Translate.com Reviews

I should have read the reviews first. I have used this on the web and loved the translation so I decided to try their app. This is a bad app. Like many have said, at least half of your screen is ads. First of all who looks at ads anymore these days, let alone clicks in them?!?
There are too many ads, they take up more than half of the screen; buttons don’t work; navigation is very frustrating.

I detest Google, so this was my preferred application for translating. I just opened Translatecom today, and it was cluttered with ads and things that completely obscured the interface. I get that they need to make money somehow, but the they have made the application impossible to use in the process.

Every single time I tried to translate it from Spanish to English using voice, pop ups would stay at the bottom of the screen taking a good 60% of the screen up and I couldn’t even see my translation. Couldn’t even scroll either.

I just tried Translatecom , I first I was skeptical, but I was impressed after translating many sentences from French to English. The reason I am giving 4 instead of 5 is that it couldn't translate my entire poem at once. It only taking sentence per sentence. Other than that, Translatecom is great and I love it. Would recommend

After one translation pop ups appear immediately. Pls stop that.

Translatecom once opened is great, however it just takes entirely to long to open and be ready to use.

Literally so many ads it’s impossible to use. I’d pay 0.99 cents just to get rid of them, but that’s not even an option!

Every time I tried to type in a Spanish word for translation to English, Translatecom would change English to Dutch(??) or Spanish to Italian(??) because... why?
I just deleted this thing right away.

I really hated Translatecom it’s full of ads it’s so complicated to use 😭 like man I just want to understand what the book is saying just translate and go

I love Translatecom if you can make a watch os version Omg currencies.

If you are a user, and just need something translated quickly or want to place an order to have a human translator translate your message, it's pretty good. Very user-friendly. However, if you are a translator and need to look at your translation tasks, Translatecom is really only good for a quick link to open the website on your browser where you can switch the menu from a customer menu to a translator menu, and then you can see what your tasks are. As a translator, I would love to see the ability to check and complete translation tasks from Translatecom added to Translatecom.

I cannot believe how well this works! Interpreter Mode is basically real-time translation, blazing fast. It's even accent accurate! You can legit have a full conversation using this. I'm freaking out all my foreign friends. It even has photo interpretation to read signs! Seriously?! Best I've tried by far, nothing comes close to this. OMG I just found my new wing-man.

I love Translatecom . It's fun and a great teaching tool. However, there are issues. Sometimes it just refuses to translate...it just stops! Additionally, at this very moment, the audio part won't stop translating the same sentence. I hit the audio button one time and the voice won't quit! ¡La mujer es loca!
Please fix this so I can use Translatecom while I'm out and about. I have a lot of friends who could benefit!

Translatecom is great. It would be nice if we could have the robotic voice would more human and slower.

Translatecom seems to work very well. The online version is GREAT!! Let's hope Translatecom becomes the standard for translation. I really like it. It seems to work better than any of the other ones in Translatecom store so far.

As a first generation foreigner, I was always told to find a woman from the same culture. Brought my American fiance to meet my family in Macedonia and this is helping us get through the language barrier. Not perfect but it is a life saver!

Translatecom is very helpful. and i like how it has a three option way of translating words from one language to another. i didn't think Translatecom would work that great due to the lack of popularity/reviews but i definitely had a change of mind after using it. the picture mode takes a minute to translate but i understand why and it's useful. i would 10/10 recommend Translatecom.

A must for anyone doing abroad, but surprisingly handy for day to day use as well. Makes communicating with non-English speakers a breeze, and regularly bails me out when my high school Spanish fails me.
