I downloaded this on the recommendation of a friend, and I have to say, it has lead not only to healthier living, but more conscious decisions in the store generally.

It's actually amazing this hasn't come out earlier, as it sort of is a dream come true for those who really do care about sustainability and conscious trade on all levels.

Plus, it's always being updated daily, so they are on top of it!!! I cannot recommend highly enough!!

It’s an ok app, but could use a couple improvements. HowGood should have settings to only filter the features that you care about. For example, say you care about the product being environmentally-friendly but don’t care about it being 100% organic. You should be able to look at products that are environmentally-friendly but not organic. Also, they should show a general price on each item to be able to compare. Last, they should show some of the main brands such as Kirkland or Kellogg even if they don’t meet HowGood ’s standards.

Thoroughly impressed with HowGood and concept. Eliminates guesswork, and adds a level of education and empowerment to shopping that I continue to look forward to. Helps to make more intelligent food choices, in turn adding peace of mind. Smart company doing great things!

I really wish HowGood did work. It is a great idea and I do want to know where my food comes from and how the rating of the companies are. I am most interested in the crop and animal aspect of the food. However, I have checked multiple foods and for the most part it says that almost nothing meets the standards of how good. Even when I scan or type in something vegan, it still says that the animal aspect doesn’t meet the how good standards. Like how? There is no animal in it.

I'm always on the hunt for healthy, organic food for my kids without crushing my grocery budget after the first aisle. HowGood literally changed how I shop & how I think about my pantry. A must have for young momma's.

Found HowGood very helpful and user-friendly...would highly recommend it to folks in any walk of life who are looking for a quick and easy way to find healthier food options!

I'll tell you how good, just like How Good tells you how good food be good. Ya heard?! Ain't nobody got time to figure out what's what and that is why How Good figures it out for you, ya dig? How good is they!? THAT good!!

HowGood is so off. I would give less than one star. I know a few of the companies and they don’t rate them correctly. The are missing all the marks - very inaccurate and misleading. I do not recommend HowGood at all. Better off doing the research yourself.

What a helpful and clever app!

I personally have downloaded a bunch of useless apps that I have not opened in years. This is the first app that I have been using consistently ever since I have downloaded it on to my phone. I have not stopped using, searching and scanning products every single time I go grocery shopping now. It's literally like having your own personal health guru in the palm of your hands. It definitely comes in handy especially when my boyfriend is more particular about the products he likes, let's just say I don't get questioned anymore about the food that goes in his lunch and dinner. I'm not a huge organic shopper but with HowGood it has definitely changed the way I shop for products I purchase by now being more informed of the overall quality of food items I am / was consuming on a simple scale of good, great or best (which surprisingly has items that are not just organic). This company came up with an ingenious idea which shows in their dedication of extensive research with already probably more than 90% of products sold in today's market, showing / educating consumers that there's way more to it than just what's written on the label.

Finally! I've been in need of a way to figure out which products are the best in the grocery store. It is really hard to sort through all the packing info and labels, especially when I'm in a rush. this app's app simplifies food shopping while giving me confidence that I'm buying sustainable, environmentally-friendly food. HowGood makes me a better consumer!

I'm constantly trying to find answers to my food questions. What's the difference between cage free and free roaming? Is this nonorganic milk really organic and can't afford to go through the certification process yet? I'm grateful to have a trustworthy source. I shop at the Greene Grape in Brooklyn where this app ratings are posted, but this will be soooo helpful to have when I'm in not-yet-this app grocery stores. Elegant, easy to use app too.
