This app has a decent tutorial to get you started and convince you to spend your money, but a horrible mic for reading chords. I thought it was just me being the beginner that I am playing the notes wrong even though I am following the exact instructions on how to play a chord. Turns out my frustrations were real. I had a music teacher come over so i showed him the app. He had similar difficulties (not as bad as me I’ll admit), but when you play a chord the app doesn’t read it properly. This can leave you stuck on a particular level and frustrate you out of your mind. I am now out of the two week period to get my money back and I just learned that it’s not me, it’s the app. Anyway, still not sure how I would contact support as there is no option in the app. Maybe this review will entice them to make it easily available or at the very least to contact me. I would not recommend this app to any beginning to learn guitar

I've used 2 iPad minis (4th and 5th gen), 1 iPad Pro (2019) and an iPhone 11 Pro Max with the app.
Using three different guitars and two different amps or no amp at all, the app consistently misidentifies notes played. I've been playing guitar for well over a year and have used the built-in tuner, a Boss tuner and Kliq clip on tuner, thinking that there was some issue with the tuning. The app's tuner is just not as precise as the others I use and wasn't sure if this contributed to its consistent misidentification of notes played. I've not found a combination that produces reliable results. The Eleanor Rigby lesson is a especially problematic with the E minor chord. Third fret G on the first string seems to ge reported a bunch for different chords.
My acoustic with the pick up unused and electric guitars produce the same problem for the same notes. I have a PRS Silver Sky and a Gibson Les Paul traditional and whether I use my thumb nail, no nail or guitar pick, I cannot get the chord. Using the cleanest tone on the amp with no effects, changing volume, etc. don't seem to have any effect.
The chord identification portion of the app is unreliable as well.
There's probably a specific type of acoustic setup that works okay with the app and I'm not sure what it is and don't really care.

After the first time signing up, the first lesson is tuning. There is a tuner that uses a graphic of the strings and arrows show which direction, up or down, tighten or loosen the string and a moving tick line that indicates sharp or flat. The mic picks up the sound. The problem is the tuner does not wait until the string is tune accurately and skips to the next higher string. Something as basic as that should work flawlessly not just because they they put it right up front in your face the first time you use their app, but because it is a foreshadowing of problems to come. Now I will retune my guitar with my Korg, or Polytone. But I was interested in the app. Uberchord, needs to work the problem.
