I thought Quack was going to use your Facebook or Snapchat friends to find you friends. But instead you have to use your contacts and invite people to download Quack to make friends. That’s really invasive to me. I don’t want everyone knowing I downloaded Quack lol and I don’t want to depend on my friends downloading Quack to decide if I make friends or not. If I’m going do all this work. I might as well skip Quack and ask my friends to introduce me to their friends. PLUS HOW DO I NOT KNOW THAT MY FRIEND’S NUMBERS ARE NOT BEING STORED?! Honestly I just think it’s not really an app to make friends. I think you guys are just using people to get downloads for your app. We’ll see how long Quack last. And if it’s not about making “friends of friends” change the name. Also, the developers are very unprofessional!! They need to learn how to take criticism and use it to improve Quack . Not take the time to get an uncalled for and unprofessional comment on people who give one stars. How about use that energy to make Quack better?! That’s why y’all overall rating from other participants isn’t that high. Everyone isn’t wrong!

Quack has potential i would jus say that we need age filters to separate adults and minors. that should be mandatory for safety reasons and can go along way in preventing pedophiles to interact or even see younger people’s profiles. Second Quack absolutely needs more advertising from a younger more “hype” audience. promote on snapchat and tiktok, sponsor it to us teens. next, clean the home page up too. I feel like the “feed” page is messy it jus needs a new interface. However, the developers seem genuine, love that you can put your pronouns on your account, and it jus seems friendlier. just update Quack and get a more exciting youthful audience to bring in the flavor and to make more people wanna join

this app does such an amazing job at allowing you to post whatever positive message or photo you want while meeting new friends every day!! Everyone I have met on Quack is so sweet and I can’t wait to continue using it to its fullest potential. this app is different from any other social media app because you don’t have to worry about the amount of likes but more so on promoting a SAFE place for you!!! Everyone’s content is so raw and real which I really appreciate. I highly recommend you check it out and I guarantee you will have the same positive experience!!

Quack is such a fun & creative way to showcase your personality and find people who have similar interests in your area!! You can even find people you share mutual friends to help expand your reach! I love being able to express myself through the new channel feature because it’s not based on engagement data (likes, comments, etc) which I think is a negative aspect of social media platforms, so this feature truly allows you to be yourself & not worry about getting approval :)

I had $14 “on hold” for almost a week and then it just disappeared. Is this a scam app? Deleting.
Also, don’t respond telling me that there are “rules clearly stated”. I understand that. I know some of my referrals were random Facebook friends, so some might not have followed them, but I know for a fact at least 2-3 were legitimate signups, following all the rules, and the money still disappeared. It was on hold for way longer than 48 hours. Complete waste of time.

Edit: Not looking to get rich quick, just expecting your features to work as advertised. There are plenty of better apps that are more user friendly to meet friends on. Also, judging by other reviews, it looks like I’m not alone in my thoughts.

Quack works to some extent but after I uploaded my photos it had to verify that they were me and it said it would only take up to 60 seconds and it always took way more than that in fact I’m still on hold I keep refreshing and looking for updates but it never does anything so I’m not able to use some of the features on Quack because the verification process doesn’t work which I find is funny because The photos are in fact me and just because I have a Snapchat filter on doesn’t mean that it shouldn’t recognize me.

Quack has gotten me through quarantine boredom and beyond. Whether you’re a creative person who wants to share music, art or whatever content you like, or you’re just someone who wants to make friends all over the world this is Quack for you! It’s easy to use, always getting new and fun features, and the company has great values as well! Highly recommend :)

I don’t care what anyone says. I’ve read most of the reviews, and they don’t really make sense. For example, one said that they kept asking to access your contacts, which is clear when you download Quack . “Friends through friends” is exactly what that’s supposed to mean. 🤦🏾‍♀️ Quack is really fun, and I’ve made new friends already. Super underrated, you guys deserve way more credit. Thanks this app! 💓✨

Guys I kid you not, this app is an amazing app. no cap. And you might be thinking, “Bro I bet its one of their employees or something.” “Bro they are trying too hard, so they paid other people to write and rate 5 stars on it.”Bro y’all are just hating cuz Quack is too good for you. They are literally doing everything they can to make it, SAFE, FUN, MOST OF ALL, their whole plan is to get you through your tough times during quarantine. Don’t be hating, spread love.

I downloaded Quack and it was not very good, I tried putting my photos and it kept saying it wasn’t me and that I need to put pictures of myself. All my photos were of me, I didn’t use any photos that weren’t mine, and it wouldn’t let me upload my photos because I was violating community guidelines. There was no nudity or anything inappropriate in the picture , all pictures were from my shoulders up, and I was wearing a hoodie in each one , so I don’t understand why I couldn’t upload my photos, I wish there was an option to take a photo and verify that it is me, so that I can upload the photos I want to put on my profile.

if for some reason you're wondering why i may or may not be the only comment who is disliking Quack , it's probably because the other reviews are fake. don't get me wrong, this app is 100% legitimate, & can definitely help you find some new friends. but it just doesn't belong in today's society. it's not good enough. it gets boring after 5 minutes. i feel like there should be some major changes. this app is like a mixture of Instagram & Snapchat, all in one app. i feel like Quack should have it's own style. it's own ideas. it'll really get somewhere someday, but today i've simply had my worst experience.

Hey! Ok first of all don’t bully me because of my age... but I’m 12+ and I was wary because the rating was low but I thought “Hey! If they mean 12 and older I’m 12 and older!” But when I opens Quack and put in my phone number and birth date, it said “bro your too young”. Uhh maby then you should change the real age if it’s not old enough-
I can’t really say anything else about Quack since I wasn’t allowed in so this is all I have to say...

