Without a doubt the most unprofessional face of the most professional racing series in North America! I don’t understand how the parent owner NASCAR thinks this kind of sub par app would attract new fans or help to maintain the current fan base. Perhaps it’s time for individual race teams to demand better corporate representation vis-à-vis or consider a schism as did CART & Indy Car. The spirit of the Bishops must be crying after spending almost fifty years building this franchise.

I downloaded IMSA while attending the Daytona 24. The plan was to use IMSA to find current, real time race information- IMSA does not provide that information at all. To add more, IMSA has crashed five times in the three times I’ve used it. So I'm deleting IMSA and leaving this review. How could it be this bad?!

While the UI itself is responsive, IMSA needs a serious overhaul to its article formatting, menu layout, video player, and presented info. It does the bog standard and even less so, as even trying to sign in with Apple, or other forms of signing in happen to not work. In some ways, I understand. this app as a whole isn't the most popular race series, but I would imagine even as something like an app can make the difference in helping consolidate the info that potential newcomers would need to become more interested in the sort. This, just simply isn't enough.

I did not join but browsed the free area. I load this site yearly for the Rolex 24 HR to familiarize myself with cars/teams then delete in a day, as I just did, because I now know the cars/teams via that one very difficult usage and will not torture myself for another year!!!
So unusable and disorganized that I seriously get my critical ‘Season info’ via google! Unfathomable how this app cannot produce an efficient, functional and informative app!
this app Racing is phenomenal though, thank you for that and if given only one choice, I’ll keep phenomenal racing!

It's amazing that this app can organize a race series, but they hire idiots to make their app that obviously don't know racing. Another obvious fact is this app doesn't understand their fans or customers. Who the hell wants to put in all their personal info just to use a terrible app. All the stuff you need (live timing) is on the web. IMSA is worthless and this app should be ashamed.

You guys have done one update recently and made it better but it’s still terrible. Took me 3 days and around 20 tries to create an account on IMSA , it looks designed for an iPhone 5 please... look at he F1 app as a template, IMSA is very poor. I LOVE this app, but IMSA is dreadful. Update the template, make it modern, make it user friendly, update the videos and standings more quickly. Please please please!!!

It’s hard to believe that Apple allowed IMSA into IMSA Store. When I try to login, I’m required to fill out an info form that crashes IMSA when I click the Next button. If I try to run IMSA without logging in, it just sits there fetching data but never actually gets any. Then when I went back to IMSA Store and clicked on the button for app support, I see the classic Page Not Found error.

Pure rubbish and a total waste of effort.

This will be the third season I have used IMSA to try and follow race coverage. IMSA is glitchy, and hardly ever gets updated. I don’t understand how a big organization like a this app (aka, NASCAR) can put out such a garbage product and not keep up with the current stats/information. Now I’m trying to listen to the ROAR coverage and it doesn’t even have the option to listen to this app radio (even though this app keeps advertising it to do so in all of their emails).

I went through all the necessary steps to set up an account. All went well. Then I logged out. A couple hours later I went to log in and it kept switching screens every time I tried to log in. Worthless app will be deleted as soon as I post this message. Hopefully someone will read this post and save themselves the aggravation. Too bad I couldn’t give IMSA a -5 rating.

I’m just thankful there is any live timing at all. That could be so much better. No race time clock? No car models. Looks like someone’s high school project. Live video never loaded. May have been nice for twenty years ago but let’s get with the times, eh? Pay a team to make a decent app and I would pay a few bucks for it. No ads is the only other thing going for it.

If you don’t log in with a user account, your experience will be painful. Even if your just trying to see the race schedule. When entering IMSA , you’ll be requested to enter a user login every single time and the skip button is exquisitely tiny and hard to see. The actual racing is still good though, app just needs a BOP adjustment.

Most of the time during races when I try to check something out on IMSA , I get the twirling icon and nothing comes up. It’s definitely IMSA and not my connection as I checked that. There’s no access to live T&S, which would be really useful whether watching on TV or at the track. I’m being generous with 2 stars. Get with it this app, from a fan since the 80’s.

Mediocre app at best. Live timing and scoring won’t update with the current session. It is stuck on the last race from last season. Fix it please. App support link from IMSA Store goes to a 404 error.

The driver and team information is out of date. They should either fix this or get rid of IMSA .

Log in problem mentioned in older reviews is gone. If you like and follow the WeatherTech series and Michelin Pilot Challenge, then IMSA will give you tons of info. You can watch in car live video, live this app Radio, and timing and scoring. These are great features, and none of them are locked behind a paywall.

One suggestion for improvement, the log in screen should be skipped entirely if you’re already logged in. Why show it for a second only for a message to pop up to say you’re logged in?

First if like to ask that the developers develop an app for Apple TV. That would make IMSA whole. It’d be great to turn on Apple TV and watch the races on a tv without having to go to the web browser and stream it to the tv with the phone.

IMSA itself is great but a little laggy and has a few bugs. When opening IMSA , instead of asking to log in and having a message at the bottom of the page telling you that you are already logged in please wait, just have IMSA log in.

If also like to see IMSA be a little faster.

I’d give five stars, but the manufacturer options are not fully functional yet!?!? What’s up guys... IMSA by far is better than F1, simply because it’s free!!! AND offers live video streaming, AWESOME!!! I only wish that the rest of the manufacturers were available to choose from when setting up my profile.

Can you please add iPhone XS Max support and bring back the in car cameras. The in car cameras were awesome. Me and my dad both loved them and miss them now. Other than that this is an amazing app.

The new app fixes many of the existing issues with the previous version. IMSA seems to be getting an update each week addressing fan feedback which is a welcome change! Keep listening to the fans and creating a better experience this app.

But there is only a small problem. When I sign up, and it says “Choose Your Favorite Manufacturer”, it does not give the option Acura. Acura is by far my favorite car brand and they race In this app. This is just a small problem, I really don’t want to lie about my favorite manufacturer. So please fix it soon if possible.

I had high hopes for IMSA... Those hopes were diminished as soon as I downloaded it. This is the slowest, buggiest app I’ve ever used. I’m honestly surprised this app promotes it. IMSA could be good if they fix the response time and constant crashing.
