The search function doesn't even work. Words that are clearly there won't show up on searches. I bought the online version of a textbook (unfortunately only came on kindle) and it's absolute trash. This applications loads incredibly slowly, and when I search for things, half of the time it doesn't even work. I can copy a word from a page, paste into the search box, and it will say "0 results". I'm 100% sure I'm not spelling the words wrong; the search function is just broken. I wish I could go back in time and not purchase the kindle version of the book because it's useless.

I needed to submit my resume ASAP. The problem was, my resume was in hard copy. After searching DocScannerOCRFree Store and reading DocScannerOCRFree "promises" it said, it offered OCR. Yeah right! I downloaded it, scanned my resume and OCR'ed it and Voila. It worked!!! I had reformat a few items and just 2 or 3 misspelled words and I was able to submit my resume in very short order. DocScannerOCRFree is the BOMB!!! I'm going to buy the upgrade!!! Thank you!

Use DocScannerOCRFree multiple times on most days. Perfect to make N instant digital record of any paper transaction or record - LOVE the capability to stretch the borders to each edge of the image and then the software converts curled up edges into a flat, straight-edged document. Easy to scan multiple page docs, etc... I could go on but for me, the title says it all

I wanted to scan a text block from a book (not being too worried by page curvature) then convert to text, copy and paste into Scrivener. DocScanner has been working great 'right out of the box'.

Compared to my previous method of using Siri to read text into a document, I'm seeing far fewer errors, and punctuation, which was not happening via Siri, is happening reliably now! THANK YOU!

Take a picture of documents easily creates a pdf file. Super easy to use . I have had it for four years and I honestly do not know if I paid or if it was free. either way get it . Screw faxing never print and scan again .

When I've needed to copy insurance cards, send car repair estimates to my husband, and get things done at work when the office scanner was inop for dats.....Turboscan has been invaluable. Great app, I have nothing bad to say about it--I love it and people are amazed when I use it!

It takes less time to capture short documents with my iPad then it does with my scanner. Would be nice if I could access the documents from Safari so I could upload them to other line of business apps.

I truly have found DocScannerOCRFree very useful! I need to scan paperwork a lot on the go for rescue work and this has been great. My only wish is that you could email more than one file at a time or combine two photos into one file.

Today I finally paid to have the ads removed...I still have ads. Also, the last few times I’ve tried to email my pdf docs, it won’t email them. What’s going on? This has been a great little app until about 6 months ago.

DocScannerOCRFree is great! I use it when I’m on the go to upload reports and other important documents for work and school. It’s easy to use and can read text even in poor lighting. Can’t recommend this enough!!!

I just swap my phone an d would like to buck up all scanned documentes, save them into a file or transfer to my new phone, does any one know how to do it?

I do not want to spend hours sending them to my e-mail account!

App is great, I use it for work all the time in copying documents and sending with various options on format. I would pay $1.00 to not deal with ads, not $2.99. Advertisements aren't so bad so I don't mind using the free version.

I absolutely love DocScannerOCRFree. It exceeded my expectations by far. I had purchased a "Neat Receipt" Scanner a few years ago & had nothing but problems. DocScannerOCRFree surpasses it in every aspect. Wish I had discovered this first and saved the wasted $400. Thank you...I love it!!!

Needs better instructions that show how to make a complete file of multiple images or documents. But it's great once you get the hang of it. Sends easily too!!!

I use this all the time for work and home. Just snap pics, name the doc, and email right from DocScannerOCRFree ! Great picture quality and easy to use. I use DocScannerOCRFree instead of the printer/scanners at my disposal.

For simple OCR it works great. Very intuitive user interface. First time I used it I was able to scan and OCR a recipe from a magazine in just a couple of minutes.

One of my most useful apps ever for sending documents via email. It does a great job cleaning up the document. Couldn't be happier with the free app. Just realize it also does signing too.. Icing ontop of the cake.

A ridiculous amount of ads from the moment you try to use DocScannerOCRFree. Then I upgraded and I’m still getting ads. Not to mention saving these and or sending as a group was cumbersome.
If I really needed this application on a daily basis I would find something way better.

Great and easy to use. I rarely pay to upgrade an app but this one was a no-brainer for me. Just what I was looking for and fit my needs perfectly. Very, very happy with this.

I have used DocScannerOCRFree so many times to upload documents required to continue nursing school. I like that I can email it in a PDF or jpeg format. DocScannerOCRFree has been a lifesaver.
