, no support... a fintech app like this without help service should be a crime. Not use this for professional services, they are not serious or professional, they do look like a criminal group that is not working like a bank (sending money worked only sometimes, if you need to contact help you are doomed). the way they marketed MercadoPago for the users, it’s wrong and they should be responsible for the wrong marketing and system bugs that make this financial app risky to use, don’t waste time or money with this group, no one will answer you and the company have not organized help information or training for its workers to help people when a problem arises. Just to be clear, a real bank app works 100%; they have helping teams to answer you any time, in case anything happens. So, think many times before using this stupid app, from a group that does not give any time or dedication to improve the client experience (which is one of the worst I ever had).

Try to buy a puppy??? Worst night mare ever!!! 9 out of 10 people selling dogs on the site are fake!!! Not one has any dog !!! There just trying to steel money from people.... Don’t understand why the site doesn’t check these people out before hand ???? Very disappointed I’ll never use the site again and I’ll definitely tell my friends to stay away also !!!

I tried to do a simple transaction, and I ended up getting a headache due to the amount of bugs and their own ads trying me to force a product I didn’t want. MercadoPago is as bad as their e-commerce platform. I would recommend hiring a better QA team for this lame app

Why does MercadoPago try to create a suggestion to open PDF files with it? This is a payment app and now I see the suggestion all the time while on the Files app reading a document.

Hope this doesn’t happen to you but I added card information on Saturday and on Sunday someone was trying to get all the info by phone. They just needed the info you add to MercadoPago . Now Mercado Pago has been hacked and can’t access losing my money. I have been asking for help but now one is answer

It’s no option to initiate a complain or ask for support from MercadoPago neither from the web. There is an option to complain about the payments MercadoPagos shows in MercadoPago but there is no one to complain about transaction you are charged and didn’t really make....

Meet someone who isn’t, don’t count on Marcado Pago, since they will finish your dispute even though you had never heard again about the merchandise you bought. Good when everything’s all right, terrible when it doesn’t.

Se o vendedor é honesto (ousaria dizer que é a regra), a experiência é bem boa. No entanto, eles não movem uma palha para lhe ajudar quando você tem um problema de entrega de mercadoria. Sou cliente antigo (nível 6) e minha última experiência foi péssima.

I used to purchase from Mercado Libre for years until my phone was stolen and the Mercado Pago app was hacked, they requested money and stole from my cards! I REPORTED over and over and no response, then they charged me FOR WHAT WAS STOLEN IN THE CREDIT CARDS!!! No response and also, not coincidentally, the section for reporting does not load, THIS IS FRAUD do not put this junk app on your phone!!!

Mercado Pago owes me money for purchase I made in cash using Mercado Pago. Merchandise was damaged so I returned to company and they gave me a credit with Mercado Pago but as a foreigner of Mexico, I cannot create an account with them without Mexican identification. So now what? Will I get my money back? Isn’t this called fraud?

You may try to use it until you need customer service, then you’ll have a real hard time getting to a real person to check your case. They even gray out the phone contact after one single call… so good luck getting anything resolved…. What a joke of customer service. 😞

I understand there is a way for my money to “generate” income, but it stills in the Argentinian peso exchange, which makes the whole feature useless since the devaluation of the money in this country is greater than whatever interest the investment is able to give you.
I would like for me to be able to invest my money in an stable coin like USD or EUD :)

this payment system is very bad, while in a country like venezuela you need the money instantly the payment is delayed even having done the delivery and after they qualify you still do not release the money you need, but in an economy like the one of venezuela of happening to gain 20 $ you pass to you earn 12 $ and thus you are losing more and more money until finally it becomes effective and already what you sold nothing

Everything worked well until NOT! I had a double charge. I called the back and disputed and all was ok. Until months later they came back and claimed the payment again. Because the time from first dispute Chase won’t do anything another than contact Mercado Pago but there is no phone number registered. I have been trying to deal with Mercado Pago foe 5 months and all you can get is some Maria texting and going in circles. BE Careful with this company that doesn’t even have a contact to talk to someone! Scam!!!

Nice try but lacks any customer support (unless you reach out via social media publicly there is essentially no support available).
Also no translation option.
With more attention to customer could be great.

MercadoPago is overall good and easy enough to use, but it needs international support. Seems silly to me that if you want to pay with this app in a country other than your own you need to create a different account and go through a whole different process. This isn’t the case with Apple Pay, Google Wallet or RappiPago, so why does this app operate this way? In 2022, it seems a bit backward. People do online shopping across borders and travel in huge numbers.

Love MercadoPago. It’s my favorite. Everything done on time no need to worry about payments not gettting there on time it’s almost instantly!

Very useful and easy to use as it’s very intuitive. Of course, it can always be improved, but so far you are doing great
