Not calculating, waste time

This new version has some serious flaws. In addition to being harder to navigate than previous versions, it gives seriously incorrect values for ASCVD risk - last two patients I profiled both came back at 1.1% 10 year risk which is just not possible in the population I am seeing. Last person had a total cholesterol of 334! And still came back as 1.1% risk. Please scrap this version and go back to the old one.

ASCVDRiskEstimatorPlus returns an estimated risk based on current data. However the Therapy impact suggests various scenarios that are imprudent. Start HBP meds when the patient doesn’t have HBP. Or intensify Statins for patients whose risk is less than 7.5%

Thenk you for adding a reset button. But now, when we enter a value (which must be done 5 times) it defaults now to the letter type screen, not the numerical. This requires another keystroke for every number that needs to be entered.
This may not sound like much, but since we use it for every patient who gets a lipid panel. this is adding up to a pain. It reminds me too much of my old EHR.
Can I somehow revert to the previous version? Thankfully another group has one called the "ASCVD suite" which avoids this wrong screen problem.

Good calculator but current version freezes after a single calculation. If you want to enter data for a new patient, you have to close ASCVDRiskEstimatorPlus , then restart each time. Pretty annoying

It's a good tool but only when it wants to work. I wish it t had a clear button to enter in a new patient. It freezes up on me to the point where I need to power off my phone and then reopen ASCVDRiskEstimatorPlus completely. For this reason I will be trying a different app.

I use ASCVDRiskEstimatorPlus all the time but it's listed in my phone as one that won't work with the ios11 update 😟 please update to a 64-bit version!!

Would be great to have refresh button, so that after using it one 1 patient, one can clear input fields, and re-use app with another patient.
Currently, this is not an option and makes use if ASCVDRiskEstimatorPlus cumbersome and time consuming.
Please look into this.

Does not allow recalculation or to change input data.
It's sad to see that no one has bothered to fix this issue.

I like ASCVDRiskEstimatorPlus and use it after for my patients, but several times it has caused my iPad to crash. Please find and fix this bug.

Please update ASCVDRiskEstimatorPlus to reflect that aspirin is no longer indicated for primary prevention!

Generally has been great but last few weeks has been freezing annoyingly

Should include bariatric surgery recommendations for patients that qualify. There are quite a few studies looking at CV risk reduction after surgery. The data should be included in ASCVDRiskEstimatorPlus. ASCVDRiskEstimatorPlus appears to ignore a major factor that plays a role (obesity) in about 35% (conservatively) of patients.

Application still needs a reset and return button

The estimation of therapy impact is useful and can be shown to patients so they understand rationale of treatment. The biggest fault is that fields requiring numerical data defaults to letter keyboard. It should automatically bring up the numerical keyboard to ease the burden of data entry.

I like this tool as its results and recommendations are consistem with the joint 2013 recommendations of the American Colege of Cardiology and the American Heart Association, but it needs to be updated to 64 bit version. I believe that it will not run on the next version of the iOS.

Great tool for point of care decisions.... But- desperately needs a reset/clear button to be able to calculate a new patient without having to close and re-open ASCVDRiskEstimatorPlus !

ASCVDRiskEstimatorPlus has great look and feel. Simple to use and terrific content for both clinicians and patients.
