Wow is this an awful platform. Hard to use, terribly difficult to filter accurately, expensive, it’s not clear whether you can watch live or only replays or if you have to pay extra to watch it live. I’ve been on this thing for hours and all I’ve been able to do is watch a 50 second clip of two teams warming up (not the teams listed on BallerTV mind you). This is really a bad app.

Looking to pay premium dollar but then get to watch maybe 15% of your child’s sports? Then this is BallerTV for you! Streaming quality is horrendous. Some games they won’t even stream, even at a this app sponsored tournament. Even better, they will stream a different team and say it’s yours. Saving clips is horrible. It takes up to a minute each one and then kicks you out of the even you’re watching to do it. Customer service is as poor as their livestream. You’ll get emails asking about your customer service experience while they didn’t do a single thing to correct any problems. Not worth a single penny.

It seems every tournament I have to contact customer service to rectify an issue. Most recently I was charged an event credit daily for the same event and missed portions of the last tournament of the season to fix the problems.
Customer service was satisfied that they were able to solve it in a “timely” manner but I wanted compensation for my time after countless issues. They refused and insisted I got what I paid for. I missed a significant portion of my child’s last game of the season attempting to resolve their system error.

Video quality isn’t worth the money. You can see plays, make out players, make out where the ball is, see fouls, camera doesn’t follow the ball right, camera doesn’t zoom in in order to see plays on other side of the field, etc. It can’t save highlights properly but can’t see what the highlight is anyway unless the players are right under the camera. Useless tool for recruiting, creating highlight videos, and having players watch games back to learn. Company refuses to refund for poor service and poor quality. Purchasing footage is confusing and you pay more than you should or need to.

BallerTV is the OK. The issue is, they are usually late getting the games up and they end the stream the second the last point is scored. Translation, you are usually a few seconds behind the live feed which means you rarely get to see how the game ends. They immediately Kill the stream so they can “upload” the reply. That means you are constantly missing the end of games. I wish there was some comp so I could try a different offering.

BallerTV is OK, but the service itself is very spotty in places and a lot of the tournaments that we attended that used Baller Tv did not show the tournament because they had issues with service. As much as the service costs I would expect better coverage. Also, the camera angles would be off and to notify is only in BallerTV and 99% of the time it was never fixed and/or the livestream would stop. Over the past 6 years or so we have purchased the service but are always left disappointed and dissatisfied. Hopefully, the service improves.

You’re better off recording and streaming the games yourself. Half the time the games aren’t started on time and we spend half of a match trying to find someone to start the stream. That’s if you are luck and they actually show up. I’m at a match today that this app is supposed to be streaming and they didn’t show up, so the subscription is wasted. Hopefully, they’ll show up and stream as scheduled for the next tournaments.

My daughter is on 2 teams (different age groups) and BallerTV will not allow me to add a second team to her profile, they also will not allow me to change her team. There is no number to call to talk to a person. Very disappointed in BallerTV and it’s lack of customer service. Not worth the money, I will be cancelling at the end of the month.

If I were able to give BallerTV zero, I would. I’m just trying to watch my teamates play in AAU’s but I have to pay for literally everything?? I would be fine if it were like 15 dollars per month but why would I have to pay for 3 months straight up? And the premiums aren’t even that good! Yes, make me pay $95 just to watch one game. Makes sense.

Buyer Beware! BallerTV has great potential but at its very high subscription price it has way too many problems. At least half of my sons games this season had incomplete recordings or no recording at all. The token system for watching games is non transparent as it doesn’t give you any idea when your tokens renew, or what have you used them on. Customer service is never helpful. I will not be renewing my annual subscription next year, it’s unfortunate this great idea is being executed so poorly.

I only subscribed to watch my daughters tournament. Not only did the live stream not work, but they failed to capture the game all together so also no reply. Support was slow and ultimately not helpful. The issue wasn’t resolved.
This is the year’s biggest volleyball tournament, no excuse for not making sure their system was working. Although it’s a girls tournament so perhaps just not a priority.

