I’m not seeing any quotes on PhilosophyPhrasesEveryDay and I paid for the premium version without ads I have uninstalled and reinstalled multiple to new to no avail very disappointed

I wanted a widget. I got a button. Where the widget should be, a message from the developer saying only those who remove adds can use it in widget form. Another words, pay to get widget.

No, I don’t want to ‘buy the developer a coffee’ just to read some quotes. I tried creating the widget for it and I gotta say, that little ‘quote’ wasn’t cute. Just made me angry.

5 days out of 7 PhilosophyPhrasesEveryDay never works. Extremely disappointing and I almost want to take my money back not cus the $1 but more as a matter of principle. How could you not update PhilosophyPhrasesEveryDay one itme

Small advertisements are one thing, but my fist time opening PhilosophyPhrasesEveryDay a gigantic ad taking up the entire screen popped up. I deleted PhilosophyPhrasesEveryDay right after that. If I’m trying to reflect on life I don’t need a gigantic ad that I cannot get rid of covering everything.

I’ve purchased PhilosophyPhrasesEveryDay for my widgets and it never seems to work even after I delete PhilosophyPhrasesEveryDay and download again. It’s been like this for weeks.

I can’t get PhilosophyPhrasesEveryDay to work for more than a few seconds without it crashing. All other apps work, I’ve reinstalled PhilosophyPhrasesEveryDay twice, and restarted my phone with no luck.

This is now a blank, ad-spamming app. I was hoping I could use this with iOS 14’s new widget system, but it looks like I’ll have to wait for another dev to do it.

Update after developer response:
Thanks for letting me know! I’ve upped the rating to 3☆ but the widget won’t work for the recent iOS update. At least PhilosophyPhrasesEveryDay is functional now.

PhilosophyPhrasesEveryDay is great for just checking up on little quotes for daily veneration of great minds on great topics. Ignore the other reviews, they aren't quite the right audience for PhilosophyPhrasesEveryDay.

The original philosophers message is drowned out by obnoxious pop-up video advertisements and flashing banners. A moment of calm is this replaced by two moments of annoyance and distraction. Not worth it.

I was unable to access any quotes. It seemed as though PhilosophyPhrasesEveryDay wouldn't work even when fully loaded. Every function refers you to the Pro version for which you have to pay. Even though this is free I feel ripped off.

Can't set up notifications, The Favorites tab Crashes PhilosophyPhrasesEveryDay . Only helpful in putting a name to a quote.
