It is a good way to track time HOWEVER! The buttons for CLOCK IN AND OUT AND THE 30 MIN MEAL BREAK OUT AND MEAL BREAK IN. It gets confusing because of the colors and how it is lay out. For clock in it says track time. It should at least say START or make the colors and shapes better. Specially for beginners who are starting a first job. They should also have an option to request HR correct a time. Such a time correction form or time correction tab or something. Asking why it needs ro be corrected so we don’t have to contact pay roll! Or it should be smart enough to notice if it needs correction if the Meal break has been 5hrs or something. ITS A BASIC APP. NOTHING SPECIAL. Needs a better way to set it up the buttons more clear, request, colors more understandable, A TUTORIAL would be better, A TESTING option, TIME CORRECT REQUEST tab. Etc. gosh i am giving you ideas! Yeah , JustworksTerminal needs WORK!!! Hopefully an update coming soon! Ok ive complained enough!

JustworksTerminal constantly bumps me out of breaks or just doesn’t take my inputs.. whoever thought to put the break/checkout buttons at the bottom of the UI has no experience with phones, constantly have to double check it didn’t punch me back in or out.. seems almost daily I’m adding in the notes section this break wasn’t 1min, this checkout had a error.. all I can say is thank god for screenshots and cameras.

I will say JustworksTerminal is an improvement on the website, which makes you do all the math yourself to figure out how much paid time you have and how long till you have to clock out. But I can be literally staring at the interface waiting for “7 hours 59 minutes” to change to 8 hours, and as soon as I see it I hit “check out” and my time card says 8:01 for no reason. Then payroll people have to go edit my time card. It would be easier for everybody if we just used a spreadsheet.

I have terrible eyes and use Larger Text on my iphone to make things easier. However, JustworksTerminal does not properly support larger text, and I was unable to access any of the lower options (including the register with Justworks log in) until I turned it off. Scrolling is not available, everything just gets cut off.

Please accommodate larger text, I can’t keep switching it on and off and restarting my phone.

Entering hours on the iPhone 14 Pro can be frustrating because it's limited to the desktop. The screenshots might give the impression that you can do it on the phone, but the actual user experience doesn't match up with this expectation in reality. This discrepancy can be misleading and disappointing for users, especially considering the developers haven't addressed this issue to make it more user-friendly.

I recently joined a company who uses JustWorks / Justworks Hours for payroll, etc. I can say the Justworks - just does not work.. at all.
It’s been almost two weeks and nothing seems smtp work here.
Do yourself a favor and use a different company entirely to handle timesheets etc..
If you have no choice other to use this as I do, be sure to keep a solid personal record.

Please fix I will re-rate. If you work past midnight it will apply the entire shift to the next day. It should end the shift and start a new one for the next day. This causes havoc when you work into or out of a holiday.

Also repeats this behavior week to week so if you work Friday past midnight you lose that entire shifts overtime not just what is worked past midnight.

This means that if I work 50 hours in a week and 4 of it if Friday night I will only get 46 hours and the other 4 move to the next week as normal pay. Not cool

I don’t even want to know what is going to happen when I drive over a time zone on the clock, at midnight, during a holiday that’s on a Sunday while it’s raining. Phones probably going to explode.

Past that it’s pretty cool but please please please make like a buzzer you can turn on when my physical location is near my work. I will re-rate and change this review if I that happens, but like this it causes problems with my paycheck. Not cool.

JustworksTerminal could be extremely useful…except for the fact that everyday for the past 3 weeks employees try to “clock out” and it give them an invalid date error. The date does back to 2009, so everyone has to scroll through 14 years to get to the correct date. Such a pain, since there isn’t an easy way to change the date and year besides scrolling. Time to look at better options.

Like others have said, the time tracking buttons are placed right at the spot where you swipe to close out JustworksTerminal . This causes constant problems. I’m at the point where I have to make notes of my hours every because they often don’t get logged correctly. All my coworkers have this problem as well. The first week using JustworksTerminal a few people ended up losing days of work hours because of this.
Otherwise, JustworksTerminal works well.

I was first introduced to JustworksTerminal at my recent job. Although at first I was a little confused on JustworksTerminal , I have quickly become so fond of it! There is no waiting until someone is done at the register to clock in/out, and if you mess up your hours you can update that in JustworksTerminal . If you aren’t getting the hang of it too well, then the assistance they provide is super helpful. JustworksTerminal sends you step by step on how to log in/create account/comment/etc.
The only thing that I wish would change would be a reminder on JustworksTerminal you could set to remind you to clock in/out because some people like myself, can be a little forgetful. All in all, it’s a great app!

All in all, this is a really great app. The only problem I’ve been having is the following:
After I have checked in for work and I swipe up to get a new screen, it will often think that I am tapping the “start break” when I’m really just trying to clear the screen. And then hours later I’ll discover the mistake and my manager has to override it when looking at time sheets. It happens all the time - whether it’s ending a break, checking in, etc — it’s the swipe of the screen that follows the action that leads to the mistake. I would so appreciate it if someone could tell me if there’s a way around this and if not, I wonder if everyone runs into this. Thank you!!

Nice UI but sometimes whenever I clock in JustworksTerminal lags then clocks me in but also says that I’m immediately on break.
The point:
- laggy and slow loading times
-glitches whenever clocking in/out or in break

I think this is well-designed promising app. Simple and gets the job done for tracking hourly workers. Looking forward to seeing JustworksTerminal improve and grow.

This makes working for a employee or employer so much easier to track everyone’s hours and weekly pay. I love it. So glad to have found JustworksTerminal

My soul is a bottomless pit filled only by boomr. Every time I see JustworksTerminal on my phone I feel the urge to let those blessed words escape my mouth. Ok, Boomr. I feel strength surge throughout my body as I drop the metaphorical kamikaze of ok boomr on the metaphorical Pearl Harbor that is boomers. Truly an 11/10 experience

So far this is an easy app for our birth center especially because we can be all over the city but our phones are always with us.

We needed an app we could feed into our HR application and had a variety of options for time entry (web, app, kiosk, and with geofencing!). Very intuitive setup, easy to use, and an incredibly responsive support team. Highly recommended!

JustworksTerminal is great and works well. We had an old app we used previously that was very hard to navigate and make changes. I like this because I know exactly what time I’m clocking, how long my breaks are and I could track expenses. It seems to be working well for my agency!

Boomrs’ app is very user friendly...fast and efficient! Exactly what an app should be! With just one click you can not only track your hours, but your cumulative earnings for the pay period! Reviewing previous shifts and earnings is just as easy! So glad my employer switch to Boomr!

I enjoy JustworksTerminal, so user friendly. It rarely glitches and when it does, easy to fix. Very easy to use .
