App opens but is frozen. Cannot do anything when it opens

I have an iPhone 14 and my FindShip doesn’t work. It will pull up all countries but no boats or rivers. I’m a retired riverboat captain and used this app a lot.

The app will only show an open street map. It won't work with Google Satellite or any Google map. Thank you

For large sections of the river Rhine it is not possible to track ships. A while ago the system worked all the way but slowly, more and more of the river becomes blind spots. Any idea why please

find ship: does not FOLLOW UP POSITION OF VESSELS. EXAMPLE: ‘NAUTICO 2’ in race Buenos Aires - Mar del Plata, only shows a position from yesterday with speed 7.9 kts, BUT NO PROGRESS MADE INDIRECTION TO TARGET.Pls. Check and let me know…. Regards, Dieter Specht

This app is or was the best app for people that work in the marine industry.. but now it does nothing but crash and freeze up as soon as it’s opened for iPhone users that is! Really wish this would get fixed!!

How to fix FindShip app crashes or not working on Iphone (iOS):

Close and restart the FindShip app on iPhone
Update FindShip app to the Latest Version for iOS
Uninstall and reinstall FindShip iPhone app
Update your iPhone to the latest iOS version

Fix FindShip on iPhone unable to connect to server/internet connection issues::

To resolve FindShip network issues, Reset phone network settings:
1. On iphone, Goto "Settings" » "General" » "Reset" » "Reset Network Settings".
2. Enter your device passcode. Then confirm "Reset Network Settings".

Turn off your VPN:
1. Goto "Settings" » "General" » "VPN".

Fix FindShip not working on Android, crashes, errors or is unresponsive:

Follow these steps to resolve intermittent FindShip app issues:

Force Stop the FindShip App
1. On android, goto "Settings" » click FindShip app. » click "Force Stop".

Update FindShip to the latest version on PlayStore

Clear FindShip App Cache and Data:
1. On your device, goto "Settings" » click "Apps" » select "FindShip app" » click "Storage" » click "Clear Data" option. This Clears both data and cache.
2. Relaunch FindShip.

Fix FindShip unable to contact server/ FindShip internet connection errors on Android:

This issue is usually caused by your network. Here is how to fix:

On android, goto "Settings" » "Apps" or "Manage Apps" tab.
Click FindShip » "Force Stop".
Next, goto "Storage" » "Clear Data".
Again, got FindShip » "Mobile Data" » "Allow Background Data Usage".
Go back to "Settings" » "Connections" » "Mobile Network" » "Network Mode".
Now, put your network on 4G e.g. LTE/3G/2G (auto connect)
Relaunch FindShip on android.
