Alright here we go. I never write reviews but I’ve genuinely never felt so scammed from a wifi company.
My parents decided to move to the mountains because of “mountain men” thanks. So we don’t have any sort of wifi out here and my mother works from home. Initially this wifi company worked good but we started to notice on days our wifi cut out and crashed, we used at least over 24 gbs.
Its worse for people in the mountains because of snow and weather. But the system crashes alot already- that people who live in the mountains just good luck.
It uses up gbs each time the system crashes. So when weather gets bad it uses more. Initially i use around… 1 gb a day for work. But on days it crashes I use 8 gb to around 24. I can only get a monthly allowance of 50 each month because of how overpriced the wifi is. Its outrageous to spend 99 dollars plus whatever tax for 50gb.
To sum this up. Don’t use this if you live in the middle of no where or in the mountains. Good luck.

Essentially this is a bait and switch. I purchased a data package which I thought I understood fully it was for $99. Two days later I had been informed that I was out of data which was impossible. I could only contact them through online support and they couldn’t give me a clear explanation as to why I was out of data two days later.. I am continuing to be charged on my credit card for a monthly fee which they cannot explain. I am going to have to cancel my credit card in order to have them stop charging me. Do not use these people!

This is definitely overpriced internet that only works off of cell towers, I got this because of the ads claiming you can get internet anywhere. That statement is far from the truth, I tried to use at goblin valley in Utah, it did not work as advertised. I bought the 50gb package once it hits 25gb of use it drops the quality and connectivity drastically to the point that it’s not even worth using. This is a complete scam, buy the star link if you want to use quality connectivity anywhere.

I can’t speak on the quality of the device yet because I haven’t been able to use it for long. The free 1 GB was burned on 720p TV show that normally would use .3 GB.

There are many reviews stating that they burn through data more quickly when using this app as a provider.
I normally only use 8-10 GB a month and went through 1 GB with Glocal in 45” of streaming?

Their prices for Spain are wildly expensive. I can get 120 GB with a provider here for 30 € yet Glocal charges 120 €!!! I thought I’d use Glocal’s SIM until my local provider’s new card arrived. But they are just astronomically expensive. I’ll continue to use my phone as a hot spot until the local card arrives.

I will write about the device/app when I can actually try it out.

Be careful with your data consumption—and plan on getting a local SIM when you travel, it’s far more cheaper.

I first found this app really helpful for wifi when traveling and had used it for the past three years or so and travel often for work and fun, but it both takes a long time to charge up (8 hours) and there were several times when I bought a package for a country and the package never worked. I contacted customer service each time and the customer service was not helpful at all to refund or fix the problem, providing no possible solutions except that I lost money and had no wifi. It was really frustrating.

I open a this app account when I bought my device a year or two years ago. I guess I don’t always use GlocalMe so I do not always keep it downloaded on my phone. It did not used to cost you money. It will cost you two dollars now but it will mislead you because it will say no. You won’t be charged anything until you make a purchase but you will be purchased. Just you’ll be thinking of purchase. Just use the device. Excuse me GlocalMe but when I got back into GlocalMe because my device has been stolen and I wanted to make some changes to the settings of the GlocalMe is treating me like I have never had an account with them before and even when it brings up my name, it doesn’t even bring up my device anymore so another user friendly not very reliable and if your devices stolen you’re just rude

I am very unhappy with this company they pretend that they are doing everything in their power to help you but all I got was excuses and they told me to go to the website to login and my user name is invalid so I tried with the website to register again and even then my new password is invalid so I’m very disappointed and I believe that they will just take your money and not really give you the help or fix your problems this is why I gave them only two stars

I don’t think this company deserves even one star. Their service is awful and almost no customer service. I can’t even log into my account After multiple tries. Please stay away from this company. I have never written a review for any company either good or bad but I am compelled to write this review. That speaks volumes for the service they provide OR the lack of it.

Layout of GlocalMe is a bit awkward and I find I have to disconnect from the WiFi and use cellular data to connect in order to buy a package. The 1 day data package for the US is also pricey and makes me consider just getting mobile hotspot access via my cellular provider. But once you’re connected it works fine

I bough the product especially for my MacBook since I have data for my phone.

It’s all good, but I think is a bit too price especially because they make you buy the device. I bought 10GB for 30 days for $36 and worse part is that if use the 10GB I’m done. Like for $30 more I could just go with spectrum and pay $70 for a way larger amount of GB.

So far is my second day with service I’ll come back in a month and see how long do my GB last.

After reading some comments I was blown away! The product worked deep in the Costa Rica mountains (jungle) and I didn’t end up using a packaged that was purchased, I got home and easy helpful customer service! I couldn’t of asked for better service! Johnnytatt on IG for product review

After chatting with Rachael and then Chloe I was able to close my account and since it was the last day of my plan, I am able to get a refund for the upcoming month! It took time but it everything went smoothly.

I tried this and had a very difficult time at first. So I tried a competitor who was HORRIBLE! Went back to this, and now I’m happy. I’ve used this in the U.S. and in Europe for work. If there’s WI-FI somewhere in my area, I can use this and feel like I have some protection over a public WI-FI, and some protection is what I need. If there’s no WI-FI around, I’m out of luck and sometimes there’s no WI-FI around. Typically though there’s something that can be used. I was running a Pickleball tournament in a housing development and I had great service for the entire weekend. I would have had major problems creating brackets and keeping track of scores and winners otherwise.

No need to get up and buy a sim card for the place your traveling to, just buy in app and enjoy the freedom of that worry. Its really easy and wonderful in my experience, and price is as good as can be plus they offer really cool coupons which come in handy!!!

This person is the ideal online chat service. An excellent english fluent customer service representative of this app . When I lost her and I came back, she remembered me. Very nice friendly online chat navigator and advisor.

The this app G4 Pro 4G LTE Mobile WiFi is easy to set up, bind your device, and the link your iPhone or any other mobile device. It has both 5G and 2.3 G service. This is what one needs when traveling domestically or internationally. “Don’t Leave Home Without It”

The online chat was very fast and efficient to disable my device after I lost it. They even made sure I knew how to convert unused data to points. It was all completed in a couple of minutes.

I had some young punk boys going by knocking down my Xfinity Wi-Fi networks. Dumped my Xfinity service! Saved a ton of money. And this service absolutely took care of that. It’s portable it takes care of what I need and I don’t go for hours without Wi-Fi. Thanks for saving my days.
