Since they updated the app//rewards like, 6 or 7 months ago I guess, it’s a joke. The store by me can’t scan your phone to make sure you get your points if the app is down (which it was for months). I was also in the top tier and supposed to get 1 free item a month. I did last year, and then in Jan/Feb I got an e mail saying I did, but it wasn’t on my app. I had to e mail support and they added it on. I guess they no longer do the free item every month, which means there’s zero perks for being a top tier member (so glad I spent all that money!!) they are always out of food, flavors, or messing up orders. If my partner didn’t like their cinnamon rolls (which they also always never have, or don’t warm it up, or put it in the bad upside down) I’d probably never order from there again. Which is a shame, because the Banana Chaiburg is my favorite thing to have for breakfast.

The old Heine Bros app wasn’t the prettiest but it was functional. With the new update, the entire purpose of said app is broken. I can’t log in to my account and the “forgot your password” feature never works. The hard work and points I developed over years of going to Heine Bros are inaccessible.
Honestly, this must have been one of the worst app updates out of any app update I’ve seen on the App Store. I’ve been a loyal customer for as long as I’ve lived in Louisville, choosing Heine Bros even if there was a Starbucks or the like closer.
I’m going to give in to my wife and start buying overpriced, underwhelming coffee at Starbucks. At least their app works!

The old app was great. Simple to use and functioned well. It wasn’t broken.
The new app is broken. I have not been able to log into my account or create a new account since the changeover. Back to using cash to pay for my Heine coffee run. The kind baristas at one of the Heine locations have even posted a notice on their drive thru window suggesting ways that their frustrated customers might try to get the app to work. Thanks for trying! Still doesn’t work.
