Too Much Money & Trouble

I LOVE Bakery Story & Restaurant Story so of course I thought this second version would be fun too. Wrong. This is one frustrating game! This is the first time I've had to leave a bad review for game too, but this one is set up, just like some of the other players here have said, to cost to real world money if you would like any cute decorations or to advance or expand. And I don't mean a little bit of money, I mean the gems are expensive for even one little decoration or an expansion to be able to just buy the food you need to cook for customers. Yes there are quests to help you earn some of the decorations but again, it is almost impossible to do without spending money on gems. I spend money on the games that I enjoy to help support them of course, but this is one game that asks for way too much and if you combine that with the fact that this game requires a lot of attention just to keep small dishes done because you have, as I said, such poor access to ingredients, sadly, I'm done playing. I'd love to play again if they would make even the ability to buy some cooking ingredients a little easier. Then we could at least work on quests in time and still do what we need to in the RW.

Yeah this is a little ridiculous

Basically everything in this game is a little much. I have three expansion requests sitting in my little task log. Getting the money is no problem, but needing to wait for the little construction worker guy to show up just to get the things I need to expand my store isn’t fun at all. My store has become cramped up. If I don’t continuously make the tiny dishes then I’m hardly making any money. They don’t even have a lot of servings. Really. It’s a lot more than just a little frustrating. I don’t want to spend money on this game so I’m probably going to uninstall it. I thought it was pretty neat, at first, but my task log either has tasks for me to download MORE games or tasks I can’t do because of a timer on the ingredients I need, because I can’t get the correct hardware from the construction worker guy, or simply because I can’t afford it after having to spend my money to learn a recipe. Sorry, I play the first Restaurant Story, and I love it. I play these games to relax, not to get more frustrated than I already am.

Money Drain

I like this game and the graphics. Problem is some goals are impossible to achieve without spending gems. Also, bugs don’t get fixed in a timely manner. One issue has been going on for over six months and Storm 8 can’t or won’t get it fixed. Storm 8 is more concerned about creating new events and running them back to back instead of fixing the problems which persist. Not to mention, the event creators are not very creative with recipes. Same event, two recipes the same just different amounts of the same ingredients. With all of the different ingredients available they can’t come up with three different recipes per event? Just tells me S8 is more interested in having you spend gems to win prizes. Very sad and extremely GREEDY!! When issues are reported to customer support, you get a form email stating they don’t support the game any longer and refer you to the game forums. Storm 8 needs to take lessons from other game makers. Have already quit three games for all of the reasons mentioned. When my gems are gone I’ll quit this game too. Storm 8 will have lost a good customer.
