Signal stopped working about six months ago. I receive notifications, but it will not allow me to enter my four digit code nor will it a permit me to respond to message, requests or share information. I have tried numerous times following all suggestions online but nothing works.

How to fix Signal app crashes or not working on Iphone (iOS):

Close and restart the Signal app on iPhone
Update Signal app to the Latest Version for iOS
Uninstall and reinstall Signal iPhone app
Update your iPhone to the latest iOS version

Fix Signal on iPhone unable to connect to server/internet connection issues::

To resolve Signal network issues, Reset phone network settings:
1. On iphone, goto Settings » General » Reset » Reset Network Settings.
2. Enter device passcode » confirm [Reset Network Settings].

Turn off iphone VPN:
1. Goto Settings » General » VPN

Signal Android App Issues and Solutions

Fix Signal not working on Android, crashes, errors or is unresponsive:

Force Stop the Signal App
1. On android, goto Settings » Signal » click [Force Stop]

Update Signal to the latest version on PlayStore

Clear Signal App Cache and Data:
1. On android, goto Settings » Apps » Signal » Storage » click [Clear Data] option. This clears both data and cache.
2. restart Signal.

Fix Signal unable to contact server/ Signal internet connection errors on Android:

On android, goto Settings » Apps or Manage Apps tab.
Click Signal » [Force Stop]
Next, goto Storage » click [Clear Data]
Again, goto Signal » Mobile Data » [Allow Background Data Usage].
Go back to Settings » Connections » Mobile Network » Network Mode. Change the network to 4G e.g. LTE/3G/2G (auto connect)
