I have been an enthusiastic fan of this app for three years.

It is absolutely my #1 app for creating sound art projects for Instagram and designing album covers. It has a uniquely deep set of photo and video effects allowing me to do things that I didn’t imagine were possible. this app inspires me with it’s rock solid functional options and it is simply incredible what you can create by combining filters.

I often get asked by other Instagram users what app I’m using for my videos as there just isn’t anything else like it available.

I have spent enough time working with the update to be really excited about what the developers have done with this already amazing app. The new editing features and filter combinations seem to provide infinite possibilities yet are well organized and easily accessible. I love that I can take my iPhone videos and turn them into works of art that I am proud of.

One last thing that I think is important to mention is that this development team is very responsive to user feedback. They communicate quickly and try hard to keep their customers happy.

Super impressed with the new release of a classic essential app. This new version really takes making fast original creative content to the next level. It is very intuative and user friendly for the casual user and an essential productivity hack for pro level creatives to explore and customize images and video content that is stylistly their own. I love how Generate makes it easy and fast to explore filter variations that help me to discover and claim my unique styles and share them fast. 🙏🏼 I am looking forward to learning all that this tool offers and growing as a creative. I have actually loved this little app for the start of some NFTs I have been working on. It’s great once you learn how to come up with your own presets. I do wish that had multiple layer options and also added more filters. I would say it’s one of the top 3 photo apps I am using right now for pics and video make sure you save your own filters. Update***** they added some cool new presets to mix up. That is the key to Generate. Find and remix preexist filters you can call your own.

I love generative art and animation and think the concept of doing it on a phone amazing. I know how taxing this is and understand why there are so many crashes and freezes, but in general she has a lot of potential with the added ability to combine filters. The current implementation of it is quite confusing though and clicking certain filters will completely erase your current combo without warning. I think if they just followed a simple layering system and allowed users to control the wet/dry for each effect would be great.

If I lived to be 200, I still wouldn’t have enough time to do all the fun and creative things I would like to that Generate offers. I just keep rolling the dice to see the endless cool combos. I’m no Oprah, but if I were, this would top my “favorite things” list. (My partner found me literally crying and asked what was wrong, I said they were joy tears. I feel like my creative sacral chakra door has opened, is aligned, and is on fire!) Thank you!

I’ve played with all the filter and effects apps, and this new version of this app has everything I need to make the music videos that have always existed in my mind but never have been able to move beyond my library. Real time effects and the ability to make your own combos of filters make creation so much fun. I haven’t enjoyed playing with an app so much since I first discovered Snapchat.

I had some issues with the update initially (my end not theirs) Developer was responsive and helpful with all of my questions. Clearly they have been busy improving Generate and adding tons of amazing new features. As an artist this is a dream tool. I absolutely love Generate and keep discovering more features to experiment with. I also upgraded to pro, it is SO worth. Try it, it will be your favorite app too!!

Love Generate but I would also love the option to listen to music while I use Generate but other than that Generate is perfect! Also I will add one star if y’all add the feature that we can listen to music while using Generate .

I’ve used Generate for years to shoot music videos and social media clips. It already did a great job, but recent updates have made it 10x better.

Saving your own combos is a HUGE time saver and allows you to develop a brand better by consistently using the same fx chains.

Adding your own music is a huge plus for artists and influencers. And the fx react to audio in real-time. Similar results would take hours in other apps.

This is a great example of what developers should look like. I’ll be here for the ride.

Subscription paywalls have no place in hobby photo editing apps. They are just a predatory way for devs to exploit their customer base. Anything you get to use during the subscription will cease to exist if you ever stop the subscription. That means you are paying to rent the IAP, not to own it. Skip the subscription and buy an app for full price or that one that offers IAP for the content from a different dev that respects their customers.

I’m a creative director and filmmaker. The ability to make your own filters with this extremely well thought out app is brilliant. I’m excited to level up my creative with this game changer.

When I first downloaded Generate I did not know it was going to became my fave editing app like I said the possibilities are endless so many combinations , if you like to create , this is it !

I love this app. I've pretty much used it since it's inception. I just wish after all this time that you could simply load a video from your library and process it like a typical filter app... being forced to "record" and then end the "recording" of your filtered footage every time makes start and stop times of the video while it's being processed quote annoying to perfect.

That's my only gripe with Generate. Awesome otherwise.

I was really excited to make an intro, but then I logged in and it crashed. I went back in, it crashed. I’m gonna try again, but it was really annoying. I don’t like that it’s an editor app and you can go live and have to make an account. It’s not what I would think an editing app would have in it.

Fast, sleek and simply magical for making awesome beautiful and glitched out clips on the go.

New combos functionality is next level cool with music clips now in app and easily shareable to ig, tt.

I stopped download new apps but this was an exception. I’m super with this app. It’s a ton of fun, and allows me seemingly endless capabilities.
I’ve sent it to my friends and now we all share this app videos together. It’s great!

this app is constantly iterating and improving. By far the most innovative video app around.

I’ve been using Generate for a couple years now. And what most impresses me is, they keep updating it.

This is by far the best app of the year - creative, user friendly and limitless. Great work Hybridity!

I recommend any creative soul use this

I’ve had Generate since it came out and I’ve always been a huge supporter of it because I have always dug the effects. I’m not a super huge fan of the social media Tyanne but that’s just my opinion. Other people might like that and that’s cool if you do.

I love the effects that Generate generates and I find myself using them quite a bit.
I actually find myself using the ‘audio react’
feature which is VERY rare for me but I feel that it reacts to the beat with decent sensitivity.

If you have any issues the support team is extremely helpful and they will make sure that they help you as best they can— they helped me and I will call out an app if they have poor customer service-this app HAS GREAT SERVICE!!

Generate has held up for years and years but now is generic trash. There were so many great things that you guys destroyed. Imagine classic things in life, abandoning the things thatmade them great.
