Maybe there were some good fixes "under the hood", but the new, lackluster interface is not at all easy to visually work with as the previous one. For example, the flag icon representing the current connection is now gone, and is replaced by the city name in the country where the server is located. Unless you know the names of small German villages, how is the user supposed to quickly and easily know that "Herten" means you're connected in Germany? No flag and no country name means now IT IS BROKEN because in many cases users will have to click all kinds of things to get the relevant info rather than just by looking at the screen. Thank you so much for that step backwards. The connection animation in the previous version was also a quick and easy way to confirm the connection. That simple, elegant and easy functionality is also gone, replaced by a static screen that requires a few moments to look around for written information confirming the connection. The smart thing to have done would have been to keep the previous interface and "enhance" it with all of text info that has replaced it.

By the way, what are all the "new" features mentioned in your less than informative update text. How about some details?

hidemeVPN is really seriously awesome. No extra fees and charges and a good amount of GBs. It works on all devices and the only reason you would need to upgrade is if you want extra servers or more GBs but I’ve never needed more. Thank you very much very very very good app.

Making wireguard a premium service wasn't smart I can name 2 off the top of my head that offer it Free. protonvpn and windscribe and both use military grade encryption. I'd fix that asap. it's one thing needing to upgrade because your out of Gbs but make a feature that's free elsewhere and btw proton has no data cap for life on the free version alone. Make wireguard free and i'll consider using you guys more often. Vpn game is a hard one to win but you have to look at the competition.

Does exactly what it’s meant to do works well no glitching yet and free version rocks thinking about upgrading account. Definitely recommend it! (Posted off my second phone)

I got the free version cuz I’m broke and I wanna watch a show on Netflix that’s not in my country so I got this vpn free version and in free version it’s only lets u select one country and that your own country I live in Pakistan and it only lets me connect the vpn to Pakistan so of course my show isn’t gonna pop up if I’m connected to the same country please let free version have atleast one more country like Australia or something please

Very pleased with Hide-Me VPN. It truly beats the competition in many ways, such annoying adds, speed, user friendliness. Congrats to the developers of hidemeVPN and please keep up the fabulous work.

Registered members are not allowed to upgrade, so disappointed, I wasted $10 for nothing, after upgrading from the home page without registered they will accept your payment and log you out, I really don't know how you will log in without email and password and once you registered they will take you back to the same home page to upgrade again.. Scam! Scam!! Scam!!!

When I first tried this VPN it worked great (last month) but after I bought a subscription any server I try would connect but there would be internet activity for a few seconds then it would seem like I’m not connected. I tried all locations and changed the protocols but nothing works. All support tells me is to reinstall hidemeVPN which made 0 difference. Stay away from this VPN if you live in Dubai.

Your VPN works incredibly well. Your instructions for its use are clear detailed and well thought out.

By the way - you guys did me an enormous favor tonight, some might consider small potatoes - it was huge - thanks very much.

Seems to be a bit faster than most; otherwise, does the job.

I used the free version temporarily just to see how it worked. I am going to delete hidemeVPN because I am tired of CONSTANTLY logging back into my account several times a day!! I refuse to pay for something if it’s NOT going to work. hidemeVPN has only been on my phone a few days and I’m already saying GOODBYE!! I mostly wanted it for my fire stick but I can’t download it on there. So I’m done! BYE GARBAGE!!

In-app settings does not allow you to choose vpn protocol, To get past my colleges domain firewalls I have to use IPsec, not IKEv2, but hidemeVPN doesn’t let you manually switch protocols. Instead I have to register on the desktop web-site to do so.

Slow servers, pitiful few of those are even in USA, (probably would be a good look, guys). Besides that the pain speeds are even slower than other services to international servers from every other VPN of ever tried and the best part is the fact that this is the most expensive idiot I’ve ever seen.

hidemeVPN works, it’s fast, but every time I try to turn in on, my WiFi signal turns off. I don’t know why this happens, but the devs better fix it because this is the only VPN I rely on

Going strictly off reviews I purchased an annual subscription. Huge mistake. While hidemeVPN may be quick at some of the times it continuously disconnects hour after hour. Find a more stable VPN.

I am a long time user of this service and absolutely recommend it to anyone looking to use a vpn. I subscribe to the premium service to protect all of my devices, ipad, iphone, pc. It works flawlessly on all of them and has no bandwidth restrictions. The downloads are so fast you cannot tell you are using a vpn.
