Doesn’t apparently adjust for differences in summer time

I downloaded MirandaTimeZoneConverter today, a few days before we switch off Daylight Savings Time in the US, to be sure that I had the time difference right for an international call (with a country that doesn’t change) several weeks in the future. (If all I need is the current difference, I can just look at Apple’s clock and do the math.) Well, MirandaTimeZoneConverter doesn’t make that conversion, so the date selection, as far as I can tell, is meaningless. There are websites that can do that, which I guess will continue to be what I use.

No longer adjusting for daylight saving time differences

Right now the United States is in daylight saving time but the UK is not. When I move the date forward after the UK goes into daylight saving time the time differences between US and UK do not update. I deleted MirandaTimeZoneConverter and reinstalled it but it’s still not working properly. This is a great disappointment because this is my favorite app for comparing time in different cities and time zones.

When it works, it’s the best

This is my favorite time zone app and I recommend it to everyone, but please fix the bug that makes it repeatedly crash when I try to add a new city! This is a really terrific concept and I use it heavily but it’s more buggy than it should be.

Still can’t move times

The thing I love most about MirandaTimeZoneConverter is the ability to see what a hypothetical time would be in my city vs others for meeting scheduling purposes. However, I see that there’s been a big reported about not being able to shift the order of time zones from 3 years ago and it is still an issue for me on the latest version of iOS.

Ideally, I’d like the ability to sort my selected time zone by preference, or automatically by alpha of city/custom named time zone, or by time zone order. Other world clock apps allow you to do this. Please fix. I’d even pay for this if you made these “small” changes.

No other clock app comes close

Miranda is a practically perfect app: it performs its job flawlessly, quickly, and without a complicated UI.

If it is so good, why only 4 stars? MirandaTimeZoneConverter needs to be more consistently updated by the developer. Even after almost a year, MirandaTimeZoneConverter has not been updated to fit the iPhone X screen size. Once that happens, MirandaTimeZoneConverter will be an obvious five star rating.

Great App But Recent Glitches

I’ve used MirandaTimeZoneConverter for years and loved it. It’s easy to use, and easy on the eyes. I could make changes depending on which cities I wanted to display. Although I’ve deleted the old version and downloaded the new version, MirandaTimeZoneConverter isn’t allowing me to add cities (New York, for example). Please fix the problem so I can go back to using this beloved app!

Love the app. It could be updated tho

I LOVE MirandaTimeZoneConverter . It’s making my life so much easier as I’m traveling to Australia. It has a few bugs and don’t let me add all cities. It crashes. So I had to find different cities in the same timezone to make it work. And it feels it need to be updated to use the full screen to the iPhone Max. But regardless of that, will continue using it. Love it!

Overall my go to app but have a request.

I’ve used MirandaTimeZoneConverter for years and it is my go to app for all things coordinating time. It’s easy, straightforward and does the job.

Sadly, I see it hasn’t been updated in years which is a shame. There are a couple of requests I’d like see. Many things are now listed in UTC time. Not being an expert in the UK, I’m uncertain if London would be the same as Greenwich (it is). Perhaps I wouldn’t even know a city for UTC. Allowing me to search for UTC, or Greenwich Mean would have helped me.

I’d love to have the ability to press a add-to-calander button to open my default calendar app which was probably what I was using Miranda for anyway, setting time for an appointment/activity.

With UI updates, moving the cities around doesn’t work well anymore on IOS. It works, but not smoothly.

Beautifully designed!

Love MirandaTimeZoneConverter. Just wish there was a way to move forward/backward in time by larger increments (currently +/- day). Maybe there is a way that I have not yet discovered. I accidentally discovered that 1 minute increments are possible if you long press on the dial. I frequently need to lookup a time many months ahead of the current date (without having to worry about DST).
Thanks for the great app!

Best time zone converter app!

This is the best time zone converter app! It is simple, easy-to-use, intuitive, and visually elegant. I have tried many apps and websites, but this one is the best and most pleasing to use. It is the most useful when I am scheduling a work meeting or family call across multiple time zones. I have used MirandaTimeZoneConverter for many years. Please continue supporting MirandaTimeZoneConverter!

