I would give it zero stars if I could. So sick of these companies ripping people off with subscriptions. You end up paying thousands of dollars for a 2 dollar app.
I hope this business model dies soon. Please stop paying subscriptions and companies will stop that model. Let’s get back to when apps were a dollar.
I just want a tool I can buy and not pay monthly for. I’d gladly pay a one time fee for an app. Even if it was 30 dollars.

I downloaded this app and it immediately wanted my email address for a free trial. They have a subscription model that they want me to pay for, but after spending half an hour searching the Internet, reviews, and the app itself, nowhere does it state what the subscription price is. Even after entering my email address into the app it does not tell me how much it's going to cost me if I want to keep using it. So over these bunk, manipulative subscription models. Stop trying to rip us off. I deleted my account and deleted the app immediately. Transparency = a feeling of honesty. Lack of transparency = looks like you're hiding something that you don't want me to know about. I'm not playing your ridiculous, manipulative sales games. Goodbye.
Update: the developer responded by saying they made these changes to comply with user feedback. So in removing the requirement to create an account to take part in a free trial, they've found the only possible option is to completely remove any information about plan pricing? Ok.........
That sounds like a really complicated dev problem to resolve, so I sat down and brainstormed solutions. I came up with one! Here it is: add a pricing page. lol

Though it states “in app purchases” when you can install the app, it’s very misleading. You begin by creating an account and are IMMEDIATELY sent to a “choose which subscription you want...” Yes...you do get a week free, but that’s a marketing scheme.
Recommendation for the app creator: give the user SOME small thing for free if they’re going to provide you with account information. If not, then allow the user the opportunity to delete their account once they realize their only “next step” after creating one is to choose their subscription. This will sound unusual, but my advice is to look at a push up counting app, and see what they offer for free, and what “add-ons” the account holder can purchase.