We bought the one month plan to try it out and to see our son play since we weren't able to make it. It buffered too much. Couldn't watch 1 whole minute without it buffering. The score was going up and down. Totally frustrating to watch. BallerTV is a good idea but needs some of the bugs to be fixed. I'm glad we didn't buy a year membership. We want our money back!

I have 3 kids that play AAU so I purchased a quarterly subscription to this app because we have conflicts and I cannot be at all the kids games at the same time. Figured I could attend the tournaments without live streams and watch this app for the other games. I cancelled after 2 tournaments. First tournament this app was at only had 2 of the 4 games he played in. The games were listed, but when you clicked on the game it was totally different teams playing. The 2 games where his team were on the stream only had about 50-60% of the game.

The second tournament I went to watch and it required me to purchase an “event pass” for an additional $20 and the subscription I was paying for apparently didn’t cover that U12 local tournament. No one at support could explain the event pass and why my subscription would not allow me to watch the event. They sent me a link explaining event passes are an NCAA requirement for NCAA coaches to view events. I told the person I am a parent trying to watch my 12 year old play…

Seems like a money grab without an actual product that works.

Every time I tried to watch an event over the past year, I could only see 50% of the games. They had technical difficulties the other 50% of the time. Contacted support and told me maybe I could view the footage in two weeks. Didn’t offer any sort confidence at all. Sorry just got the events instead of watching on BallerTV.

The cameras look for activity… and if a ref is lazy about getting down the court, the camera often cute way in the middle of an offensive possession to follow the slow moving ref finally getting to half court. It ruins watching the game. Baller TV and their people either need to fix this camera issue or make the refs move up and down the court at a decent speed.

Very difficult to find your game or even court until it is live. Search function doesn’t produce results at all until the game is live. Notify feature didn’t work either. Frequently pauses or glitches. Very expensive for poor quality and poor functionality. For as many sports and events, baller tv should do better.

The cost for Baller is often more expensive than attending events live. Also, when trying to AirPlay or view games casted to a big TV, the screen won’t rotate correctly so you either have to watch the game really small on the big TV or watch it big sideways on a big TV. Only option is to use the website, but then there’s no sound and you have to deal with your browsers tabs, menus etc.

Sometimes they don’t have the right game and you have to search. They don’t have enough staffers to fix the cameras when they get knocked over or moved over. When you try to cut clips sometimes it cuts the wrong clip. But when it works it does it’s job to perfection.

When it works it is good. I have tried to watch granddaughters volleyball matches this year.
Two events the technical difficulties you experienced did not allow watching.
Other matches had periodic stop in video.
I don’t feel the $99 I paid for app has been worthwhile. I may not renew.

I bought premium for a year last week when I was watching grandsons game. Thought this was great. Only problem is now I see they don’t cover many tournaments. I wrongly assumed if they covered the Zgravity tournament last week they would do more of them. Now appears that was a one shot deal. Live and learn.
UPDATE: I had my money refunded except for 1 month and put on a monthly subscription. The idea is fantastic and I hope they can make it work.

I am so thankful for Baller TV as I am able to watch my grandsons play basketball from a long distance. I live in North Carolina and they live in New York. When they travel for tournaments, I am able to watch them play. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5, was because there is no way to follow the score. It would be nice if there was a scoreboard positioned somewhere on screen.

These games are recorded perfectly, they’ve even recorded AAU games that I’ve played, they even have games with the scoreboard already on there, but you have to pay to watch Baller TV.

I can’t say how much I appreciate being able to see my granddaughter play volleyball in tournaments I am unable to attend.

Plus she enjoys coming to my house to view herself playing. It is a great tool for improving her game and a first hand analysis of her performance!

My family and I love Baller TV because we can watch our son play no matter where we are and we can watch any other teams that are broadcasting with them as well. You can cut clips from the games and use it as a tool for your recruiters. We’ve had this paid service for years now and no complaints at all!! Great App, well worth the $$.

