I’ve been on JSwipe for far longer than I would like to admit and it seems as though whoever took it over after David Yarus couldn’t give a rats behind about helping to create Jewish couples. There are such simple changes that could be made to improve the user experience but there are never any updates whatsoever. How difficult would it be to expand the categories of Jewish communities that people fit into to make things easier for us? Orthodox is way too big of an umbrella and kosher vs non isn’t sufficient either. Why in the browsing section does it show you everyone, even people who don’t at all fit what you’re looking for?? Why if I am one denomination and looking for the same do I have to click through people I would never date? This is such an obvious change that would make such a difference. Everyone always has problems with the messaging aspect and getting new message notifications as well. Feels like whoever runs this app knows that people are going to continue to attempt to use it regardless of how bad it is so they don’t bother to improve it.

This app seems to be dead, it doesn’t even show when a user was last seen online. Also, almost empty area to fill out the bio from the possible options - how am I supposed to know the values and goals in life of that person? . For the past 2 weeks got 0 likes and only after that some 5 or 6 likes from those who are 300 miles away.
Also, as a Russian man I understand that America is a place where there are mostly fat people and women are generally not very beautiful (except for an extremely limited number of Hollywood actresses, however an average woman 20-30 y o in Russia looks better) and if to take democratic states, not so many whites are there. In this app there are a little more profiles of white women but for the likes I got eventually, it was something like “new to the area, would like to hang out” or many profiles where women drink alcohol while hanging out with friends. For me as a man who wants to build a family, I understand that these are not the options because such women are not serious in their intentions.

I already wrote a review and was sent a stock response. I noticed my complaint(s) was also similar to other reviews…those reviewers were also sent that same stock response. It’s clear jswipe has no intentions in actually listening and improving anything. In my original review I said it wasn’t their fault that so many profiles are fake or scammers. But duh, yes it is. They could be enforcing verification just like many other apps use to weed out the fake profiles. And just a fun tip, if you come across someone that says, “ alaye”, that’s a sure sign of a scammer. They say we can do our part and report fake profiles. I’ve reported tons…but then I still see those profiles up and active. Jswipe is the worst…mostly because they dgaf and have a stock response for everything.

And jswipe, unless you’re refunding me my money, there’s no need to respond to this with a copy and paste response.
