Used to love app before started cutting off

I love listening to the news as I am getting dressed or doing something where I can’t watch news. This app used to be great but over the past few months has started cutting out after only a few minutes. It says I need to check my connection, but I have great connection and can stream other app videos and more. It is an app issue that makes it unusable.
Last update removed the ability to listen in background

I previously would do other things on my phone and listen in the background. Can no longer do that.

The app is fine for the most part. It does drop signal sometimes. My problem is with WOKV as a station! Could you stop interrupting scheduled programming?!?! I don’t listen to this station for its “amazing insight” 🙄 I LISTEN FOR THE PROGRAMS YOU CARRY! Believe me if I could hear them someplace else I would!
