I'm a casual rider and not interested in paying for a subscription (in an app market flooded with monetizing fee mongers) for some basic ride tracking. bikeApp worked flawlessly and is going to be worth the one time price after the 60 day trial. Mapping, distance, auto pause and background running with voice alerts were all I wanted and this has that and way more. Easy to customize, read and use - long press activation is smart. Great job, and thank you for offering a non-subscription app (the only one I think, with this much stuff)!

I have a wireless cateye strada that I’ve used for years. This FREE app is far superior to that. Super easy to use and customize, even writes data to appleHealth if you want. Provides all the information and more than I was looking for and needed. Total distance did not quite match up to cateye, but I can live with that. The voice prompts were great and kept me from slacking off during the ride. I was flabbergasted with all the details and customization in this FREE app! Thank you for this.

Simple to use and has everything I want: average speed, time per each mile, total time, total distance, total ascent, fastest mile, slowest mile, pause feature, and mapped route.
I’ve never had any issues. A minor drawback is that location services must be always on for bikeApp. The location services “only while using bikeApp ” option does not work with bikeApp. However, very happy with bikeApp overall.

bikeApp works great, I send a screen shot of my path and statistics to my family after each ride. The voice summary after each mile provides my time amd mph to see my progress on each 1 mile section of my ride. Ive already dropped a second off my mile time. I recommend bikeApp, makes riding fun.

I like the usability and simplicity of bikeApp. Only two downers for me: I’ve twice lost ride data because I swiped bikeApp before I hit the little save link (maybe I’m missing an auto-save setting?). And the other thing is that it doesn’t work for me when I have location services set to ‘While Using bikeApp ’. I always have to switch it to Always. Address those two things and it’s a 5.

Nice app for tracking bike rides. Vocal details of speed, time and distance while you ride. Is a nice feature. Statistics are useful and ride map is also a good feature. Good support from developer. Questions answered quickly. Location services must be on “always” to use app and be sure to save the ride after you stop tracking.

I have tried almost every bike running walking app out there. I really believe this is the best for me. It has just enough features without going over board. I ride about 10 miles every other day. I walk just about every day. I like the big buttons, the data viz, the mapping. For me this works. Thanks!

I took up bicycling in my rural neighborhood during the pandemic, and basically wanted to know how far I went, how long it took, compare each day to look for improvement, and listed to music while I rode.

This might be good if the U.I. wasn’t so confusing and hard to read. Causes more rides to be lost than recorded. Audible progress updates are so faint as to be inaudible. (Could be problem w/my iPhone I admit). Needs a large, easy to read, unambiguous indication that bikeApp is running or not. Instead has tiny arrow with a ring that disappears in half a sec. Is it running or not? Who knows? Might be. Limited features in free version but with these display shortcomings I’m not motivated to pay for more of the same.

Great little app! I plan to purchase when the trial is over. The other one I tried would not stay connected when my phone was in my pocket. This one does!

Once you figure it out there’s lots to like about bikeApp. One glitch is that the music library interface conflicts with Apple Music. Needs better integration to avoid dual media playing! Also it’s fussy if you are under tree cover not near roadway or good cell coverage. I recommend though.

I would like to see clearer maps and maybe a function to design routes before riding but otherwise it’s fine. Best use is for keeping track of basic data, speed distance time and such.

It’s got everything I could want except a countdown to start my activity like my running app. I lose a little off my pace while putting my phone away and getting started.

I like being able to know my distance, speed and so forth. It helps to keep me motivated. The customer service is awesome too! I asked a question, and he was quick to offer me guidance.

bikeApp was awesome when I first tried it. Better then most of the other apps I tried. It tracked my bike ride and saved to apple’s health app.
However, about a month ago it stopped working. It would randomly stop tracking my ride — sometimes it stopped recording the specifics (ie only the start and endpoints and show my path as the bird flies) and other times, not record anything at all.
I hope they fix bikeApp .

My only issues are 1) doesn’t display mph and 2) shuts off my podcast when I start bikeApp. Still a great app, as I can work around the minor annoyances.

Don’t know how u lived without it. Has every feature that you need and lets me compete with myself every ride.
Just perfect!

bikeApp allows me to keep track of every ride I make and shows me where all I went too. I love it!

It’s has everything you need, easy to read for us old guys . Would like to see heart rate but I have other ways to check that. Would recommend bikeApp to anyone.

Best feature: Download and go, no ID or intrusive social login ID necessary. Quick responses to customer support make this a winner.

Lost data while trying to figure out how to send riding info to my phone's health app. It's either not clear or doesn't work, so now I'm looking for another App that functions more intuitively.

bikeApp really doesn’t work it’s very confusing I think that I’m documenting my bike rides when I go to check nothing I’m done with it

bikeApp bites. It shut off in the middle of my ride... AGAIN.
I cannot trust it. It won’t upload to Facebook either.
There are TOO MANY APPS LIKE THIS ONE.
