Account verification never went thru. Waiting for another email

I am unable to send messages on the app. I have performed all the ‘fix’ issues suggested. (Reset network, shut VPN off, closed and reopened the app, deleted the app and reinstalled) I still receive message the gtl Gettingout app is experiencing difficulties and to try again later. ???? My contact is offline? Can anyonehelp?

I am able to send messages using the app, but it will not allow me to send pictures. The ‘+’ in the bottom left corner of the chat view is missing

Hello, For some odd reason my husband's messages are going through. I get the notification that he sent a message, but nothing shows up when I open the app or login on my desktop

i have been trying to add money to my sons account for two day and its not letting me it say it deposit cant be made. tech support number just hangs up what do i do to get this fixed so i can talk to my son.

I got a notification saying I got a message and when I clicked it, it’s blank and says cannot load messages, cannot load contact lists, etc. I’ve deleted n redownloaded the app n it’s still not working

I keep having issues trying to make a deposit in to any account!! This is a poor replacement for jpay!!

The app does not let me complete a deposit transaction. There is no Go or complete or done function anywhere.

When I go set up a video visit, it will say select your contact. I select the contact and it pulls up there contact information again, so I select the contact again. After that it just keeps repeating this step over and over again.

The deposit screen is all black with "error"....when I push on info it crashes.

My husband and I use to video chat at least 3 times a week .... he tries to connect with me and it does not connect or ring on my side? is there something wrong on my end ... I did upgrade my phone to a apple 14 max pro ... maybe i have the setting wrong ... please help .... other than that i love this app .. being able to connect with your incarcerated loved ones ..

I put 25 dollars on there to talk to my friend and it won't let me send messages to him at all. Keeps saying I don't have enough money on my account. I don't know how seeing I got 25 on there. A email that costs 25 cents should go though but it won't let me send anything.

Everyday i have the same issue with both the getting out app and the getting out visits app. Yall take my money freely but yet i can barely get good use out of this app. Half of the times my video calls dont come through, then my messages stay stuck on pending for long periods of time. no my messages arent being flagged because there isnt nothing bad in the message. This is an everyday ongoing issue.

My video visits keep freezing

Every time I go to visit with my son. I can see his face on the camera but he cannot see my face on the camera. I’ve use my camera for FaceTime in other app so what is going on.

Can't schedule a visit. I have been able to get a text through. When the contact is selected the screen only reverts back to the page to select a contact no matter how many times you do it. Everything is set. My account has a verified number, an approved profile pic and money deposited on it. It does this on the app and when I login to getting out on my laptop. Can someone help me?

I used a "TEXT NOW" number when creating GTL account and put $10.00 in it so I could text a friend inside. My internet service is not good enough for vid chats so I wanted to use the TEXT feature GTL offers so I wanted to switch GTL primary account phone number and use it but it is only thing the app would NOT let me change. I got the run-around from their "HELP" and "HELP CENTER", submitted a detailed request to them and even called the "TOUCH PAY" number (866-204-1603) and after several months, the issue still remains. I feel I need therapy in the wake of all my attempts to have a SIMPLE change to MY account or learn telepathy so anyone out there has that skill....I'm all for learning. Or has some app been created to stop or block our choices or ability to try to do that as well????

When I click on my info an error pops up and says it can not load my profile at this time. When you close the pop up the message just stays reoccurring and won’t do anything else after that point

Hello. After the Getting out 3.2 update that kept popping up on my screen, it is now saying that the getting out messaging app is not available in my region/country which is Illinois USA. I need to stay in contact with my family member, can this issue be resolved?

Our son, at Chuckawalla, reports that sometime in the past 48 hours his old GettingOut messages have been "rearranged". All of the messages are now in reverse chronological order. And, his outgoing messages are no longer merged with our messages to him. When he wants to refer to a recent message, he has to scroll back through dozens and dozens of old messages. Is there anything he can do to correct this or can GTL correct the problem?

BS A$$ app. I open it up just get the buffering spinning wheel for days. Y’all quick to take that money and slow to approve pics though.

I have the same problem others have reported. After typing in perhaps 40 characters of a text message, the screen freezes completely or else takes a long time to show the typed letters. I compensate by sending multiple short messages.

Started last night can’t get on to app it just spins I restarted my phone many times please help!

When I'm trying to send a message it let's me write a few sentences then it starts freezing up forcing me to close app. If I choose wait for app it just crashes. Eiither way i lose my messages everytime. This just started almost a week ago.

im unable to keep in contact with my luv one because everytime it ask me to verify my account and once completed i go to send the message and it asks me to re verify again constantly sending me in a loop for the past 4 months. Message not sent. And balance is incorrect. Deposit shows 40 + 25 = $65 deposited since August. Balance on text says .05¢

I can receive messages from my fiance who is an inmate at Beaver County Jail but when I try to send a message it doesn't show pending or anything it automatically says message sending failed in red and he made sure I wasn't blocked for anything like that

When he calls me.. it don’t ring. It just sends a notification that is a very lite beep. Barely noticeable. What don’t It ring instead like a call is supposed to.

I've been trying to login to website to send a message and it states that the page has been moved or no longer exists.

You say you provide reliable communication for people but my husband hasn't been able to even get into his account (in prison) for the last 24 hours and I keep getting errors on my app...for the amount of money people spend on this supposed reliable app you should at least be making sure its working for both inmates and their family on the outside!

Can't see inmate message. And can't see past messages that were part of conversation. I've reinstalled numerous times and rebooted phone. App is not working and need someone to fix this asap.

still having problems with the app not working properly. won't let me send or receive messages to my love one when needed. the app wont stop buffering or freezing. tried uninstalling and re downloading and still nothing works right.

It has been loading/buffering since yesterday night. The app keeps refreshing and at times it states I have no contacts on there. Some of my pictures are delayed in sending and messages that are supposedly sent do not show up. I am still being charged for the message. It will then show up the NEXT day. I had to make an entire new account because it wouldn't send the link to reset my password.

I have been trying to add funds for days. I am in Ontario Canada and my fiancee is in North Carolina. I spent over 8 hours phoning and being put on hold yesterday. You customer service is useless. Litteraly full of clueless idiots. You have taken away the option to add a Province or postal code to finish adding a payment. It is 2022 and a monkey could program and run this site better. This is sad and pathetic. Everything your top notch staff told me to hasn't worked. One even told me to use a fake account in the USA to make my payment go through. Guess what? That didn't work either. This is my life line to my man. I am going to the BBB and reporting this company. Not to mention all the funds that go missing from my account for messages you don't put through. This company should be ashamed of how they treat people.
