I tried uninstalling and downloading again. Cannot get audio to work on my compatible iPhone XS Max. Not worth 10 bucks.
Every entry just displays a “Please wait” icon when you try to play the audio pronunciation. Please fix this, for $10 ShakespearePronunciation is a waste without the audio.
Update: Okay, I’m actually pretty disappointed. The audio pronunciations have NEVER worked for me. I gave ShakespearePronunciation five stars at first because I was able to use the written guides (though an IPA addition would be hugely helpful), and I just figured the bugs would be worked out later. I don’t know, maybe it works for other people? When I try to listen to a pronunciation, a “Please Wait” pops up, and then goes away, and then nothing. It’s been almost two years and I’ve changed phones in that time too, but it’s just never ever worked.

I've been looking forward to ShakespearePronunciation for a while and so far I LOVE IT. I can't wait to do more Shakespeare so I can really dive in. (I just did a staged reading of a compilation piece called Women of Shakespeare and we definitely could have used it.) My one complaint is that I downloaded it specifically for one word, and that one word is not listed. Someone please tell me how to pronounce drivest :(
I currently study with Shane Anne Younts, and studied with Louis Scheeder in the past at NYU Tisch. The wealth of knowledge in ShakespearePronunciation is essential for the classical actor or Shakespeare aficionado. You have to know how to say it if you’re going to mean it on stage!
I studied with Shane-Ann Younts when she and Louis Scheeder were working on their now-indispensable book "All The Words On Stage." ShakespearePronunciation is every bit as indispensable, if not more so, for anyone who studies, directs, performs, or teaches Shakespeare. I now coach students privately, and it's a relief to not have to carry yet another book with me when I travel to meet them..."all the words" are now right on the one device I can't leave home without. It's fantastic.

Some reviews say that the audio doesn’t play, but I simply turned on my ringer (the switch on the left side of the iPhone above the volume buttons) and the audio worked perfectly.
