👍👍 I’m all for innovative & interesting ways to express one’s own creative spirit:) You guys struck GOLD this time for sure, and the fact that you can spend hours on this mixing up the melody, accompaniment & rhythmic vibes says a lot about this gem of an app! I’ve been a musician for over 40 years & I just discovered a new & unique way to create music! Great job, developers 🎼this gets an A+ in my book; highly recommended 🤩

Ive been having an issue with the looper where it appears it will begin to smash all of the different input points at once. Meaning a simple 1-2-3-2 progression becomes a jumbled mess. Ive got an iphone 6 and the the ipad pro, 1st gen and they both experience this problem. Tried updating my phone because it was getting worse but its just life now. Ive been trying to record more and i cant get a single good session recorded because it consistently decides to add in its own archaic syncopation ): am I the only one being tormented by the rogue looper.
The 2 beat looper is fine usually, but thats it.

Buy all their packs if you can afford it, they are all unique and versatile. Nothing like it on PlayGroundOrganicRemix Store, not even close. There are a million little Easter eggs hidden throughout the packs, I dare you to find them all.

You can loop, change tempo, screen and audio record, and generally do trill things. Developer is on point too; I had an issue, and the CEO personally emailed me to make sure it was fixed.

Top to bottom, a truly amazing app. Soul Glo, Chains, and Vapor Dream are some of my highlights. But I broke the bank and got all of them... they are just too sick, so calling it worth.

My only advice for playground peeps: skill cap is way large on some packs. If you made feature-rich kits that aren't as complicated as calculus (think Chicago) you might sell more, and I could rock out more stress free from time to time.

I recently started using PlayGroundOrganicRemix about a month or so ago and i absolutely love it!! I’ve used other beat apps similar to this but i really like the layout of this one. Instead of just pads you press it’s almost like a rhythm game where you slide your fingers across the screen to create music. I have been having issues with the looper and sometimes PlayGroundOrganicRemix will crash on me randomly which could be because of the device i’m using (iPhone 5s). Other than that i love PlayGroundOrganicRemix and am excited for future updates!

If you like making music this is a no brainier download .beyond user friendly ...also appreciate the support for some older model iPad 's below iOS 10 .
i still rock my 9.3 iPad mini ..it's so frustrating to come across other music apps that look interesting but with no support for anything below iOS 10 or 11 .
Haven't had a single issue running PlayGroundOrganicRemix.

PlayGroundOrganicRemix is the best app I’ve ever used since creating music on my phone it’s so free flowing and therapeutic!!! I love how you have the option to purchase the packs separately or just subscribe for full access (honestly I went ahead and subscribed lol) the interface for each Dj is so visually appealing you can’t help but run your fingers across the screen like a mad Mozart!! All in all PlayGroundOrganicRemix is great and I can’t wait to see what you add to it in the future ☀️

no thinking. getting lost in the music one is playing. it’s a meditative state. the easier it is to play, the less thinking one needs to do. less thinking means more feeling, more expression, that’s what playing music is all about. a musical instrument shouldn’t be viewed as something incredibly difficult to master. it is a tool for expression. it can move people. as a multi-instrumentalist for over 15 years, i must say i really dig these “anybody can play” instruments. so easy to get into. try it. maybe you’ll like it. maybe you’ll discover your inner mozart-like qualities. maybe? or at least, relieve a little stress? serenade the ladies. perhaps? just don’t let your phone drop when the beat does.

I have a few problems with PlayGroundOrganicRemix . Sometimes the map wouldn’t load and just crash. Also when I go to the top of the music map it will bring down the notification tab which is normal for iPhone.. but if there’s away y’all can disable notification menu avoid way bringing the top menu down that be great. Also try to provide more music each week or month or something.

I’ve only been playing around on PlayGroundOrganicRemix for a couple of days and I’m on the free version. The only reason I haven’t gotten the paid version yet is because I generally only pay for apps that I legitimately need. This one will probably be my first exception to that rule. I can’t play any instruments. I love music but i have no musical education. None of that matters here.

If PlayGroundOrganicRemix is thought of as a game / app now, let me buy some credits and put my own samples in? Something like a ten dollar iap that would allow 1 sample per 5 cents. Seems like a good compromise to sell samples to new users and let more experienced users use the samples they prefer. I think the current way it’s being sold is really keeping it from gaining a lot of traction.

With Ableton Link and that it would be five stars. As it is, there’s just too much wasted potential in these dope UI sets!

This is well conceived and fun and would be insane if us musicians could make our own sets w a one time base price Version (I avoid cloud subscription software), like PlayGroundOrganicRemix meets touch Osc or lemur or the like (access to MPE midi and Playgrounds synth engines including PG drum sounds and sampler would be cool in-app charged bonuses) thanks, great job !

This is just an honest comment on PlayGroundOrganicRemix . It works really well and it does not slam ads in your face at all. It doesn’t try to force you buy anything to use PlayGroundOrganicRemix and it gives amazing free soundboards to work with and unlock-able ones to work towards. I’ve been through many music apps but this one is one of the better ones. 🎶🎵

It’s an awesome app for just random jamming...but I love making loops to export and expand on in my daw! Only suggestion I would have is an option to turn off the quantizer to play off grid. But this is the ultimate beat block destroyer! I can always find a map to give me a creative boost when I’m stuck in a rut.

My hubby and I LOVE to play together. So much fun!!! I just wish there were more boards where you can duo with someone else. I’m enjoying playing around during lunch hours or in waiting rooms though. Fully entertaining and even if you are not a musician you can still sound nice

There are a lot of music making apps on iOS and most of them fit the expected paradigms - keyboards, fretboards, etc. This is not one of those. As the blurb says “easy to play, hard to master” but a whole lot of fun right from the start. Put on a pair of headphones and have some fun.

Single purchase meaning one time payment. I haven’t been able to download any of the scenes all while paying weekly. I really like PlayGroundOrganicRemix so, I guess I’ll keep needlessly paying until someone sees this!

PlayGroundOrganicRemix is insanely intuitive to any user, but still leaves so much room for user creativity. You guys did an amazing job! PlayGroundOrganicRemix has inspired so much more style in to my own music please keep it up!

Look I’m sure there will be haters. There are always those few, who maybe want something COMPLEX. Something that has a SHARP learning curve. Don’t get me wrong, I love Audulus 3, TC-11, Moog Model 15, Nave, SynthScaper... But THIS IS NOT that type of app... this stands out ALL ON ITS OWN. It is intuitive, inspiring, and FUN! Now Don’t get me wrong, it’s more complex than some sampled beat apps like Novation, Aduxy, and other sample base sequencers.

***Plus; enough free packs to keep you making beats, riffs, and melodies for months!
