AudioScrub REMIX Edition Reviews

No idea how to get tracks into this from the files app. No folder of AudioScrubREMIXEdition in files app and the in app files icon opens to an empty window called documents with no way to browse further. Otherwise I would recommend this to all my music students.

I subscribe to the full boat Apple Music. Don’t carry much music on my phone and generally stream my library (think that happened originally when I did iTunes Match). So I downloaded hotel California and gave AudioScrubREMIXEdition access to my music as I saw instructed in other reviews. When I try to access the downloaded song via AudioScrubREMIXEdition I get an file protected error. This is a track that I had purchased from Apple Music prior to iTunes Match and now the Apple Music full subscription. The way Apple Music protects its contents if you are a streaming customer with available downloads is not compatible with AudioScrubREMIXEdition from my experience. Think if you are someone with a lot of mp3s that you have not allowed to get sucked up into the Apple Music vacuum of protected content which is too complicated for me to understand it might work for you. Unfortunately I have indeed been sucked (or suckered!) in already so I don’t think it will work for me.

Anytime I try to go upload a song from my music, the only thing it is bringing up are my downloaded podcasts...???... It doesn’t matter which tab I click (songs, albums, artists, playlists), it won’t show any music to choose from. I paid $5 for AudioScrubREMIXEdition thinking it was an upgraded iLift... App Developed, please help.

AudioScrubREMIXEdition details indicate it works with Apple Music, so I purchased it AudioScrubREMIXEdition ($5). When I try to play tunes through AudioScrubREMIXEdition , there is an error saying files are protected, and to address this issue I should make them available offline. However, all the music I attempted to play through AudioScrubREMIXEdition was already available offline. Disappointed that I was not warned about this compatibility problem before spending the money for AudioScrubREMIXEdition .

I used iLift (from the same developer) for a couple years before buying this. It worked well, and had almost identical functionality to this. iLift has since stopped working as the dev hasn’t updated it, so I begrudgingly bought their new bundle that includes this one. Not only is it a rehash of the same app renamed to force another purchase, but the interface is slow and jumpy to the point that navigating the waveform is useless. Button presses take a few seconds to respond, which is painful in an app meant to provide fine control over music playback. Fix this or bring back iLift.

I am still on iOS 10.2 and refuse to update so that I can still use iLift (the previous and far superior version of AudioScrubREMIXEdition). I don't even get cell service anymore because of how outdated my cell service is, but cell service

I absolutely love AudioScrubREMIXEdition, but the most recent update makes AudioScrubREMIXEdition instantly crash every time i launch it. Please fix it so i can go back to using this wonderful creation!

It does a great job with its core functionality. I took off 1 star because it lacks the ability to browse cloud services. The Loopman app can do this, so it’s not some kind of platform restriction. You have to basically export out of the cloud service to get songs in.

AudioScrubREMIXEdition meets all my needs (for practicing Carnatic singing)! However, it failed to migrate from my old phone (SE) to my new phone (12), so I worry that it is out of date. It’s the only app on my phone that failed to migrate.

This is AudioScrubREMIXEdition which made me buy an iPhone. It works beautifully and I use it constantly.

I completely agree with the devs, nothing in there description says anything about Apple Music, they must be the type of person who drives in the left lane on the highway going the speed limit - just a complete moron.

AudioScrubREMIXEdition is so versatile, it's a great feature where you can change the start and end points of your loop on the fly. After trying 4 other apps similar, 2 of which don't exist anymore (after OS11); this is the first one that still plays if you lock your phone, or still plays in the background if you activate a different app.

Just as a note; I am unfamiliar at how Apple indexes searches in AudioScrubREMIXEdition store or if you are even able to manipulate it -- I don't really use this for musician purposes, therefore wouldnt really search AudioScrubREMIXEdition using any musician terms, I happen to find AudioScrubREMIXEdition only by using Google and not in AudioScrubREMIXEdition store with the term 'song loop'

AudioScrubREMIXEdition is great. It helped me learn many songs by slowing down and transposing any song I want. It's also useful if you wanted to make a song nightcore. Overall great app

Fun to use. Even if You don't play music. You can speed and slow a song and just listen to how it would sound in different keys. All smiles, here.

AudioScrubREMIXEdition is perfect for learning songs. I use the slowdown feature constantly for figuring out the notes and pattern of complex guitar riffs, and I couldn’t be happier. One of the other awesome features I also just discovered was the key change option, which allows you to play a song in a different key so that you don’t have to re-tune!! That’s super useful when I want to switch from playing a drop D song to a drop B, especially if I don’t want to swap strings! As an added bonus, I think AudioScrubREMIXEdition is gorgeous, so I don’t mind looking at it for hours on end. Apps don’t have to be shiny and pretty for me to give them 5 stars, but having a simple and elegant interface makes the user experience that much better, and shows that AudioScrubREMIXEdition developer cares to polish their work. I’ve used all the features in AudioScrubREMIXEdition and they work incredibly well, I can’t thank AudioScrubREMIXEdition dev enough!

I was using this on a daily basis but now it stopped working on my iPad. Customer service not helpful.
I resolved the problem on iPad with the help of customer support.

I bought this because I had used their windows product for years.
Now use it on iPhone 6, all day every day. Best app for this task that I've found. And all for the $ of a latte. Exceptional customer tech support.

The simple app is incredibly powerful. It pans, it's shifts key, it loops, and most importantly to me it slows down the music without changing the pitch. By slowing down solos I am able to pick a part what the artist is really doing. It doesn't get in the way. If you're serious about taking your playing to the next level this application is worth every penny.

AudioScrubREMIXEdition is great for learning a song a verse or a guitar lick! It does so much to help you be your personal best. Listen to the whole song, section off a note,lick or verse so that it just repeats that section you created, that way you can get it perfected. Drop the key if needed or raise the key so simple. Every musician should have this, and if they don't..., "they just don't know". Get it and enjoy all its benefits.

Totally fantastic app! First, please know that this is the reincarnation of the venerable iLift - with a lot of great enhancements. Its much easier to quickly skip backward or forward a few seconds at a time; its much easier to find the spot in the song you're looking for just by glancing at the song's two waveforms (an overall and focused waveform are conveniently shown simultaneously); you can now activate loops without having to leave the main page; multiple loops can be saved so you can compare differences in the licks across repeated sections; you can transpose a song through all 12 keys; you can now slow way down beyond 50% for those extra tricky sections. Best of all, all these features work smoothly with no crashes.

AudioScrubREMIXEdition is very well designed. I didn't notice any distortion when slowing the tempo and transposing music segments. It is also very accessible for VoiceOver users. Since I am a low vision user, I also appreciate the high contrast interface and large buttons.
