Simple, real time counter, love it!

I love the streamlined and simple look of QuitThatHabitTracker! My favorite part is that it shows you a running time counter, so when I open QuitThatHabitTracker , it’s got the seconds counting up which gives me instant gratification. With other apps for quitting habits (I’m quitting alcohol), I’ve always felt a little twinge of anxiousness as I wait for the day counter to change over - not so with QuitThatHabitTracker, it’s like a running reminder of my success. I also like the name - It makes me feel like it’s giving me a stern but friendly reminder, “quit that!” Finally, in my earlier stages of quitting alcohol, it helped having a social network to get exposure to other sober individuals, but it started to feel a bit heavyweight (another obligation, responding to comments etc.) and so I wanted something simple and just for me, which didn’t come with anything extra - just straightforward “habit tracking” and QuitThatHabitTracker does it! Thanks!

Needs improvement.

Doesn't let you pick certain months or numbers. Can't pick pm or a year past 2017.
Sent QuitThatHabitTracker developer an email. Hope it gets fixed. Two stars
Update: Okay. I received a response similar to the one below. But...I discontinued a habit in 2016. Yet, I still can't set the time properly because QuitThatHabitTracker won't let you pick a time past the current time even though the year, month, date is set in the past. So in order for me to set the time correctly, I'd have to wait until 9:30 pm and it's only 6:53am. Just a bit frustrating for me personally. Other people might not be bothered by this. QuitThatHabitTracker itself is fine, nothing fancy. Wish it had color change options or themes but it doesn't. No ads which is nice. Hasn't crashed on me. And the developer responded quickly to my email. I am going to keep looking for a different tracker but will definitely re download this in the future to see if there has been improvements.

I LOVE this app!!

I absolutely adore QuitThatHabitTracker and use it every single day. I was heartbroken when it changed recently and I hated that design. I love being able to see things in order and just slide left to reset. I use this to keep track of the last time I did stuff, like take over the counter medication and whatnot, so I know when I can take another dose or just keep track of how long I’ve been able to go without pain meds. I also keep track of my quitting smoking (1.5 years!), last time I got my hair cut, last time I drank soda, etc. It serves so many purposes for me on a daily basis. Thank you for reverting it back to the old design. The new layout was really pretty but all the features that I loved from the original were gone.

Simple.. Direct.. Encouraging..

QuitThatHabitTracker is exactly what my therapist, my doctors, and my Inner-Voice, recommended to help keep me focused and encouraged on my self-improvement journey.

This application is simple, direct, and is just the right type of encouragement I need during my more difficult periods of my path. Each item can be customized in just the right way to help keep you focused. The only thing I think that could make this application a complete FIVE STAR perfect app, would be the ability to add images to each item and a app-lock feature, to keep busy eyes away from your data.

I thank the developer for this remarkable application. I know with QuitThatHabitTracker and other types of practices and therapies, will help get you to that more healthier path that you so desire. CHECK IT OUT...

Excellent

I’m trying to quit drinking and the only apps I have used prior to this one were cumbersome, annoying, and gave too much bs “advice” via notifications. This one is simple, easy to use, and keeps track of how long it has been and how much $$$ I have saved. It is exactly what I needed. It has also helped me quit social media (a wonderful thing for my mental health) and while social media doesn’t cost me anything, it’s nice to be able to see how long it has been and how much happier I am without it.

My only suggestion would be a Congratulatory notification when you hit certain milestones (Congratulations! It has been 30 days since you kicked a habit!) but I will keep using it no matter what. Soda and cigarettes are going on here next...

My vices needed this

I love QuitThatHabitTracker ! I don't even like to leave app reviews but I think when an app has the number one priority of being a functioning and helpful app instead of a vehicle for driving ads and revenue, it deserves recognition.

The objective is straightforward - I see someone smoking a cigarette and then I start smoking one without thinking about it. "I want to quit doing that!" is a thought I have. Next time it happens, instead of pulling out a cigarette I pull out my phone to find the reminders I created with my support team and the timeline for how long I've accomplished and I am able to beat the craving.

I think it works so effectively in my opinion in part because I believe I use QuitThatHabitTracker as a way of supporting other efforts to rid self unwanted habits.