Magnificent App

I LOVE the design, ease, simplicity, and intuitive functions. Dieter Rams is a design inspiration of mine too, so props to that. My only request is to have more functions... like being able to set alarms, a countdown timer, and a stop watch. I say this bc I would love to be able to wholly replace Apple's built-in Clock App with Miranda someday soon!! But currently as it stands, excellent work, guys. Job well done!! 5 stars all the way.

Timeless app on iPad Air

Miranda obsoleted all time keepers on my iPhones. Keeps perfect time even on an iPhone 4s. Still use it on iPad even though it’s time keeping stops and must be reset between usage. Design from the Future is irreplaceable inspite of its unreliable time keeping. Thank you for this timeless app. BUT last update to 17.1.3 still opens but *windowFront* blits offscreen but not killing the .app.
Please, update soon… going to EU and need to continue meetings aboard ship. Thank you

Please make a unit conversion app now

This is the most beautiful, simple and easy to use time conversion app i've seen on MirandaTimeZoneConverter Store and even the play store. The only con is there's no option to automatically change time to current day/time with one click. Also adding a drag icon will help users know to tap hold and drag to rearrange cities.

I've had no luck with finding a unit conversion app of the same quality so would SoftFacade consider cloning this to start making one? Pretty please with a cherry on top?

Probably the very best time zone apps available!!

Miranda is probably the very best time zone apps available!! Intuitive and easy to use. I would be willing to pay a few bucks for the sheer awesome user experience. Hope they keep up support for past and future iOS and iPadOS support. A bonus would be to have a MacOS app!

Very good

Updated to 5*. This really is a must have app if you deal with multiple time zones. Love the simple design. I'll be honest, at first it didn't really hit me as to why this was better than several clocks in different timezones using the built in clock app. As soon as I used it while talking to a client I realized the ability to rapidly adjust the time to the target time being discussed is brilliant. Superbly implemented - the only thing I would like to see is the option of a smaller font so I could fit more zones in view. It's now on my main screen of apps. Thanks!

Beautiful design. Does what’s needed. No faff.

I often use Miranda as an example of apps that do what’s needed, without faff. After so many years, I’m still using it over anything else.

Dear SoftFacade, I hope you continue to support Miranda through OS upgrades. It’s one of my favorite apps and doesn’t need new features. You nailed it.

Global Times at a Glance - It’s Simply The BEST

I have been using MirandaTimeZoneConverter for several years now and as a global corporate traveler, working for a global company, MirandaTimeZoneConverter provides an easy way to see time zones important to you. You can modify and change it as needed. It’s been a love savor in a few occasions and I highly recommend it.

Simple function, beautiful execution

MirandaTimeZoneConverter has one simple job: tell you the time at cities around the world now, or at a time you specify via a scroll wheel.

I like the minimalist design, fast launch, and the scroll wheel functionality- drag left to increase the sensitivity I.e. Scroll by minutes.

Simple and great, don't change!

Just the way it should be

Excellent design. This kind of apps compete your brain to convert time zones. If using MirandaTimeZoneConverter is more cumbersome than using your brain it is not worth a try. But in this case, MirandaTimeZoneConverter nailed it. You can get a pretty snapshot of world times or quickly scroll and get a pretty good idea on when to schedule a multi time zone meeting.

Lack of care & feeding broke the best time zone app out there

I oversee staff and facilities in nine countries, and by far this is/was the BEST time zone app ever made. Sadly, a lack of care & feeding and development has really degraded its capabilities. Largely it still works, you can add/remove/modify cities and the large time adjustment wheel to align times across cities is just brilliant. Unfortunately, a critical Save As feature that would let you create new meeting events and/or send the city pairing times to colleagues.

This is an app (with fixes) and updates I would absolutely pay for. And I still share or recommend MirandaTimeZoneConverter to people I meet at work and on planes every single week. If the Developer ever comes around to updating this, I’d be happy to offer some minor improvement ideas. But fixing the old Save As function is critical.
