ShiaCompanion is totally unusable unless you buy the PRO app

I had to change my rating because of these problems:

1. Calendar not synced to Hilal sighting.
2. I don't want an athan notification but I just need the prayer time notification. When I choose notification without sound, it keeps giving me sound anyway.
3. The calendar is missing impor... Show more tant events like wafayat and mawaleed.

Just purchased pro and I'm a new convert. My only problem so far is that the prayers are in Arabic and English only... I can't read Arabic... So, I have no idea how to pronounce the prayers... ShiaCompanion needs that and perhaps some links to videos to show me how to do the prayers... And ablutio... Show more ns the Shia way... I had another app that did all this but it was for Sunni, which is a little different, or so I'm told.

ShiaCompanion is great but please keep up with the current iOS.

As salaam alaykum. I'm new to Apple, so pardon my ignorance. Why does ShiaCompanion only play for a minute, it barely gets all four Allahu akbars and the same for surah recitation? I'd like to rely on this tool to wake up to a surah and then listen to the adhan .... by itself, without me having to... Show more engage my phone.

I'm grateful for all your services, just a question for my peace of mind.

I tried looking for other apps catering towards practicing Shias and I kept coming back to this one for its simplicity,layout, and accessibility. Great so far, wished it had transliteration for those who are fluent in reading Arabic. JazakAllah khair.

ShiaCompanion is wonderful but it needs to have transliteration. It will help people who don't speak Arabic learn the prayers and Duaa in Arabic.

It sounds like Sunni Adan all it says is Asalat Asalat not to the whole Adan. Other than that it’s good

I love ShiaCompanion, it helps me pray mostly on time And i loved all new features in the new update Supplications, Ziyaraat’s, etc. I just one request that for the developer’s that please keep updating ShiaCompanion regularly so there will be no bugs and stuff in ShiaCompanion because i saw you... Show more guys last updated ShiaCompanion almost 5 years ago so i really hope this time you guys update ShiaCompanion almost regularly. And I’m facing a little bug in this new update as well where i select Azan #3 for prayers but when it’s prayer time it gives totally different azan not the one i selected so if you guys can fix that hopefully.

Amazing app and the unlocking is worth every penny!

Just would like to report a small bug, after changing manually the date in the lunar calendar the events will not open, I guess it's a small bug and I hope they fix it soon. Amazing app must download

This is an amazing amazing app, very well designed and organized. Has everything a Muslim needs, from salat to prayers and calendars, even includes important dates like the days of Ashura and arbaeen. The pro version includes a compass and many Duas. ShiaCompanion is everything I need to keep up with Duas, however with my waning eyesight I cannot read all the Arabic characters. Since we have so many converting here in America, it would be helpful if you added Roman transliteration for the Arabic so that English speakers could start using Arabi... I've been looking for a well made prayers times app that is functional and visually pleasing at the same time for a while now, finally I found one that is and so much more.

Once ShiaCompanion is downloaded and opened you'll be greeted with a nice tutorial to familiarize yourself with ShiaCompanion , a nice touch, but not until after you select whether you want ShiaCompanion to fetch your location to determine prayer times. I love that it sets up without me needing to do anything. But even if your location changes, recalibrating is a breeze.

If you want to unlock more of the features you'll have to pay £1.45 which is equivalent to $2.99? Well worth it IMHO.

ShiaCompanion has other features too aside from just calculating prayers times. It notifies the user when prayer time starts with a selection of three different athan recitors. Also it gives the option for having The Holy Quran recited by 3 different recitors at a time interval of your choice prior to athan notification. It has multiple counters for tasbih, and has selections of Ziyarat (visitations) and Duas' (supplications). It also features a calendar with highlighted events.

I can't praise ShiaCompanion and the developers enough. Jazakum Allah Khayer and thanks for your efforts! Please keep up the good work. Looking forward to more of your apps.

Could really use a widget for prayer times and munasibat. Also, compass for direction of the various Imams (as).

ShiaCompanion is truly my companion. I couldnt have imagined someone could make an app that could make our lives so much easier be it Muharram, Ramadan, regular prayers, taqeebat or what ever. It’s a free app with fairly good settings to allow you to customize it to make it more practical.

I use it all the time without issues.

Feedback button in ShiaCompanion doesn’t work though.
In the Supplications and sitar at section it has a subsection on rajab and shaaban. Howe... Show more ver it only shows Rajab. So it seems clear ShiaCompanion is still getting improved. I’ll keep using it.

This is a beautiful app that has so many features which are easily accessible! Excellent job masha'Allah!
