InferenceClues promises to help kids learn to inference but there were too many problems to be functional. First the sound and music wouldn't turn off and it was annoying. Then the format was strange. The task asks for the clues that lead to the inference, a much more difficult metalinguistic task than just inferring. Last, some of the statements were odd and confusing for an adult. I'm sure kids would be confused as well, the opposite of what InferenceClues should do. In sum I think InferenceClues needs to go back to the drawing board.
I purchased to open all levels but they’re still locked! InferenceClues confirmed that my purchase was successful but how come I couldn’t open all levels? I need answers, please!
As an SLP working with school-age students, I find InferenceClues to be a big help. In general the Happy Frog apps are great! They target a specific skill and provide enough opportunities for mastery.
