The worst app ever. It has never worked properly. It won't update and is basically useless for tracking what it says will track. But the even bigger problem is their customer service. It's a standard 24-48 hours for them to respond to ANY request for help when SecureTeenParentalControl isn't working. And this isn't me just saying they take a long time to respond. That's their company policy!!! I can get anything shipped to me from anywhere in the world in less than 24 hours, but this company can't even respond to an email in less than 48 hours. On top of that, they still took 4 days to respond. I finally asked for my money back. I've been switched to THREE different departments now. Finally I reached the "accounts dept", and it's going on 6 days I am waiting to hear back from them. I am forwarding all of my correspondence to the Apple Store if I don't hear from them by end of business day tomorrow. My advice...stay away from SecureTeenParentalControl.

I signed up for this service to monitor my daughters texts and calls. The text and call logs never would update. I engaged the support team and was told to just use the back up feature on a Mac or windows pc. I explained we don’t have either of those. We only use iPhones and iPads. I received no further response. I waited a couple more days to see if the issue would be fixed before asking to cancel the service and receive a refund. I was again told to just use the back up option by the same person I’d already explained what we use to. This company has done nothing more than take $50. Don’t waste your time or money!

SecureTeenParentalControl will seem to work just fine in the beginning UNTIL you want to view the reports you set up that were supposed to be backed up in iCloud, view locations, view calls, or view SMS. SecureTeenParentalControl doesn’t download squat! I bought SecureTeenParentalControl November 2017 and it has NEVER worked. I have spent an endless amount of time emailing back and forth and demanding a refund from the beginning and all I get is what appears to be robotic email responses that don’t tell me how to fix any of my issues. DO NOT BUY SecureTeenParentalControl!!!! STAY AWAY!!!!
Before I purchased it, I did my research and EVEN CALLED their customer service. When I actually bought it, and had questions after, miraculously, they don’t offer phone support only emails. Like I said, I feel that I got burned and someone stole my $40!! Like another person said, I am going to purchase another app that works and has phone support and ditch these criminals!!! ....cut my losses

I have been trying to work with support for close to two weeks now trying to get SecureTeenParentalControl to work. In the first email I sent I provided my phone number, as well as email, in hopes somebody would just call me and we’d get it figured out and asked for a refund. Instead I’m trapped in this endless back and forth of emails...with a lag time of 1-2 days between each response. In the meantime I downloaded another app that costs more but the lack of wasting time with the back and forth seems worth it. SecureTeenParentalControl doesn’t automatically renew so I’m pretty much just washing my hands of my $40 at this point.

This used to be an excellent app. They managed to turn it into a piece of garbage. It randomly hides all your kid’s apps and places restrictions you didn’t ask for! I had to factory reset my daughter’s phone to get SecureTeenParentalControl off and regain control of her phone. Tech support is via email- every few minutes, hours or once a day. Impossible to resolve anything that way. I asked for a prorated refund only to be told the guarantee time frame is a whooping 15 days. Save yourself time,money, and massive frustration (and a mad kid) pass on this one!!!

I purchased SecureTeenParentalControl based on the reviews. It would have been nice if they offered a free trial. As soon as I opened SecureTeenParentalControl , it was glitchy and buttons were hanging off the screen so I couldn’t see them. Then when I clicked on things I had to tap 6-7 times to get the button to recognize my request. I restarted SecureTeenParentalControl . Still glitchy. The “help” buttons sent me in circles. I immediately requested a refund. The company responded after 16 hours. By then I had downloaded a new app. After another day or so they wrote again saying I should try some of their troubleshooting tips. I said I just wanted a refund. Then they said they don’t process refunds, contact Apple. I contacted Apple and they said contact SecureTeen. I contacted SecureTeen and they said contact Apple. I contacted Apple, they said contact SecureTeen. I contacted SecureTeen and they say contact Apple. I get I eat $54. Ridiculous.