Track it or it doesn’t count

Tracking is very important. If you want to change your life it all starts with changing your habits. Changing your habits all starts with changing your small decisions and behaviors over a long enough period of time, compounded, to get huge results in the long run. Have you ever been bitten by an elephant? No but you have probably been bitten by a mosquito. It’s the little things in life that will get you.
But, while it is easy to fix the small things, it’s also very easy NOT to fix them. That’s where TRACKING comes in.
QuitThatHabitTracker is amazing and it will help you easily track your small wins, to change big things in your life. Download it. Use it! And GOOD LUCK! And congratulations for making yourself better. Okay, stepping off the soapbox now. All in all this is a great app.

Get in shape.
Quit smoking.
Quit drinking.
Make more prospecting calls.
Appreciate your spouse everyday.
Do whatever, just track it :-)

Solid app with a few UI frustrations

QuitThatHabitTracker has been instrumental in controlling / keeping track of my addictions. I've been able to quit coffee and porn with QuitThatHabitTracker, no joke!

Some odd choices for UI flows in editing a quit item, but QuitThatHabitTracker works fine. Also not a huge fan of the colors and some of the poor contrast with certain color blocks, but I can get over it — that's the designer in me talking.

Thanks so much for making QuitThatHabitTracker free.

Used to be great….review of version 3.00

It seems all the complaints bullied the dev to change it back to the previous version…sorry about that man… as a dev myself I know how hard you work to keep QuitThatHabitTracker running…I’ve already found my replacement for QuitThatHabitTracker so I’m likely not coming back to it, but I would 100% recommend this to anyone looking for a simple tracker. Previous Review Below:👇 Before the latest version QuitThatHabitTracker was fantastic. Simple clean and easy to use. Now, the layout confuses and creates headaches, many features are missing, and things that used to be free now require a subscription. $7.99 a year for a glorified tally tracker. Pass If you are looking for an alternative, I’d recommend QuitThatHabitTracker Nomo.

Simple & efficient

I have been enjoying QuitThatHabitTracker for about a year now and it has helped me keep up with how long I have quit smoking, drinking, how long I have been on certain meds and the like. It is such a simple app but effective all the same. I definitely recommend QuitThatHabitTracker to anyone who has some bad habits they would like to quit. Whenever I get tempted to try my bad habits again I can look at QuitThatHabitTracker and see how much progress I have made and it is usually gives me enough motivation to keep up the good work.

Needs a bug fix, keeps crashing

Just downloaded QuitThatHabitTracker again. I’ve used it before and it was great, but there is a bug that keeps making it crash even after uninstalling and reinstalling multiple times. Crack occurs when I click save, when I click to open the feedback tab and if QuitThatHabitTracker has been open for longer than 60sec. Please fix soon 🙏

AWESOME!!!!!

QuitThatHabitTracker does everything you’d want it to do and the interface isn’t crowded with ads. The developer seems like a great guy, only asking for donations to support QuitThatHabitTracker . I think everyone would benefit from QuitThatHabitTracker and it is better than any app I found that assists in solving similar problems. My favorite part is it allows you to input vices specific to you rather than selecting from a predetermined list so you can completely customize it to your own needs!

Great Interface - no ads

Beautiful, easy to use interface and a bonus - NO ADS! The creator writes a little about why he developed QuitThatHabitTracker and I must tip my hat to him for doing such a cool thing for others to improve instead of just looking to cash in on his ability to make a useful application. Best of luck on whatever you are quitting to improve your life - QuitThatHabitTracker will give you an easy, clean way to check out your progress and feel motivated to keep going!

Practically perfect.

Of course I’d like a bigger save icon, the ability to have different themes, and perhaps even a feature where my iPhone wallpaper, without icons, could be visible in the background, but other than that QuitThatHabitTracker has been perfect for tracking my bad habits for over a year. Finally donated as much as I can because QuitThatHabitTracker works perfectly the creator deserves his due for keeping it ad free. Thanks man!

So Helpful!

I used to self injure and something that makes it easier for me to stop myself is to think about how long it has been since my last self harming behavior. QuitThatHabitTracker allows me to track to the second I decided I was going to stop, lets me see how far I’ve come and encourages me to not self harm again! Thank you so much for creating QuitThatHabitTracker! Quality content.