Quack is really great but somewhere in the settings you should put something that’s say nearby friends only like for the find bff thing have a settings there that says worldwide or nearby it would be a lot easier to make friends and being able to meet them in person to hang out with it’s kinda said making a good friend and then a another state or country and by doing that you made an app that other apps haven’t done yet witch means more people would want to go to Quack rather then other apps because you can actually find friends nearby and walking distance please think about doing that

i never really write reviews but there are so many social media platforms out there and wanted to shout this app out! what I like about this app is that it’s like all of them mashed together. I specifically love the channel feature, and everyone I have met through Quack are so genuinely nice 🥰🥰 so glad i got Quack

The devs are unprofessional with their responses as you can tell my going to the most critical reviews. they beg and plead for your contacts, and if you deny access because you don’t feel comfortable with them having everybody’s information, you basically can’t use Quack . and there are so many much better alternatives. If your looking for new friends, don’t download Quack . It’s sub titled ‘friends of friends’ and enforces it a lot, and the entire app just feels like it wants to control you, and get info.

I wish you could write a bio. Like if you don’t want to accept a request until you get to know them. Then you can get to know them a little bit before accepting their request.

There is a issue I’m trying to text one of my friends on Quack and they say I’m blocking them but I’m not so idk what the issue is they are not getting any texts and I tried blocking them unblocking them tried to reset my iPad and tried to log out of my account and it is not working then I told my friend to log out and log back in and that did not work so idk what the issue is I’m using a iPad mini 4 for Quack ?

I read all the reviews about Quack sending messages to your contacts. I thought, “Hey, just deny it access to your contacts in your phone settings. Easy enough.” But no, Quack locks the majority of its features until you give it access to your contacts. I’ve never seen an app work so hard to get ahold of my friend’s and family’s phone numbers. There isn’t a way around it, and that makes me uncomfortable.

I won the last tap game went to go put the money into my PayPal and put in the correct info and it’s been 4 days and it still haven’t show up in my PayPal. I emailed this app and they have not responded, I really thought Quack was legit and I was super happy that I won but it doesn’t look like I actually won anything. I’ve heard other people with this problem and it is sad to see. Please this app answer my email.

I didn’t enjoy Quack because you HAD to put your number in to find people to talk to or just to find one person to talk with. That’s not a good idea and I feel they maybe can do better with like not having to put your phone number. You guys should have it to where you will be able to put your age, gender, and state you are in, and same thing for a person you would like to talk to. Also I think the age limit should be a bit higher 13-14 should be the start. Just saying...hope you guys read this and then can work things out to make Quack better.

I’m an autistic adult and really don’t get out that often and find it incredibly difficult to make friends. Aside from family, I really don’t know anyone. I downloaded Quack with the hopes of getting to know people, only to find out that you apparently have to let Quack see your contacts and current friend list in order to make friends. Which of that I don’t have.
Thanks for reminding me of how alone I am and doing absolutely nothing to help.

I started off my time in nyc lonely as hell. I couldn’t find friends no matter what I did, coworkers didn’t work. I turned to this app and found friendships I was hesitant at first about and then they became instant friendships. I’m grateful to this app for turning acquaintances into real friends

OBSESSED with Quack! First, you need to invite your friends to grow your Circle (so you can see more friends of friends!!!) but once you do it’s amazing. Can chat with old friends and meet new ones AND now you can post anonymous stories - brilliant!

I get that y’all want a picture of are face but like why because I just want it to be way more simple because if like my hand is slightly over my face it doesn’t even take it and even when it’s not over my face at all it still doesn’t work my friend also tried it and it still isn’t working for them so make your picture thing way more simple because I can’t even use Quack because of it

Ok wow I saw other people say this and you people just ignored it and had an excuse. But anyways Quack legit doesn’t work like it won’t recognize my face so I’m really confused and not able to access Quack . Instead of fixing it you guys said something about it’s like that for a reason well if it’s like that for a reason the reasons seems to be you do not want people on Quack so I say we all take ourselves elsewhere.

"What is a 'this app'?" What isn't this app? Imagine Snapchat, Tinder, cashapp, and text messaging rolled into one. This is this app. In six months you'll hear news reporters talking about how this app took the world by storm. Everyone from boomers to gen-z will be using it. Best app ever!

Tried to sign up for it and entered my phone number, clicked continue but it brought me no where. After clicking continue multiple times I finally got somewhere, only to find out it locked me out due to “suspicious activity” for 24 hours. Ok, I get it, but why 24 hours? That is way too long to wait for an app I’m not even sure I want to keep because I didn’t get to use it.

I’m trying to put my name and birthdate into Quack , and I can do that except it won’t take it. I can’t go forward, it won’t let me press the continue button. Is this a common problem? Please help.

Kinda was confused at first but once I started sending invites and told my friends about it it all clicked. Met a few people that I really like to chill with and that’s all I was looking for.

Great app while traveling. It’s like a marketplace for friends of friends very cool. The setup is quick and easy to follow. Solid functionality with little to no glitches

It says no phone number will be shown, but I can still see everyone’s number as well as mine.
It also needs an easier way to add people.

It’s an alright app, there’s not much I can say about it, positive or negative. I invited some friends but none wanted to join, I’m not surprised. It appears as a knockoff social media app like Snapchat or Instagram. It’s not horrible but there’s nothing special about it. I’d rather use Instagram.

So first off I really don’t like to put my personal phone number on things, also Quack itself was pretty lame, it wanted my contacts so I can message them, DIDNT like that either, I can just text them from my phone rather than through Quack, I was expecting something more like showing ppl near me or ppl with the same interests!

Lots of potential, the this app bank feature is super interesting and cool, I hope Quack approves over time because this could be an amazing app
