Newsmax Status

Your app freezes up & repeats after 30-45 min. Into watching. We love NewsMax but are very frustrated with these problems. What can be done to fix this?? Seems a lot of people have the same problems.

Like your station(204), but TV sound is constantly cutting in and out.

I am having to sign into news max plus a lot. Some times I get dropped and have to sign in again. I do not have this problem with other programs I stream. When you pay for something you expect better. Do you have plans to fix this and how long will it take? Maybe I should cancel watch newsmax 2 and try again another time.

You keep advertising your new app which I signed up but it is not working properly. I have emailed several times with no response. I would no recommend this to anyone. The programming is wonderful but if the app does not get better you will loose customers. I have to sign in every time I leave the app. The other problem is the freezing/repeating throughout programming. And then missing content when it has to catch up when it froze. It's impossible to watch. This is the only app that I have that does this. And it does it on all devices, phone, TV, kindle. This is a deal breaker!!!!!!!!

We have to enter our user name and password every time we want to watch Newsmax+ on all of our TV’s. We hadn’t had any problems until 2 weeks ago. Please help with this. If it’s not resolved I doubt that I will renew. Very annoying!

I keep getting logged out and having to clear data then log in again. It’s very frustrating

Newsmax2 TV app for firestick shows "Something Went Wrong" massage several times a day and requires clearing buffer and logging in again. Email address and password are 40 characters and constant logging back in is painful! It use to work!

Keeps making me sign in every time I get out.

My issue is that every time I click on the app on my tv it keeps asking me to restart or delete data, this is annoying as hell. Having to keep recording information is time consuming especially when I'm pressed for time. Please fix the problem!

Love Newsmax + but I’m sad tonight because it plays a few seconds and then acts like it is trying to restart. If that makes sense to you. Plays a few seconds, freezes, and the “loading dots” kick in and it plays again a few seconds…….. Help!

Every morning we need to clear data from the app and log back in before it works.

My newsmax app via Amazon fire keeps loosing my account login information. I have to login everyday! Why? This is not an Amazon problem.

News max giving "something went wrong" message on two different tvs. Reinstalled app with no luck. Have to "clear data" and log in again to fix it. Getting to be a nuisance! One fix that kinda works is going to newsmaxtv.com on the web and watch there but that sucks. Will probably cancel unless they fix the problems

I have to sign into app everytime I use it. The connection is thru a firestick, I even uninstalled the app and reinstalled but having the same issue. Very frustrating.

The message that appears on TV screen the past two nights "Something went wrong" with 3 choices (restart app, clear data, exit app) Last night tried to login and had difficulty with that.

I just logged out of the app, went to log back in I get a message something went wrong! This has happened three days in a row now. Get it fixed or I’m canceling my subscription. When the app was free this did not happen!

I prefer to watch Newsmax but I get very put off with the glitches. Sometimes it freezes up other times I am required to log out and Re-login to restart the app. I lost the first 20 minutes of the Rob Schmit

I am so disappointed in Newsmax Plus. Having connecting issues, ( saying being logged out.) If I want to watch news, I have to do a search logging in with password. Sometimes it will connect and sometimes it will not. This Should not be happening. Please indicate if this problem will be fixed soon, if not I will have to find another news forecast. To aggravating. I have read Newsmax Plus reviews, and I am having the same issues as other subscribers, so it is not my internet. Please advise. We were true believers of the old Newsmax.

Started out good a week ago and now just started to have connection problems (it would play and stop every 10 to 15 minutes, sometimes every 5 minutes) and now cannot get the Samsung APP to bring up the Newsmax+ APP. Not even getting the option to reinstall.

I stream newsmax+ Sometimes on firetv and sometimes on roku. The sound levels on several commercials increase to a deafening level, such that I have to keep my remote almost constantly in my hand so I can hit the mute button! Some of the offenders include Dr James Dobson, Ozempic, and several others. PLEASE FIX THIS!!

I just signed up and it is pretty disappointing. Freezing, buffering, round ring of death. I have fiber to my router which is wired to my desktop. Other online streaming content does not do this. Come on Newsmax! You can do better than this.

The live video keeps buffering.

I watch Newsmax on my iPhone. it was working fine for a few days but now it seems to pause about every few seconds I reset my Internet box and restarted it and nothing seems to work. What is the problem.

Constant buffering where it repeats the same 5 second clip over and over and over and over and then it just freezes with a buffering circle moving on the screen. SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO aggravating! I've been experiencing this for two days. So angry I have cancelled my Newsmax plus account. This happens with the shows AND the ads, which can't make your advertisers very happy eithe.

The website freezing, then playing the previous 10 seconds is only on NewsMax-TV. Not the NewsMax2. I have tried two browsers and two different Computers and it is the same. Not my network. Not my VPN. The problem is on NewsMax's end and until they fix it, I cannot get my news from them.

