Improved Math Score

I used SAT to improve my math score, and it worked! I routinely completed one to three of the 10 question math quizzes each day for about a month. My math score improved by 90 points!

Taking the quizzes and replicating what I would do on the test day was very helpful. I love how SAT explains how to correct wrong answers, too.

They/Them are singular pronouns too :)

This is a really great app! My only complaint so far is that in one of the writing questions, the sentence was something like “the anthropologist needs to make sure their notes are neat”, and the task was to identify if anything was wrong with the sentence. I said there were no errors, and was marked incorrect because “their is plural”. While they/them is often plural, the anthropologist’s gender wasn't revealed so naturally they/them as singular works. And this isn’t even just recent with pronouns, they/them has always been both singular and plural. Just a bit annoyed that they basically said that they/them pronouns aren’t real :)

This App is very useful

I love SAT and I use it everyday. It’s just annoying when I click on Writing for Learn by concept for the this app and it takes me back to question 1. I have to remember which question I left off on and click next to that question. You can’t select a specific number. There are over 1,000 questions and by the time I get to the 500s I’ll be spending more time daily clicking to my 5 questions than I will actually answering them. Overall great app, just please add a select question feature or just leave us at the question we left off on.

Good but has errors

The questions are generally good but once in a while there are errors in the tests as well as explanations. Some errors I’ve seen are: 1. omitting parentheses when they should be there. (x+y)/z vs x+y/z are not the same but were treated the same in the question. 2. Spelling errors such as “lose” vs “loose.” You do not “loose” five points, you “lose” them.
Additionally, some questions are so poorly worded and missing info that you will be scratching your head in frustration.

I would not recommend to someone who struggles in math. You don’t need the headache. It’s okay for those who are relatively confident and can spot errors in SAT .

Seeking benefits much…

I appreciate SAT a lot because it provides countless opportunities for all the students taking the this app, but dare must I say that the best quality of SAT is its ability to instantly grade your answer sheet. Which is no longer acquired by SAT. During decisions like these , we as student’s, lose the hope of a fair student body and authority that cares more about its test takers then scheming possible ways to create more profit . The elimination of this quality represents and as I said before solidifies the “talk” that College Board cares more about their capital than providing benefits for the success is test takers.

Fellow Test Taker.

Update!

While I generally enjoyed SAT, and I don’t wish to spend too much time on particular aspects that made me give it four stars.

However, I noticed that the exams have yet to update, especially it failed to get rid of the vocabulary replacing questions that we don’t see at all in the new this app.

I think SAT would be near-perfect if the developers make some efforts to update and adjust its contents to the new this app.

Great free app

I recommend this if you have free time and want to freshen up on core subjects. There’s a vast amount of problems to solve and good explanations.

Pretty good

SAT has very good explanations for all the problems, and a good variety of problems to practice as well. The thing with all this app and ACT practices, is that you never know exactly what kind of problems you will encounter in the actual test. This is a very good app to practice though.

Bugs

I love it but it doesn’t show some of the pictures in math and also it has subtle mistakes like saying 75% off which would mean 25% but then it multiplied by 75% so it shouldn’t say off. Then it said 10% off and gave 90% which is good.

Good but unnecessarily hard

I have taken the this app before, so I know that many of the math questions specifically are MUCH harder than the ones on the actual this app. Overall a good platform but the intensity could be brought down a bit to match the actual test.

By

Good but out dated

It has a lot of detailed information and practice tests, divided by subjects. However, it is based on the old this app format. Please update the test format. Otherwise, it should have 5-star.

great but has some flaws

SAT is great and very convenient. But, it glitches a lot and the question of the day does not change every day which defeats the whole purpose. Overall, I appreciate that it’s free and easy to use.

ApParently not just for kids.

I loaded SAT for my Rising 9th Grader. In order to inspire her, I began a streak count with SAT. I’m addicted.

Great interface, horrible judgement.

I'm a writer\journalist with serious experience in the field of writing, journalism and literary criticism, yet I get 48%?
The interface is wonderful, though a bit sensitive. Overall it's not a bad application, but I question the dictomy of the developers.

Eh

SAT is good but, the questions are extremely hard. Especially in reading. I have taken many PSAT, and none are this hard...

SAT is great. It's free. Helpful explanation. But it should have an option to download content for offline using.

Love it! It's very helpful!

I'm not in high school yet, but I'm going to be a freshman and I believe that SAT is going to help me a lot during my experience/testing. Please try SAT, there is practice tests that you can repeat, and there are tutors available if needed. Once again this is a great app, and I hope whoever gets SAT, succeeds and reaches their goal. I believe in you! (I know my vocabulary is not sufficient, but SAT may help me reach my goal.)

Fantastic review questions!

SAT makes it easy to study for the this app on the go. It has great practice questions for each section, and all of them come with full explanations. Plus, it has diagnostic tests, which help you figure out which areas it would be best for you to focus on as you study. Plus all of the questions and tests are free!
