I bought 2 cameras through their kick starter campaign on indiegogo. At first, sounded like a great investment, and it did worked for some time... but then a year ago the camera started to act weird. I can’t view or access it through my T-Mobile service. I can ONLY view, access the camera via WiFi. This happened a year ago and it was fixed. BUT this week - out of nowhere - I can’t access my camera again through my phone unless I’m on WiFi. Seriously???! Again?!? Doesn’t it render this security camera useless while I’m on the go? Ugh. Feels like I now wasted $299 for a “half-cooked” idea.

The camera and app are very nice. The one thing that has become a very big problem is that I am no longer able to user Amaryllo when I am no home/in network. The issues seem to be the fact the my carrier T-Mobile has switched my internet connection to ipv6 from ipv4 and for some reason Amaryllo or camera is not compatible with Ipv6, but this is only a guess as I can get solid answer. Please fix this. It's been along and we need out of network viewing.

Fast response from developers. This tells me they are proactive in fixing any issues and these cameras will be a long term investment. So I changed my review to full 5 stars as they truly deserve it.
The tech in these cameras are above all the others.

Setup of the cameras was relatively easy, especially given the multiple options for connecting them to WiFi. It was easy to train them to recognize familiar faces, and I was impressed with their responsiveness and quickness in spotting movement and people! I imagine the premium recognition options are equally good.

We have a few cameras, but AR3S truly stands out. It’s well built and allows both wired or wireless connectivity. The camera’s casing is made of aluminum, and provides a good shield to withstand a wide temperature range. The auto tracking feature is useful to follow all the activity in my home.

Either the Apollo camera, Amaryllo, or both are causing a repeated issue of not loading live camera view. The loading % gets stuck at 40%, and if not that, an error message when clicking on camera settings prevents me from rebooting the camera. I have this Apollo camera installed on the ceiling with the included mount. This is annoying to have to physically get a ladder, unplug, and power cycle this repeatedly.

I use Amaryllo to manage four this app cameras. I would invest in many more cameras because the cameras are great but Amaryllo has two major shortcomings. 1) When I try to connect to any of my cameras on the first try there is a fairly long handshake delay that always gets to 80% then fails with "Error 15". One the second try it gets to 100% and succeeds. This is really frustrating because it has to be a fairly easily fixable error. There are no bandwidth or latency or VPN or firewall issues in these situations but it always takes two tries to connect to any camera. The same house has about six Arlo cameras on the same network that have no such issues. 2) The alarm/alert feature on the cameras works great to activate an audible alert and light whenever motion is detected. However when an entire house is being monitored there should be ONE action on Amaryllo home screen to turn off ALL the alarms and alerts for all the cameras at the same house. The alerts should not be buried under multiple levels of menu settings for each camera - when I enter my monitored house i should be able to have the cameras continue to monitor but turn off all the blaring alerts with one easy button then turn them all back on with the same button on the home screen. This is another thing that the Arlo app does with one Arm/Disarm button for all the cameras with one button.
If Amaryllo had these two features I would use it all the time and add more cameras, however i end up dealing with the blaring alarms from the this app cameras while i actively use the much easier Arlo app for interactive monitoring, which is a shame because the this app cameras are far more capable.

I have a few kind of security cameras in my Vegas home, but this app cameras provide both security and good quality to us. I will recommend them to my friends.

App still says that it is not Google verified so I cannot get my camera to store video recordings on Google Cloud drive. I’m not interested in paying extra for storing on your cloud. Camera is basically useless now.

The inverted colored icon is harder to see. I like orange background but the thin borders of the white logo are not contrasting enough. Either make a solid logo or a black logo with a more pastel colored background.

At the beginning (Kickstarter), it was a pretty good product. Then, impossible to login when outside without the same WiFi network as the camera. Then.., no more free recording and inclunding in the first offer. Then..., stopped working. Don’t buy for sure!

After this update when the cameras are in privacy move it is greyed out and cannot be turned back on or off.

App is not perfect but keeps improving .

Worked great until I got a new iPhone . Reset it, connected to WiFi then said not connected to WiFi ???? I have deleted Amaryllo more than 4x and reset camera? Now a piece of scrap.

Last up dated knocked my camera off line deleted tried to reinstall no luck very unhappy. I use this camera to monitor my puppies can’t do that now!!!!

I no longer have the ability to view my camera without wifi remotely using my phone LTE

When are you ever going to update Amaryllo to make it good for iphoneX?!? Been more than 7 months now!!!!

I've previously written that I believe Amaryllo-hardware product to be about the best-designed system in its field.

This new app allows more than 4 sensors. But if you already use the older app, you need to remove it and then reboot each sensor. After that you follow the instructions as though each camera was a new device... (Don't hit the "change wifi" button by mistake.)

Now, the options are presented as a horizontal scrolling tape across the lower part of the screen.

this app offers a cloud storage plan for a monthly service fee. Personally, I have no use for that plan, unless it can offer me something besides simple on-line storage at rates comparable to the usual providers. I am assured that this app will continue to support the basic free Google-like cloud plan. I just hope that none of these people are from Microsoft marketing.

I am a user of iCam 360. I will like to suggest that Amaryllo should also be able to function such that a users can access the CAM memory via wifi to playback recordings made by the CAM. Some of us do not always have available internet data to Acess the cloud so our only option is to remove the memory from the CAM and play the recordings on other device. It will be very useful to all users if you integrate the wifi playback acess tool.