I can never have a one hour straight of watching newsmax without it stopping. It comes , it goes. Very frustrating. It was working well when it was free. But now we are paying for subscription, it's not working well.

NewsMax not loading on Samsung and Sony TVs and Firestick with 'SOMETHING WENT WRONG' message. App freezes when it does load. Problem occurring since forced to pay $50.00 annual fee for streaming subscribers. Also, superfluous commercials rob me of interest in programs.

I cannot get live TV. Only videos.

Got the APP working fine on Firestick. But the APP has no pause, rewind, or DVR capabilities. So unless you want to sit in front of your TV, the APP is useless. This change was rolled out poorly with no APP for Samsung which sells a little over 30% of the TVs sold. But the main thing for me is no DVR. They like to compare themselves to Netflix, which is a joke. On Newsmax, the program is on once and then gone. On Netflix, you can quit a program and return anytime and resume watching. So, for me, Newsmax Plus is a non-starter.

i left direct tv because they kicked you off.....i have been watching newsmax and enjoying it however since 2 days ago you claim that I get on with amazon.... well amazon only gives me an option of newsmax2.....i am paying for your newsmax+ but theres not an app available on amazon or any other. I have NO satellite or comcast etc. YOU do NOT have a newsmax+ app available. You guys didnt think this through at all.

Right now, 10/24 @ 5:40pm CST NewsMax is showing 12:00am to 12:am a d shortly after going live it drops out. I am using ROKU connected directly from my router ether cable and router is direct to Xfinity via coax. My computer that is connected in the h e same manner has no issue.

Often when watching Newsmax on our Firestick, we get repeating dialogue and stalls, so frequently we don't get the whole conversation or segment. Today we get frequent crashes. We have tried clearing the cache, but still having problems.

8/28/23 this morning, when I select News Max and it's show Wake Up America, the show comes up for half a minute or so, then I get bounced out of the app and have to click in again. I'm not having that problem with other channels or apps. I tried powering down the TV, my Modem and my Router. What's going on?

Newsmax app freezes, skips and repeats, has always played terribly on nvidia shield. It plays perfectly on my phone and casted to shield.

Newsmax keeps looping audio. This happens every 4 or 5 minutes and makes trying to watch the network very annoying to watch. Rebooting the tv,firestick,and the modem sometimes helps but usually not for very long.

Newsmax keeps restarting over and over!!

We watch fox news on Xumo Play and Pluto and the network is consistently getting interrupted, freezing every few seconds and not reloading what was missed. It is very frustrating and are close to losing us as viewers if this is not fixed asap. We were boycotting Fox but had to resort to it today to watch the memorial day services. Newsmax needs to do better, you got too big for your britches, do not be like Fox or MSNBC. Fix your network issues or you will lose a huge following!

Jumping from program to program. Sound to one show playing while showing video from another.

While watching Newsmax with the Pluto app, the streaming often is interupted with unrelated video segments or backs up to replay previous content or freezes briefly. These problems make it very difficult or impossible to appreciate Newsmax as a source for news.

Newsmax unwatchable. On Verizon streaming TV it keeps buffering, does not show live TV, previous days videos, freezes, interrupts whatever is showing with partial adds. All other apps function properly. What's up?

I too am having issues with Newsmax App on my Fire TV. It is showing shows from days past, it is spotty, it halts then goes back to loading, the time in the lower left states live but it is showing 9:04pm ET but it is only 6:30pm. I am seeing shows from when the Durham report came out, and Tucker leaving FOX from days ago. This has been going on for the past three days. Please advise!

Not able to watch newsmax more than 10 or 15 minutes when it cuts out and returns to main menu. This problem started today, 05/07/2023. I have tried it on three different TV's. This only is happening with Newsmax, other apps are working fine.

Watching via Pluto and sound tracking is horrible!!! Not like that on any other show. Backtracks and repeats sentences at times. I left Fox and wanted Newsmax to be my news source.

Newsmax playback is jittery when it loads. Then it gets worse and then it just freezes and goes back to the FireStick home screen. None of the Main stream media apps do this.. It runs fine on my PC. The only solution that's been working for us is to power reset our Fire Stick and then it works for about an hour before doing the same thing again. Ludicrous!

Watching via ROKU TV and I get 5 minutes of Newsmax TV for every 10 minutes of “Programming Will Resume Shortly”. Love the channel but I can’t spend 67% of viewing staring at that message. How can I fix this?

On all my devices, shield, fire TV and even Roku newsmax consistently skips back over and over again skips forward sometimes freezes. Why is just newsmax having this issue on my devices? It becomes so bad it's not watchable...

I think Amazon Prime is preventing Newsmax App from showing live access. Works fine through Roku App. Seems like this happens when topics are most critical about Demoncrat antics!

