Stay away from this cheap software and services – we suspect after using it for almost 9 months that this company wants you to upgrade and therefore makes it glitchy on purpose and hard for things to work. The mobile version seems to work a little bit better then that of the online version; overall it's terrible, and their updates only make things worse because they're so frequent and pointless. If you want a consistent and stable app that integrates well and works smoothly, stay away from this. We hate the "send and email" pop-up!!! Terrible design.
In the beginning I really liked Tidio however I kept noticing that I would not receive notifications on my mobile device. I would open the application and leave it on in the background and sometimes I would get chat notifications from customers but other times I would not. This is become a frustrating thing as I have a lot of missed chats and unhappy customers because I’m not answering. I would have to open Tidio and refreshing to see if there’s any shots or messages. I should not have to do this.
I’ve contacted support and every time they run a test it works, but when I have a customer on the site I don’t always get the notification. I will be looking for a different chat application to use on my website.
Love the concept but Tidio needs a lot of work. While connecting to Facebook Messenger is an option, the connection doesn’t work. It also would be great to have the capability to connect Google, Yelp, and IG for messaging purposes. The interface could stand to be changed as well. It works but it’s a bit clunky. Once there are upgrades I’m sure it will be a killer app. Until then I’ll have to pass on using it.
App is great but for some reason when I get a notification that someone is on our store and I click it it automatically just glitches me out and doesn’t take me into Tidio , I have uninstalled Tidio logged out tried everything I can but this keeps happening. It’s super annoying when I get a notification and I swipe on it and then nothing happens.
Tidio is awesome, but if I close it, I don’t get notifications. I’ve checked every setting and can’t find anything to fix this. Please add the ability to close Tidio and STILL receive notifications. I don’t want to have open apps, plus it’s a habit to close all my apps. Most apps that serve a function as important as this one does should have the ability to be closed while still able to function and notify me when a chat has come in. Other than this issue, Tidio would be five stars! It’s awesome!
My team members installed Tidio and can see each others’ conversations but after I installed only mine are visible.
I do not even know if when Tidio is launched, shoppers visiting my website can use Tidio !!!
Customer Service has been slow, just asked me questions but have no solutions.
I used the other plug-ins for less than 10 minutes because they were cumbersome or they wanted upgrades for the same features I get with this app for free. This is a comprehensive free chat service/support service. I had a question and I received an answer within two hours. So far so good! Easy to install and use and very beneficial free elements. I like being able to block users, collect IP addresses, add a profile photo, and keep chat after they have been closed.
I’ve been building WordPress sites for many years. I use all sorts of plugins, both free and paid. I needed a free live chat feature and tried a few other plugins. They sucked. Then I tried this app. From the ease of use on my site, to the customizable options, along with Tidio this is thee best integration I’ve seen in years. I had a question and their customer service got back to me in less than an hour. I was in awe. I hope this app continues to be free with the same level of support and usability they have now. If you need a live chat feature on your website this is the best free one out there.
We have been using Tidio for about a month. It has help us to convert a number of sales that would have otherwise been lost. Nice interface and not too intrusive. Helps us to deliver great customer service in an easy to use format. Thank you.
The mobile app doesn’t notify me when new users arrive (which is a very useful feature).. disappointing. Placing the picture of the operator should be an option.. they shouldn’t make it mandatory that is shown.. and when I brought this up, they suggested to just use the company logo. Making it our choice to have an avatar should be our prerogative.
Despite the beginning of this review, 4 stars still because it is a good app. (If 3.5 were an option I would have given that)
Tidio is perfect, but there is just one problem which is when you want to replay to a customer you don’t know if he is online or you should sent it though his email. Please we want an update to add this feature ASAP ❤️

If you are not using this app on your website, you are so 1990's and you need to fire your webmaster! this app is easy to use, easy to navigate, and easy to contact your site's visitors. And this app is easy to set up and get going!
I thought I had everything I needed when I installed this app to my website, but now there’s an app on my phone! Old McDonald had an app.. T I D I O :)
Being able to be notified on the fly when there’s a visitor on my site has changed. the. game. Plus being able to talk to them. 🙏
From its simplicity and the amazing interface to its bot creation tool and new email marketing feature, Tidio is literally one of the best apps I ever used.

This company and app are amazing. Fantastic chat features and Tidio receives the message as soon as the client types. Which is way better than some of the other chat apps that have a 20 second delay. I’ve tried and used many chat apps including intercom and this is by far my favorite if your looking for just chat. Did I mention it’s free??👍🏻😃
Love how I can stay connected to my web site visitors all day with Tidio. It’s quicker than email (plus some clients don’t like email) and as fast as texting (for those clients who prefer texting but aren’t ready to give out their phone number). I also love how I can see what clients are typing even before they hit send, so I can be thinking and preparing my reply to answer them quickly.
Adds a whole new element to your store allowing you to provide live chat to your customers. Receive and answer the notifications from your phone basically the same as text messaging . Had a problem with the live chat going offline when I minimized Tidio so the customer service rep adjusted it for me and now I’m online all the time and just receive the notifications . Great support .
Tidiochat has a great UI and great team behind it. They’re always available immediately to answer questions, and they’re apparently working hard to roll out new features. I’m hoping to see automatic chat transcript push to connected CRMs as well as an improved way to capture email addresses, but that’s in the works. Looking forward to updates features, and in the meantime, this app is incredibly powerful for the price point. Great work guys 👍
this app has increased Customer interaction and sell through tremendously. It gives our customers a sense of security and satisfaction knowing that there’s a real human being on the other end of the conversation. I would strongly recommend any small business employing this application into their website.

We tried out a few different apps similar to this one, and this app has blown the others away. Easy to set up, totally user friendly, app is great, and doesn’t add a lot of “bulk” to our home page. The perfect app for communicating with customers on Shopify!
I love Tidio! I’ve been using to chat with my customers, when I’m unable to be online, and it’s super convenient. I’m able to maintain customer relationship, and help answer any questions quickly! Thanks this app!