In august I purchased this for my three kids iPhones after asking all of my questions directly to the support before purchasing. They knew I wanted it for all three iPhones. After purchasing it I was told that only one iPhone license was covered. So I told them I wanted a refund and would have to go to another company because I needed all three iPhones monitored. They said they would process my refund. I kept following up month after month and getting the run around about my refund being processed. Then in October I get an email that said now they have the capability for more than one iPhone license. I told them I already went with another company and wanted my refund immediately. Then I get an email stating the following:

“Dear Customer,

Since you have purchased this license from App Store, so there is no option for us to refund it from our end. It's customer driven, so kindly check and follow instruction of below mentioned link in order to get refund:”

So I had to wait over two months for them to send me a link for me to get my refund. They could have told me this in August. This is absolutely unacceptable business practice. They were giving me the runaround on purpose until they could get more than one license.

I did the free trial and was adequately satisfied. Some of the features I want aren’t available until I buy premium so I’m a bit nervous that I don’t know if they will work (text monitoring). But I have been happy with the ability to set shut down times and parameters without having to actually take their phones. Customer service is only reachable by email, which I don’t like but so far they have gotten back to me fairly quickly. I am willing to risk buying for the yearly price.

I was about to get their premium service because they seemed to be the only monitoring service that works on iPhone. One problem: IT DOESN’T WORK ON IPHONE! The kids app, the necessary monitoring piece for your child’s phone, is unavailable, but you only find that out AFTER you sign up for the free trial. Bottom line, if your monitoring an iPhone, SecureTeenParentalControl and service is worthless until they get the child app working.

SecureTeenParentalControl is nice especially in a world where kids have so much access to the internet I’m very glad that I can protect my child. I feel much safer because it’s so easy for her to access her phone.I don’t want her feeling overly body conscious and she’s at the age where she can get exposed to many things. I would like to tone the internet down and make her look at the world at slower pace in a different view. I’m glad that I can now see what she’s doing without feeling worried. I want to make sure that my child isn’t engaging in risky behavior.

Although many of it’s functionalities are rather limited at the moment, I believe, with the right amount of feedback and users SecureTeenParentalControl can become revolutionary. After all, in a time period where kids and teenagers are glued to technology, parental supervision is absolutely necessary. With that said, it is worth giving SecureTeenParentalControl a chance and time to improve.

SecureTeen has a lot of useful features. The ability to control screen time, monitor browsing history, and even track location is so reassuring. I feel like I’m doing my part to keep my kids safe online without being overly restrictive.

With everything online nowadays, it’s hard to keep track of what your kids are doing. SecureTeen has been such a helpful tool in making sure my child’s online experience is safe and positive. SecureTeenParentalControl has helped me set healthy boundaries and monitor their online activity.

This is the first app I’ve had like this. You download it to your device, then go to a link on theirs to set theirs up and link the two. From their you can monitor what they’re doing, set limits, etc. It does have some bugs but all apps do at first so just let them know of any issues and hopefully they’ll rectify it on updates.

SecureTeen gives me everything I need in one app—content filtering, time management, and location tracking. It’s reassuring to know that I have control over my child’s online experience while they still have the freedom to use their devices.

SecureTeen Parental Control has been a great addition to our family's digital routine. It’s simple to use and offers all the features a parent could need. However, I wish SecureTeenParentalControl would send more frequent updates about my child's activity.

We all know teenage years you need to filter things they come in contact with online to keep them safe. I used this and have to say it was so simple to set up and easy to use. I would refer anyone to use this who has a teen that you want to keep safe in our world wide internet

The location tracking feature is so useful! I always know where my kids are, whether they’re walking home from school or at a friend’s house. It’s an extra layer of security that really puts my mind at ease.

I have looked for the best app and I think SecureTeenParentalControl will definitely meet our needs. There are other Scooty apps that will just alert you when an explicit content is sent but the truth is, you need to Monitor all of the messages of your children. And this application will do just that at a reasonable price!

The location tracking feature is one of my favorites. I feel so much better knowing where my kids are, especially when they’re out with friends. It’s accurate and provides instant updates—so helpful for a parent.
