This is way better than how it was but the limit on swiping is lame af. Isn’t this a place to meet people? 5 swipes is the limit! That’s crazy. All the new features are cool but I’m not interested in random people around the US. Adding location to the groups and home page would be clutch. Then I’ll give it 5 stars.

Reply to devs: 15 right swipes isn’t nearly enough. This is supposed to be a social platform. We can’t add friends or message in any other way except for the swipes and that’s limited to 15 for hours. If I see someone interesting on my homepage there no way to follow that person or have a conversation with that person except through the comments. The way it is now just swipe my 15 and don’t look at HighThere until I can do it again. If I wanted to just look at 420 pics of random people I can I look at a Instagram reel but at least on Instagram it lets me follow that person for more content and message them if I want to have a conversation. I’ve been using HighThere since 2018 I just want it to be great like it was back then even with the bugs.

Hello, let me start by saying it’s relatively close to what you expect, but will likely fall short of several of said expectations.

The concept is genius, it’s rather the delivery of it. You’re basically working with a social app so limited that I’d go as far as to say it fails to serve a purpose to as much as 90% of those who download. There are simply much better options out there.

With the rough summary of it’s current state out of the way, HighThere isn’t hopeless. Quite the contrary, since as an investor, especially one with roughly 60k in stock related to apps like this, I love the concept of an app dedicated to smokers. It’s a niche audience that can struggle to relate to those who don’t partake in the act.

I have extensive knowledge pertaining to social apps due to a career based on investing in them, and I got an email suggesting I try HighThere, I assume due to this affiliation.

If your company is interested in having someone with experience aid in ideas, or the execution of them, please reach out. While everybody has a vision for how their product/service should look, in my experience, help has always led to happier consumers.

Thank you for taking the time to read, and if help is not a current perceived need, my suggestion is focus on at least setting HighThere up to match people with those near them.

I love HighThere and it’s a great way to find people, but 1. The login is no longer working for me or my boyfriend, and clearly several other people as well.

Update: it still doesn’t work, and get this, they somehow made it worse!! Come on guys hurry up and fix this

Update #2: Okay after at least a month of having HighThere not work I still kept it on my phone just in case they ever fixed the login, and they did as well as change the whole app experience. Instead of looking like any other match and chat app (like tinder) the only screen you see when you open HighThere is the matching screen. You have to open the menu in the left corner to view messages, your profile, etc. the colors are brighter and the buttons are now a bright blue color...it’s okay, but the old setup was easier to move around HighThere in. App still gets four stars because it seems to be the only app you can find plugs on, but all we wanted was to log in again, instead they spent the whole month changing everything

Time and date stamps: so people can see Jane they are responding to a post, or when someone had a birthday or event.

Accurate add friends: right now, everyone is having problems adding friends to there list..saying “pending”.

This service has potential to be HUGE. Make the necessary changes, ad a simple IM feature, keep it free, and you will dominate the cannabis messenger market. Good luck!

The original app was very buggy but atleast it was easy to use and intuitive. I have no idea how to do most of the basic tasks I want to do in this new app. There are so many different features I don’t want to deal with. By trying to do everything HighThere does nothing.

HighThere is worse than when I used it a few years ago. I got signed out of my account the day after signing up again & now I can’t get back in with the password I had written down and I can’t get HighThere to send me a password reset email - it keeps freezing. WASTE OF TIME.

Update: I gave it another try. you say the password issue is fixed....but it’s not. I’m still locked out of my account.

I had an account and after the new version I can’t access it anymore. I hope someone can help me get back in to it , I will not make a new one and loose all my content and time I put in HighThere.

Gave it 2 stars because of this issue if it would let me in then I would’ve gave it 5 stars.

HighThere requires you have a photo....but then it doesn’t request photo permissions. Because it doesn’t actually request it, there’s absolutely no way I can allow access to upload a photo. Since it can’t request, it doesn’t even show up in settings > privacy > photos > [app] > allow

Lol terrible. The glitches and the lag will never improve. Been using HighThere for like 3 years. Nothing has changed one bit.

Update: the update is just as terrible. Overload of unwanted content, no block feature, overload of friend requests that I can’t even decline. CONSTANT CRASHING. Trashy girls that I do not follow that I can’t even block from my feed. NO EDIT button for comments. Terrible.

HighThere is trash!! I haven’t been on it for years and they sent me an email saying how much better it is .... well it’s a hundred times worse than it ever was!! It’s freezes!! It has nothing local at all!! And it only lets you look a five people a day?? It’s a joke!! It I could give in negative 5 stars I would!!! Trash!! Don’t waste your time!! Trash!!! Trash !!! Trash!!!! Finally can Remove friends, only to find out their the only ones in Que. after u remove them. if you want to add new ones. U HAVE REACHED THE DAILY LIMIT .... GEEEEZ
and, the app is limiting your use especially if you want to connect with a potential friend. leaves you SEEKING ALTERNATIVE It’s created odd! U Should charge people

So, I saw an ad for this and am always curious as I’ve wanted these types of things to be everywhere. The limits are too much. Feels more like a dating app than a social canna community. I’ll give it more tries throughout the week and update my review if it gets better. Great concept but way over complicated on the delivery.

Took you guys long enough to get your act together. Pleasantly surprised, I’m glad I gave HighThere a second chance .

After I put in all my information. The last step requires you to scroll down to finish the process but it won’t scroll. Can’t finish the last step to access HighThere . Tried to report the issue but was unable to address the issue that way.

Having a problem with my chats it won’t separate the chats I’ll go to talk to one person and it takes me to my top chat every time
Also virtual smoke seshs would be a good idea

After i swipe either right or left on people I shouldn’t see them again while swiping. Yet this is not the case. Please fix this feature of your app.

Took me a minute to get it figured, but it was purely user error.

This is one of the worst social apps I've ever used from a design standpoint and lacks basic controls for safety. I keep getting attached by homophobic and transphobic users but I can't block them nor delete their messages of hate; complaints and reports go I head via email, Twitter, and Facebook.

90% of the users are scammers trying to get you to buy things on websites.

This service had no idea what they are doing and goes from bad to worse.

Don't waste your time.

app looks great but when i try to sign up, the screen goes Blue and i have to restart HighThere . Tried 5 times to make an account without any luck :(

Make sure u download HighThere right away. Best idea for any app I seen
