So far HomeSpotterRealEstate is decent to use but would get more stars if it was more organized. Once you have a contact listed you CAN NOT delete him/her. This will cause clutter in your contact list. This would be a little more solid app if you enabled the deletion of contacts!

It seems as if there is no perfect app on the market yet. Zillow is very user friendly toward clients but the info isn’t always up to date. For agents HomeSpotterRealEstate isn’t too bad BUT organization is a huge thing. Developers! Smoke the competition and change some features around, please! Make HomeSpotterRealEstate awesome instead of decent!

I've never before found an app that I thought was so much better than the alternatives. This one doesn't make fake boundaries in your search around city limits. I can filter by all of the homebuying parameters that are important and then zoom the map in and out so any houses that fit in the map that meet those parameters will show up. Do not search for houses to buy using any other program or app.

two stars because It works great for me.... Im a realtor and I have been using HomeSpotter on and off for a while. Recently I started using it as my primary mobile property search tool. I was hoping it would be a great tool to use for clients to get them away from Redfin or Zillow so I decided to invite 1 client... that’s where the experience crashed and burned. They got the invite but every time they try to set it up they get a “having problems connecting to the server” message. They tried deleting and downloading HomeSpotterRealEstate again but every time it won’t work. Maybe it works great for everyone else but me... IDK

After using HomeSpotterRealEstate for a while I have grown to really like it. I like having the listing agent contact information and the ability to make contact directly from HomeSpotterRealEstate to clients as well. One feature I really loved was being able to look up supplements/disclosures on the fly. It saves time and paper to have it in your pocket or on a tablet vs printing it all off. Why did that go away? This is keeping it from getting 5 stars. Even scheduling a showing was easy, but this feature was huge. Please bring it back!

Please don’t get rid of HomeSpotterRealEstate!! It is so easy to navigate and find info quickly. I am an agent and when a client asks for info in the listing during the showing, it’s easy to find everything. A thousand times better than MLS-TOUCH. Please do not discontinue.

If I could give zero stars I would. HomeSpotterRealEstate was useless to me. I created account but within a few days HomeSpotterRealEstate logged me out and wouldn’t let me log back in. It said my login credentials weren’t recognized. I tried to create a new account but said my credentials were in use already. I deleted HomeSpotterRealEstate and redownloaded and it was the same result. I contacted their IT who reset my account. I then created another account but within an hour the same issue started again. I told the IT rep to close the ticket because I’ll use an app that works. I have been using Trulia without a single issue. Don’t waste your time with this one.

I have a great deal of difficulty finding homes I am looking for, which is not the case with the MLS site on a desktop or laptop. I often have to default to a google search and find the home I’m looking for on third party sites.
Very poor user interface with selection criteria not registering. For instance I will be looking for a cancelled listing and it will often not display when I know there is a cancelled listing to be found.
All in all an unreliable app that’s ipretty much worthless for searches.
When I actually find a home I am trying to locate the display is good and easy to use.

App is ok. My realtor suggested I download it to have a mobile friendly way to look up new listings but my biggest frustration with HomeSpotterRealEstate is that despite selecting “active only” listings it is showing homes that were listed (and sold) back in November of last year as still active. When using the “new this week” filter it eliminates everything when there are in fact new listings available that I see on MLS.

As an agent I would like to be able to batch homes together to send to clients and customers. Sending 1 message at a time with each individual home is time-consuming and annoying to the client.
HomeSpotterRealEstate glitches (freezes or shuts down - won’t search the MLS# correctly) often. And I am unable to see coming soon listings. HomeSpotterRealEstate is fine on its own - but isn’t a suitable substitution for NorthstarMLS. Also every home I favorite never actually save to my favorites list.

I would love to see photos updated more frequently. Agents often add photos later and I’ve watched where it takes weeks for the new photos to be added to the site. Also, there are often open houses listed on other sites that don’t appear here. Perhaps a Friday update or even Saturday morning would capture more of the late-comers and changes.

Otherwise, this is has been my favorite app to use with my clients.

Very slow app and sometimes not able to opening. Slowly listing information update then Redfin. Unable forward the listing to client over WeChat under LTE environment. Recording history not enough. Showing client listing with “No title “

This is an excellent, very responsive, intuitive and easy to use app that I use daily to search and save homes. I can save homes and to send to specific clients and I can directly interact with MLS. This is definitely my go-to mobile app for work and sharing with clients.

This is a nice app overall but very bugged....

Issues include:
- not being able to save a home because the “like” button vanished so I need to uninstall/reinstall
- pictures not loading
- every once in a while my chat gets wiped with all the homes I sent

Improvements:
- fix the bugs
- allow me to view saved homes in the order I saved them, currently only filters by price
- when new homes are added since the last time you opened app or any new homes you never clicked on yet, if they show up as a different color (like a blue) that would be helpful

Unbelievably frustrating how HomeSpotterRealEstate crashes all the time. Save function stopped working, clicking on messages takes you to the center of the thread and you have to scroll down each time to get to the bottom, freezes and closes out a lot after I try to send a message... I only continued using it because our realtor has us use it to send him listings but I’ve used it for over a year now and it never gets better. Going to stop using it.

I’m a spotter makes my life so much easier. My buyers love HomeSpotterRealEstate as a search tool. I love HomeSpotterRealEstate to confirm appointments easily. The spotter tool is David Blaine scary. The filter tools are magical. Thanks for creating HomeSpotterRealEstate which allows my face to attach to the introduction… I am rockstar now.

The heart icon does not show up to allow me to save a listing, and I am unable to share links from within HomeSpotterRealEstate . The recipient (who also has Homespotter) cannot open the link without receiving an error. Other than that, the search functionality is good, and it is easy to set and save filters.

App started off fine, giving me proper notifications for my saved searches. A month on in, it started getting buggy, sometimes slow loading, not showing updated listings on the “activities” tab, and sometimes even freezing up when I try to edit filters, and this is all on an iPhone 13 so I don’t think my phone is the issue here. Pretty disappointing.

This application works so long as you don’t switch applications. The application will freeze and crash when attempting to resume. The favorite button also does not exist on iPhone X. As infuriating as it is to use, the content and ability to work directly with my realtor on the same platform is really nice. My wife has the iPhone 8 and everything works fine.

None of those other apps can compare to the ease of this one! It works perfectly, I can communicate with my realtor amazingly well, I can even use the camera and point it to any house and it tells me the price! It’s amazing!!

Had a friend recommend HomeSpotterRealEstate and I love it and everyone I’ve shown it loves HomeSpotterRealEstate. Easy to use, accurate, fast, updated. Will continue to show friends and family.

Can no longer access desktop version of MLS and agent remarks are no longer visible. This really hampers what agents can do when they’re out showing properties. Not helpful at all!