I am apart of a broadcasting class at my high school. Our class discovered BallerTV in January and it's been amazing! It allows you to livestream your school's teams right on your phone for free! We have begun broadcasting our school's games on here and it's been a huge hit. People love that they can view games right on their phone. BallerTV lets watch live games, condensed highlights of the game and full game replays. Don't know where'd we'd be without it. You have to download BallerTV! Every school (and fan) in the country should have BallerTV and use it. It's the next big thing!

It’s one of those things that if you want it, you can get it but if you don’t, it doesn’t change tour daily routine. Rad that you can watch a game any where, even if it’s an opponent to get ready for our next game.

BallerTV is easy to navigate and does exactly what it advertises! My brother and I argue a lot about our tennis scores from past matches, so we were looking for an app that could record our wins and losses. This one does just that - plus the headlines are funny, too!

This is such a convenient app! It's an easy way for my friends and I to keep track of our ongoing friendly basketball games. We don't have to rely on someone remembering or writing it on paper. Plus the custom headlines make for a fun conversation when we see each other!

I am a big fan of amateur sports, and now I am so happy because I found BallerTV that allows me to watch the highlights of the games. In addition, you can also make your own broadcasts. I tried it when I went to see the football game in Santa Ana.

Not even joking, phenomenal! On my way to the game I downloaded BallerTV and, after streaming my first game, now I need to let you know this platform delivers!
From a guy who has 99% free apps and no time to ever write a review:

Pros
-simple to get rolling,
-live score that is easily and smoothly entered,
-professional interface and presentation (things like stopping for halftime and labeling the final video are well done, I have yet to view the automatic highlights ),
-did not use all my battery,
-live sharing is a breeze and viewers can interact
-free
Cons
-the sharing interface was too tight on my iPhone screen
-free (con for developer...worth AT LEAST $5 to me, already have parents begging for more)

BallerTV perfectly fills the niche formed by drunk weekend warriors at bars across the country looking to maintain a little integrity in their respective contests. It allows for easy recording and, more importantly, accurate recollection of scores in question after some of the events get a little fuzzy. No longer will your Jabroni “friend” be able to claim victory on EVERY cricket game played that night and milk you for weeks of tequila shots. That is a step forward for all of humanity. The user interface is easy enough for even the drunkest champion to remember his day in the sun, and the price cannot be beat. BallerTV belongs in every man’s pocket before an outing with the lads.

I am so glad I found BallerTV! I played basketball with a group that was using BallerTV, and now I can’t stop using it too. I love how everyone I play with has their picture uploaded so it’s easier for me to know who I played with and to remember their names. Now I have a ton of new guys to get pick up games going. It also tells me who I win and lose the most with so I know how to make the best team to win. It’s great for any sport and the headlines after each game make you feel like your game was broadcast on television. Since I get the sports updates of all of the sports my connections play, I have found pick up games for the other sports I love to play. Thank you baller for making a great app!!!!

My buddies and I have had a weekly pickup ball run and I've been using baller to get them to rsvp and set up times to meet. Being able to add game results and a few stats (we mostly use points and don't bother with stuff like rebounds and assists) makes a huge difference. People play a lot harder when we put it on Baller so that's a plus.

Some things I would suggest: rank the players within the group so that we could have fairer teams and find out who the better players are.
It would also be cool to see if there are other pickup groups or teams in the area so we could play with them. The search right now doesn't really help you find anything unless you know the name of the group. Anyway all in all its a very cool app with a lot of potential stuff to make it cooler, hope they keep it going

If you want to manage your pickup squad, or just keep up with your own personal records, BallerTV is for you. It brings out the competitive side in pickup sports, just in case there wasn't enough intensity already.

Been following this app for 4 years and it gets better every year. Great to see this easy to use app. For what we get charged admission to grassroots events staying home and watching the events on this app is bargain. Can’t wait to see what’s coming next!