It’s happens to me 3 times already, lmportant topics about our government were discussed in what is happening to our society and how the corrupt left wing are destroying our citizens of this country then suddenly the network cuts out for 20 sec and comes back on with different topic. That is totally silencing us as Americans

News max keeps running, even when we are not on the News max site. We are watching something else with the fire stick and you can still hear Newsmax, ehy? First time this had happened.

I just purchased an S23 Ultra and it is not allowing me to turn on notifications for Newsmax. Most other apps are fine, but while in Settings/Apps... notifications are not an option to select off or on. Furthermore, when in Settings/Apps/Permission Manager/Notifications... Newsmax is not even available in the list for turning notifications on or off. I'm hoping that this is simply a bug with the S23 Ultra since it is a new device. Please advise.

Upon streaming newsmax on fire stick, the app takes us into 3-4 minutes of commercials. Then the final commercial gets hung up and then we have to go through all the commercials a second time. Occasionally, this occurs a third time and then we just give up and go to OAN. What is going on?!!

The Newsmax App keeps pausing on my Vizio Smart TV. It changes from the programming to a message that says "Programming will resume shortly". This happens repeatedly.

eventually the same homepage with donald trump jr. loads but it is the same page, each time i try to access news. I am in Bangkok, thailand. i use 8 conservative websites for over 18 years now, with newsmax and right side broadcast being the newest on the list. all else is good.

Newsmax App on my iphone plays the volume for 15-20 secs and then freezes picture no sound. If you restart gives you tech message i.e. “this video is playing in Picture in Picture.” with no sound.

When I select cast to stream to my TV, the app closes and tells me there is a bug that Newsmax needs to fix. The TV never does start streaming. This started about a week ago.

For the past several days, the app won't go full screen on my Galaxy phone. I have a complaint or a question about the audio on Newsmax. The volume has to be wide open to hear the news and then when it goes to commercial it is deafeningly loud. This happens only on Newsmax. Why? I’m so frustrated with it that I’m about to give it up. It is the only news channel for me and I love it. It was not like this until a couple of months ago and I have checked everything there is to check and it is only on Newsmax no other channel. I have to keep the remote in my hand at all times to hit mute when it goes to break. It’s not my tv, it’s not on any other channel and it’s not the internet. Please please please help me with this. If you have a suggestion for me to try let me know. I don’t want to leave Newsmax but I might not have another choice. Help!

We are unable to access Newsmax on FUBO, we keep getting an error notice. We can watch it on other carriers just not FUBO. We contacted FUBO and they said Newsmax is down which doesn’t make sense if we can access other ways off of FUBO.

The commercial interrupt the programming. The FREEBE AD is instrusive and others cut right into programming!

Newsmax missing on orange news icon(fire stick). Now video is on, but no sound

Every once in a while we get just a black screen on channel 128 LG TV streaming. It shows up in the menu but nothing happens when it's clicked on.

Newsmax app on WiFi (strong signal with 1GB service) TiVo 4K streaming device often "hiccups", backing up about 5 seconds and repeats, sometimes several times in a row. Other times the program freezes when attempting to open the app. It sometimes takes restarting the the TiVo 4k device.

I watch on either Pluto or on the newsmax app and with both, programing will pause or freeze, repeat the audio until the audio catches back up to the video then will continue for a few seconds or a minute then do the same thing again. This has been occurring for many many days and all times of the day and night. I'm retired, so I watch a lot of newsmax-tv. What do I do to correct if the problem is on my end?? Please advise.

I’ve had problems with the Newsmax app showing the live feed. Recorded shows will play but not the live feed. This has been happening the last day or so. I even reinstalled the app to see if that would help. No difference. Help!

Newsmax starts off working ok on AppleTV, then over a period of a few days will start freezing up when watching previously recorded programs. When fast forwarding the app will become unresponsive when the program reaches the half way point. To clear up the app issues I have to restart the AppleTV. This happens on any AppleTV I have. This lockup only happens when using the Newsmax app. I’ve contacted Newsmax multiple times and they don’t seem to care.

Why does it quit streaming between news segments?

Newsmax streams very well on my Fire Stick for a little while. Then it is like there is cross traffic from earlier reporting. The video stalls but the current reporting continues for a bit and then it stalls. I can restart the Newsmax application but the problem comes back after a few more minutes of broadcasting. This has been going on for weeks. All other programming works well on my Fire Stick,

The newsmax app for Android does not connect from 20 hours.

Today Newsmax isn't working on my tv. Sometimes it will say an error has occurred. Sometimes it just has a blank white screen with NEWSMAX on it.

Today 20 May 2022 NewsmaxTV app will not open on my Firestick. Worked fine yesterday. All other apps on my firestick are working. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app 3 times today. Still won’t open or work.
